For real. Teo misses the obvious a-lot it might be annoying but it makes the gameplay smoother. So that we can get to the parts that are actually important.
oil rigs are also the 1 place where this much bright paint is absolutely realistic. oil rigs are very dangerous and so everything is designed to catch your eye and not blend in so you dont trip an fall etc

lol I swear that I feel like that's what Limmy was talking about in his stream of this game. He had a British accent and was talking shit about the Scottish people and language as a bit. (Limmy is Scottish btw)
An I the only one suprised by how good this game looks. Normally games look good but people can look a little jank but this game does people surprisingly well along with the lighting.
I’m just entertained by the dialogue ever since Teo mentioned how immersive the game is. Sometjmes it takes me 3 tries to watch a video with adhd because alot of times I find them boring and choppy but this game is easy to follow and doesn’t feel scripted.
Yeah the game looks crazy for an indie game, it really surprised me.
The biggest thing at the end with the whole no explanation to the monsters. It reminds me that not everyone knows what cosmic horror is about. It scary because it’s unknown. It’s scary because no matter what you try to understand. You just don’t comprehend anything about it. There’s more to it then that, but that’s the jist

just finished the game myself. i dont remember the last time ive genuinely cried in a horror game. that ending killed me. i didnt expect a HORROR game to break my heart like that. fuck man.
Finished the game earlier today and although it’s a pretty basic game, it was a good one nonetheless. But the voice acting? Omg is it the highlight. At points it felt like a genuine and great movie with the performances.
right? the voice acting is absolutely astounding. gotta be in my top 5.
The ending is so good, too. Super sad though :(

The Pact was one of my favorite new projects of yours since Colder Milk. The dynamic you have with Richard is always so heartwarming and enjoyable to watch. Commenting on the conversation at 3:19:40 ish, I was noticing earlier the same thing. This feels like a very half-life type of game.

I've not watched the whole thing so I don't know if it's revealed later, but my theory on the heli crash is that there was a fight in the heli because the boss wanted to leave, but the guy with him wanted to go back and rescue the player.
It'd make sense to me that a physical altercation might arise in the helicopter which would cause it to crash in the chaos of it all. Thats just my theory though.

I assumed it was Rennick changing in the helicopter and they wanted to quickly land and get out.
Or rennick got infected sometime beforehand and he started to change in the heli
I think Rennick might've touched the eldritch masses growing on the oil rig, hence why he warned Caz to "not touch it". Considering touching it in the game for too long causes "damage" (or what the game counts as damage), I imagine Rennick touhced it and it hurt him (actually infected him) and he didn't realise it.

I'm not sure if this is the right thing, but the "Secret Project" was basically Teo experimenting with a slightly different style of video editing.
Basically less time and effort being put into YT vids, in exchange for more frequent but still good quality uploads.

secret project is still going, it is not cancelled, and it wasn't the different style of editing. Been working on the secret project with multiple people for almost 2 years now. It'll be announced when it's ready

I miss these types of gameplays. A really well made game with an immersive world and characters and it's just chat and Teo. Haven't been many games like this in a while but I hope to see more content like this !

this lady went in here expecting a free roam open world game with a story that would give her nightmares, but failed to take into account the entirety of the game she just spent 6 hours playing.
if i walk into a bakery looking for a donut, but i end up getting a muffin and i think it's a pretty darn good muffin, i don't then drop a complaint about it saying "the muffin i got didn't taste or look like the donut i wanted. 6/10, but you'd get the same experience watching someone eat the muffin"
if the game you played was different from the game you expected (and your job is to review the GAME, not your expectations of it), then you could at least review it properly.
i wouldve said maybe 8/10, the story felt one dimensional throughout, but it was told well. the horror was more than just scary monsters, it was psychological like teo said; about how these people who were still relatively young expected to see their loved ones sooner or later, and now most of them have either died or are literally walking corpses screaming about how much they wish to see their families again. the ending was in your face about that exact message.
