Everyone, go back and watch at 6:18! Just as Abby finished her spin. There was a small fish that hit the left side of the boat!
I had to watch it several times while pausing at the right moment to see the flash of silver that covered the decal.

Just bought this for my 18 month old granddaughter. She handles the car very well so I trimmed this down for the spa and it's nice and controllable. She loves to turn the wheel.
Very nifty little boat. Fast, maneuverable, quiet. The turbo tube is probably what gives it's speed & maneuverability. All the thrust is directed vs a prop that just spreads it out, which is also probably why Abby got so far on shore, no dragging prop. For it's size it's as good as the bigger boats. Though you forgot the water tightness test. That slide on lid might be leaky❓❔❓. Fun on the lake❕❗❕‼ SAYLOR'S style. ⚓⚓👍👍⚓⚓
I just got one of these today and have been testing it in my backyard pond a bit, and holy hell was this my best RC purchase to date! Previously I'd only owned some cheap rc cars, and this was amazing to get! Mine appears to have a slightly better turning radius than the one in the video, a circle about as wide as the boat is long! Also, one of my local hobby shops, a "Viper Hobbies" in Arizona , sold it for 60 bucks, so if you're in AZ I'd go there. I apologise for my excited ramblings, fair winds and smooth sailing everyone!
Viper hobbies is goated. I just got mine at the Zia on 19th and Camelback for $22
They’re slowly becoming a hobby shop, because they had an E-Flite T-6 25e for just $30 last year
I bought two of these so I could run them in the pool with my 5 year old. My thinking was to use these boats for getting her ready for the river jet boat by pro boat. Was pleasantly surprised how much fun the sprinter boat is. 👍
That is amazing of how quiet that boat is. Hopefully they will come out with more boats that will have the jet propulsion system. Excellent video Nate & Abby!! 😊

The Sprintjet is impressively maneuverable. I like the figures and the decals! I've never seen a "jet" propulsion system like this. It definitely works well.
I just got one, and the maneuverability is incredible! About a 9-10 inch circle, and entirely capable of maneuvering in my *tiny* little pond
Jet boats are a ton of fun. They are more for shallow water and rapids. The ProBoat River Jet is a large step up followed by the AMAZING Thrasher V3, designed and built in the US by Streamline RC. You really need to check them out.

Perfect shallow stream or creek depending on the country you’re in I think it was sparks channel rc sparks. They do these really big jet boat races on a river it’s a hoot to watch. With the great thing about a jet boat if you don’t have to worry about your prop getting damaged so it can be ran in really really shallow water.

It's more for shallow water like creeks and rivers. The size makes it usable in pools, but there are larger models. I like these jetboats.

Nice little boat. It looks very similar to the NQD Tear Into jet boat. These RC jet boats are very popular for running up rocky rapids and white water. They are generally not as fast as the propeller boats but have great handling without having to worry about damaging props. We have the Streamline RC V1 Thrasher jet boat which is 6s capable, they are lots of fun.

Try a THRASHER Jet Boat much larger
The Steamline RC Thrasher V3 100 does look awesome but the $700 is a lot compared to under $100 boat. Just a little difference I would say.
I got to say that is impressive for tiny little boat could have a lot of fun with a couple of friends racing 🏁

If you guys really love the jet boat fun i highly recommend the new streamline Rc v3 its a much bigger boat but i will forsure be checking out this little guy. Looks like so much fun from pro boat.

Those jet boats are amazing fun in small creeks with rapids etc.
Trust me, once you do some "white Water RC" you are going to be addicted to climbing up rapids and small waterfalls with this type of watercraft.
It's much cheaper at Tower Hobby and Horizon Hobby btw.

You're right, it is a cool propulsion technique.
You say you've not seen this propulsion system before. Have you not seen this used on anything larger, maybe a jetski?
It might interest you to know that this propulsion system was first designed and built in the small country of New Zealand. And back in 1960 was used as the propulsion system on the first boat to ever go upstream along the Grand Canyon section of the Colorado River.
A hobby grade jet boat is really cool for streams and fast moving river!!! If u get a chance to buy an affordable hobby grade jet boat so cool but very expensive !! Awesome video great production as always....

It is a jet sprint boat. We race the real full size boats here in NZ. Look up jet sprint boat racing on UA-cam. Really fast racing on tight narrow channels of water

It's designed not to suck up weeds in a lake actually. Just checked the price it's 83 dollars not 70. You should look at RC Sparks Studios, they raced these things on a river a year or so ago.

as I have an RC jet boat and a real jet boat, if u go full throttle until ur going fast and on a plane, cut the throttle for a split second and in that time go full left or full right then gun the throttle and you do a 180 or 360 on the spot

Tho it’s like $350, Proboat also makes a great 21” twin jet model of the PBR, the boat from apocalypse now. They just took another twin jet out of production. The riverine command boat which is also good.

Now that is just COOL. It reminded me off a very similar boat I use to love watching DJ Medic drive over at RCSparksStudios channel. And I’ll tell ya where that little jet boat really shines...in creeks and streams with little rapids and white water. Since it’s like jet propulsion it just hops over small jams of rocks/twigs and the like. Plus the self righting is perfect when it tips on the rapids. Would be so cool to see you guys film it in such a place. Awesome review guys and now I finally know where to find this gem.

Hey guys, love you love you show keep up the great work! I just wanted to mention those jet boats are awesome for really shallow streams! The bigger ones the more powerful jet boats are awesome to take to a light to medium rapid river. I actually think venom makes a river boat.

I just got dizzy. That's a SMALL boat. I am suprised how tiny it is. I remember having bathtub boats with exposed props( oh my!) I am suprised I am not running with Katlyn Jenner.( lol) how many boys had bathtub boats with a propeller back in the day and survived. I have to admit, that boat moves. I would never run that on the Great Lakes or Crystal Lake. Any lake with any type of wave action.

Check out Streamline Thrasher it a full size jet boat and can run off 6s . It's so much fun in a river with some good rapids .

By any chance did you open the hatch to see if any water was inside? What kind of driving time did you get the battery?
Good question! I know from watching previous videos on these little jet boats that water gets in there. But it was usually from driving up the white water of streams.

Just bought one of these and a brushless system for it 😬 neither have shown up but I’m super excited. The only bothering thing is that the hull and jet drive assembly aren’t available for purchase just in case...
Well the jet drive is very robust with a nice long brass stuffing tube and direct drive just from research...

I did, it's incredible. I have a 4500kv motor, 30A esc, both watercooled. Runs on 3S. It's a rocket on the water, so bonkers how much potential the boat has. I don't understand why ProBoat doesn't at least offer a Pro version of this boat that ships with these upgrades as standard, because it really moves it out of the pool boat category and right into lake/rapids category real fast.
Does it have a water cooled motor? I assume it’s efficiency is lower than a true prop driven so it probably runs hotter?
Hi J, at minute 1:52 the close-up shows us the motor with no tubes that typically wrap around for cooling.
