The letters and numbers do have a meaning, otherwise they wouldn’t be there. The letter is the spectral class of that star. Yellow stars will have a spectral class F or G. More important is the number behind it, ranging from 0 to 9. This notes the star’s relative temperature. Higher numbers mean lower temperatures. So if you are looking for an earth-like planet, you must look for a system which has the following specifications: Class F or G (yellow star), number 4-7 and water. Because if you for instance find a system that is a class F or G, has water but the temperature is 8 or 9 than the planets are going to be frozen. On the other hand if you have the same specifications, but the temperature is 0 or 1, then there are going to be burnt planets that are way too hot. So you are looking for a temperature ideally between 4 and 7. I hope that helps.

That would be very interesting, I think the more advanced a civilization is, the less aggressive it will be and the more they will try to communicate with you on a mature level if they have technology like radio telescopes.

Kinda wish there was terraforming but I believe that would ruin the joy and excitement you get from finding an earth-like planet that has everything as close to earth as possible Anyways, new lore for Naboo The people of Naboo while within the Brolo Republic, there were still some groups who wanted to have independence from them and the Arushari, Native Naboo, and a few anti-Republic groups started a united revolt against the Brolo Republic, once the Brolo Republic was gone they realized that they’ll come back with a stronger force and decided to use the stolen nuclear bombs to destroy the planet, abandoning their plan of independence and making sure Naboo is unrecognizable, when a Brolo fleet entered the Naboo System, they spotted Naboo except it was destroyed, the scanners read the radiation levels as extreme. The fleet sent a squadron of rescue ships to find any remaining survivors but found nothing except for a few ruins of old bases and cities. They left the system knowing they had just lost their last earth planet and reported it to the government, the President made an encouraging speech to find a new home for the Brolo Republic and many people got to work. After a few years of searching, they’ve found many earthlikes and are still searching to this day, hoping to find the truly perfect world somewhere out there in the vast expanse of the universe. The two other earthlikes that they had before Naboo were also lost, one (Socollov) to a meteor shower that had harmful minerals which ruined the water and caused a mass extinction event and was rendered a lost cause by the Search for Earthlikes Institution (SEI), the other (Brolodise) wasn’t so natural, they lost to an invading insect race who’s name is unknown as of now. The planet is still a bit intact for life but it wasn’t part of the Brolo Republic anymore. A group of people known as the Brolo Liberation Union decided to form a plan to take back Brolodise as it was the first ever discovered earthlike and where the Brolo Republic was founded, currently they’re getting their fleets ready for a planetary invasion to liberate the planet back into Brolo hands. The insects were a bit oblivious as they thought the Brolo Republic was some weak excuse of a faction though some did agree to prepare defences in the case of a big invasion from them. Many media outlets from across the local group are saying that a war in Eissentam is inevitable due to the growing military presence in the Nolo Nova system on both the insects and the Brolo Liberation Union I actually did set up a base on the planet simply called “Pest Control Outpost”
When you find a planet via scanner and you land onto it, it may actually have a completely different color. Like when it looks green and blue but its actually covered with red grass, purple trees, green oceans and yellow sky.
The atmosphere thing hasn’t really changed tbh, you probably found a planet that when you enter its atmosphere it looks like a different colour, those planets have been around even before echoes as far as I know
I'm not a big fan of this update because of their galaxy refresh. My wife and I settled on an absolutely gorgeous paradise planet with dinosaur-like fauna and bioluminescent blue and gold grass. It was a beautiful sight day and night and completely tranquil. But now it's not like that anymore. It's a completely different planet and we're frustrated because we've spent days looking for this kind of planet.
And if it was possible to export bases or take a BP and kinda rebuild it, it wouldn't be that worse. Some people have beautiful bases and made them on respective planets, where now the bases are not that immersive anymore. Just sad

I had 38 earth type planets with blue sky water, trees etc ive been left with 7 but really about 4, they removed the trees to shrooms or changed the filter gutted. But luckily one if my favourites is the same , rolling hills, mountains , very similar to the last one u had, I will send the address later today.
If you want to speed the search up more, pay attention to the letters and numbers on the galaxy map. Not only do want either G or F class (yellow) stars, but also the number should be 4-6 (represents system temperature).

