Man I love your setup here, and the tutorial as well! Do you find it generally cheaper to buy broken equipment and fix it up? I know when I was getting into DMG gameboys, the broken ones on Ebay weren't that much cheaper than normal working ones. NeoGeo is that mackdaddy retro console collecting! Do you have a video of your collection?
Brandon, I appreciate the thoughtful comment. To answer your question, I never try to pick up anything broken, but often I will buy something that is 'tested' and then when I try it out go figure it's damaged or otherwise non-functional in some way. That is exactly what happened here. I received two AES sticks with many button/directional issues. Instead of trying to sell them for parts, I went ahead and used the methods in this video to fix them. As for a Neo Geo collection video, that is something I'm definitely interested in making. Your idea is manifesting progress towards that, so let's say it's in the works! Thank you, man.
NEO AES it's about time!
Genius!
Results may vary though I've a feeling that giving the controller connector a bath in Isopropyl Alcohol may release the glue.

Thank you! Hope to hear from you again. Cheers!
