Really enjoyed the pod. Appreciate that you try to keep it upbeat after losses.❤
Humphrey is the right man for the job, always professional and in good humor. Thanks for the updates.
Humphrey Ker: the voice of reason. Good to hear it from the man and the Board itself. Tim, don't look so blue; it's just a slump mate. The team will bounce back to winning days. It's a cycle. Rhs, keep the smiles and great questions coming. Andrew: three hard-hitting questions in a row. Mate, you wear the reporter's cap well. Great episode gents. Keep them coming. Cheers from the US.
I have a horrible case of man flu! (Tim)
Great pod as ever. Just wanted to say when the substitutions where made, (a little late again), there seemed to be more aggressive play pushing forward which I think was down to Jordan Davies, was great to see him back, but where's he been? 6th highest scorer, plays hardly ever, that says something surely. The one through ball Davies played was great, the forwards just weren't ready for it. Need more of that aggression. Hunger for it if you will.
Love Humphrey. Great chat ❤
Absolutely brilliant, Tim. Brilliant!!!
Humphrey is right when he says the last 2 away performances have been better, compared to the usual dross we have served previously away, but the lack of goals 15 in 16 games is not mentioned, even though thats a huge part why we are struggling and it has still not been rectified. Still feel even though we would have took 4th at this point at start of season , it will be a huge disappointment if we miss out on promotion after the strong position we found ourselves in around xmas and a january transfer window to come on top to strenghten, ( The two we brought are not really a improvement of what we already have ). Good informative pod fair play.
Good listen/watch again.
Good to see everyone edging round to my tactical viewpoint :)
Thought the back 3 and wing backs on Saturday were excellent. The mistake was, as Andy noted, in not startimg Young. Lee has been a passenger for about 3 monrhs now and having McClean in his space obviously isn’t helping. Main issue on Saturday was, as Humphrey noted, some unfortunate decision making when chances were created and a general lack of penetration up front. Once the goal went in (never a free kick incidentally) we were unfortunately never coming back as the options on the bench weren’t there.
At the risk of being controversial I see nothing in Marriott or Bolton at all. Their decision making is awful and Bolton in particular looks no better than non-league level. That lack of penetration will cost us dear. Suspect we lose at FGR. Having seen Accrington away I am massively reassured that the absence of O’Connor and Evans will at least give us more possesion if we start Young. Getting 3 poimts though? Where ate the goals comimg from?
Another Book of Okonkwo gem!❤
Always a good listen Gents 👍
Fantastic conversation, Gents.
Don’t let him go
Don’t let him go
He plays in goal
Book of Okonkwo segment was fantastic, mostly because of Andy's reaction. (40:00)
I need the audio version to download for an upcoming plane trip

I get the feeling that the team is worried and panicking. These guys are all worthy of good to great games , they need to settle down, and more importantly get the basics right! It worries me that lately, it appears that the lads are shooting at goal willy nilly, it signifies a definite lack of team spirit and support. Everyone looks as though they are out to prove themselves!!😊
I don't get the leaving mullin and palmer on the bench for the new signings. Feels wrong and hasnt worked.
It will be very interesting if Welcome to Wrexham tries/does show positive actions that Parkie was making during this part of the season where Parky is getting such negativity from the fans.
I do agree with Ref comments, i often wonder if the English refs are affected by anti English vitriol from the stands, they are human, also if Paul didn't fall over so much i think he would get more fouls, unfortunately he has a reputation
With regard to Ollie, two words Matt Smith.
7th was my prediction at start of season and that's all this team is worth. League 2 again next year. New manager (perhaps Wayne Rooney, hah!) midseason 2024-25 and end of documentary after season 4, and then still in League 2 for a third year. What you haven't discussed is possible player dissension in the locker room which is well hidden as several players lack motivation with no contracts and even those that do, like Mulls and Lee have gone subpar. Mansfield champions, Stockport 2nd, and tossup for third between MK Dons, Crewe, Barrow, Crawley and Gills. Hope I'm wrong and I'll deserve a kick in the teeth but after Gills, I think the jig is up no matter how much lipstick Ker paints on the pig.
What a boring, miserable lot! Thank god for humph to inject some life into this depressing lot.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🥱
Please no more us tours unless we have a base camp. No crossing the country killed our start of the season
We obviously needed a striker in the Jan window, and it is coming home to roost now, anyone who watches team home and away (hi Andy in the pub in Sutton) knew this was coming, Palmer looks over weight and disinterested, Fletcher cannot play 90 or 2 or 3 games on the trot, Dalby just isn't good enough, seen bits from Marriott but looks a few games away from full fitness, I am not overreacting but if we bought properly we would have won this league, its not the Gills/MK performances that bother me its Salford and Newport
It is just pathetic blaming Mullin's lack of fitness in February on a lack of a pre-season!
Pundits said lack of a proper pre-season was the case with the rest of the side in August (and who is responsible for that?!) but the players were over that in September.
Mullin came off the bench on 9th September and then made his first start of the season a week later on 16th September.
