This looks brilliant. I hope it'll do well with transport parts too!

Me too, I think there's different resins that are for different uses. Some strong and some brittle. But hopefully it'll save me a hell of a lot of issues in the future!

I'm hoping to get it up and running tomorrow, and have a calibrate and successful test print. Hopefully - the possibilities are going to be very helpful

Very cool! I saw some repair videos on yt they had to abort the repair because of irreplaceable, unrepairable parts or to difficult time-consuming expensive effort. Would be cool you do a video about an audio device that until now could not be repaired.

I've got just the thing. I've got the mentioned marantz amp and it needs a volume knob and some eq sliders.
I've just managed to dial the settings in for the printer so going to print some audio bits off tomorrow - I'll put a quick video up of the results 😄

I've wondered about 3d printers for exactly this sort of thing, for a couple of years, it will be VERY interesting to see how you get on. I've wondered if there are devices/apps that take a series of photos of a small item from various angles and create a design file for a printer like this, as i see that as the main crux of it, now the hardware to make the things is here

It seems that in order to produce something useful you basically have to measure up what you have and create it in a CAD programme, then print it. I have done a test run of the sliders for that marantz amp and they turned out well - took me about an hour to design them by watching a UA-cam video. For more complex things like cogs it's still possible just more in depth for the design phase. All entirely doable though!
(This is presuming that someone hasn't already done the hard work and made it available online - which does happen)

It already has a LCD Mono screen. I think the technology is the same, or is'nt it? Maybe the resolution is the difference?