Edit: found a Reddit post that talked about the numbers and they said that 1 is the hottest and 9 is the coolest, they also explain that this star temperature theory for the numbers is up to debate, don’t know if it’s been proven or disproven yet as the post is about 4 years old now. If the temperature thing is true, then I’m going for stars that are a 5, so I’d look for G5 or F5 type stars if I want the highest chance for paradise planets, I think it may also vary depending on the galaxy.
Seeing the atmosphere color from space gives no clear indication whatsoever or what the atmosphere will look like once you were on planet.. Example: yesterday found a earth-like planet with a purple looking atmosphere but once I got down to the planet the sky was actually blue This does not correlate anymore. So if it shows up blue from space that does not necessarily mean anymore the atmosphere is going to be blue from planetary view
I was very lucky with my restart and had 2 paradise planets right in my starting system. One had floating islands and otherwise looked very earth-like and the other had red grass but the vegitation was earth-like otherwise.
Time to get searching. I'll have to wait a billion years to get the update on switch, but hopefully I can find some cool planets for the Brolo Republic, despite not being part of it. Think of me as a neutral allied force
Honestly my patience isn’t too good when it comes to finding something after like 2 or 3 hours. I’ve searched hundreds of systems in Eissentam and Euclid but found no earth-like planets with a blue atmosphere and creatures that aren’t completely unrecognizable to earth’s creatures. Most paradise planets were all land no water, earth-like land and water but with weird life and a yellow, red, green, or purple atmosphere, one that has a blue atmosphere, blue water, and green land but ruins it all with weird dinosaur-like creatures and tumbleweed wannabe beach ball. It’s definitely hard to find one, but I’ll keep trying until I find an earth because there’s never a place like home. I’m also using that same method if you’re wondering.

With Light No Fire set on Earth, it’s highly unlikely they will add more Earthlike planets to NMS, but they will probably add elements from that game like in this update
Nope, it's much faster to use your ship than your freighter because of the time it takes to go to and from your freighter... Also, just searching yellow stars is a mistake... You want to search the numbers between 3 and 7 on any color system for paradise planets... 💥
You stay in your freighter as you warp… did you even watch the method? You go back and forth between the warp terminal and the scanner, you only fly out of there is a paradise/biome you want to find in the system
Won’t they just do this again and the planet will get ruined? I had a rose earth like bubble luminescent planet. Now it’s just a red grass planet. I had so much invested in the planet and my settlement… I don’t wanna go looking for weeks for another update to do this again.
Do you have hope that Brolodise, Naboo and Secolo IV could return to their former glory with a patch? I've seen some people whose paradise planets have become less appealing with this update clinging to the hope things may be fixed. I think you've got the right idea cutting your losses and looking for something new tbh

The crazy thing is all my earth type planets were in dissonant systems, b4 I never touched them but then I started finding them more regular, maybe chance aslong as its yellow between 1 and 9 only zero I never found an earth type planet, makes no sense. I guess its just random.
I swear all of my main planets are identical besides the water level being way higher ln my water platform base which is underwater 60% of the time now

I’m a mix of both, sometimes I try finding a system with an earth-like planet and a planet with extreme weather because I like to roleplay as a civilization getting ready to colonize from the paradise planet (their home world) and then have to figure out how to establish a permanent settlement on the extreme one so they’re using a massive amount of resources to build a settlement capable of withstanding such conditions which weakens their home world’s conditions, making life on their home world harder because they’re slowly destroying it trying to colonize another world.

Microsoft takes as much time as the universe’s current age to approve any updates mainly because they deal with lots of games getting updates anyways so they can’t just “oh, No Man’s Sky got an update?” and immediately approve it like that.
This is an old guide that exists on my channel still, the new intro is mainly to announce that we’re on the hunt again for a capital, since the existing ones changed.
The developers of this game caused dozens of parts of each type to be build. Creature parts, Ground parts, plant parts, building parts etc. They then took these parts and put them into a procedure generator and it spat out these galaxies. Its all a random mish mash of crap and they got you sheep traveling all around looking for what we see when you walk outside IRL.
An entire inhabitable Universe and humans just want to find Earth again :') I love our planet.

Already discovered a planet that has those bug-like creatures from early gameplay trailer footage of the update and I tamed it as a pet

Probably Monday or Tuesday. That's when "Orbital" dropped for Xbox.
Microsoft takes as much time as the universe’s current age to approve any updates mainly because they deal with lots of games getting updates anyways so they can’t just “oh, No Man’s Sky got an update?” and immediately approve it like that.

There are certain discords where people are willing to throw freighter upgrades at you if you're up to that
None of them are really earth like cause therea no multiple biomes.
I hope they do add multiple biomes to lush planets but for now I don’t see that becoming a thing for a while.

The developers of this game caused dozens of parts of each type to be build. Creature parts, Ground parts, plant parts, building parts etc. They then took these parts and put them into a procedure generator and it spat out these galaxies. Its all a random mish mash of crap and they got you sheep traveling all around looking for what we see when you walk outside IRL.
