Diagnoses of BCM include but limited to ; Hard start at high temp. Shortage of lights in the dashboards or interiors. Alarm coming up. Automatic doors failure. Etc
This mans video was the only one I found that provided the details required to remove the BCM with out damaging it. Great info, too bad the UA-cam self proclaimed mechanical experts weren’t as informative, and as helpful.
I just sent my BCM to that company. Flashing security light, rear defrost doesn't stay on, DRL flash on dash. Dash lights and interior lights flash at night. Put it back in and it works. No problems. Thanks for this video Chris. I found them on ebay and works great now.
He is absolutely correct, (having a 2002 Vue-had same problems)..this video led me to BBA-Reman in MA...excellent company! 24 hr turnaround time. (shipping took longer than repair-but its ok) Job well done! Affordable fix, highly recommend. Btw, I have no affiliation with them other than being a satisfied customer ss of October 2015. Thanks!
Update: My symptoms were eratic speed & tach, fuel & temp guage failure, dash lights lit up like Christmas tree, intermittent power steering & AC, also intermittent day running lights flashing (intermittently), door locks ratcheting effect & finally interior light would flash intermittently. All this due to the BCM. All fixed from the mentioned company.
Same shits been goin on with my girls Saturn. Flipped out when it started but I'm gonna send my module in Friday. Wish i woulda known about it when i put the subs in😂.Good vid thanks for the help man. 🤙

Ya know BBA is a great Company. but I am fairly certain that you do not need to reflash the BCM but maybe I’m mistaken this video is still terrible. Fairly certain that if you left the key on for 10 minutes turn it off left it on for another 10 minutes turn it off then left it on for 10 minutes more it would flash itself to the ECM it’s worth a try anyways I’m certainly going to make a much better video later on today. All the videos I’ve seen on this procedure do not show you how to take it actually apart and remove it most of them have it already taken apart and removed.
Exactly what problems was you having with the car my Saturn lights are flashing and it's popping up throttle control module I just replaced it not even two months ago and now it's stuck in reduced power mode was this some of the issues you was having ???
I had a recalled key slot put in a 2002 vue and started having problems. They said it was an after market remote starter so I took it completely out and still having problems. Only when the interior gets warm though. off and on The dealer said it wasn't the bcm because it wouldnt happen off and on like that. Any suggestions? thx
