I like to think that the ball is your hand and the 8 is the movement of the balisong, and the behind part maybe is the perspective of the person watching, I'm pretty sure its nothing like this.

I defiantly want to do some more beginner friendly tricks, I have a few I'm considering, a surprisingly easy one to learn is the backhand fan, but even ones like the latch drop as you said could be nice to learn as a beginner

This is sick but I need a more heavy Bali than my 51 to do this kind of work. I love my 51 for flipping and it's looks but It has no weight. And my 32 is great for work and fidgeting with but not for anything more than a rollover into reverse grip because it's insanely small xD
Brandon Cornett I've heard that be a criticism of the 51, where more technical tricks become harder than need be to do. Still a nice knife though 😊

really nice, i love australia but the bloody knife laws are shit, therefore i am stuck with a crap trainer and all the good balisongs are illegal here, even if i imported a trainer it would probs be seized.
Moofy I'm sorry to hear ☹️ I think the mindset on balisongs will change in the future but the idea of it being too dangerous to own will be a constant battle. It's unfortunate because it's an item that can be used as a recreational item and for artistic purposes

Shit. 2 years of learning make it so that I am not capable of doing the proper one. My finger just muscle memories through and catches the handle in a helix sort of way. It is veeery complicated to just... Cross the thumb and the Index. Plus it feels like you have no time to do it. This one feels strange af, but thanks for showing that !

Is there a big difference between a curved balisong and a normal one? I found my knife and i have to change it because its really old and i cant do circles with it, even a thumb roll over is hard for me to do it. Ryuugan Soul the overall consensus I hear is that tricks are easier to do on a straight handle balisong rather than a curved handle balisong.
doesn't mean you can't do tricks on a curved handle balisong but that it may be harder for some/many tricks
Thanks for the answering, I will be looking to buy a straight handle balisong. I actually barely saw people using curved balisong, tho they look cool and I was curious about them. I broke my knife today and I'll try to find a good looking one, tho can't find something like the one you are using it.

Archer Working you can get them from bladehq.com, knifecenter.com, or bladerunnerssystems.com when in stock. The maker, BRS, usually does small runs of these knives so you might see them come up for sale every 3-4 months for maybe a day or so before being sold out

I think you should start telling the viewers what knife you use. A ton of people who don't do their research are always commenting, "What knife is this?" , "What is the blue knife that you have?". It's kinda getting annoying.
Balisong Newbie hello, I've thought about doing a video on my knives just so i would be able to drop a link to the video with maybe timestamps to make it even quicker for people to find out.
While I don't mind answering people when they ask about the knife I will say it is a bit time consuming on my end for something that can be taken care of in a fairly quickly video.
