That is one I just learned myself and I think it's wild that it works. I'm betting they're going to patch that out though. And just for clarification, I did it 4 more times (twice in the Wasteland) and it didn't spawn anything.
It probably has to do with damage dealt by entity and not by character. The game just doesn't know how to spawn enemies because your character didn't actually do the final blow.
I expected all of this to be common knowledge, but there was a bunch of stuff I had never heard of before. That counter-clockwise rotation is going to be a life saver!

The only reason why I tried to add em all is because I always keep too much stuff on me and I can't bring myself to not do that. I needed more inventory but I didn't want to install a mod. That and I could never get her healing mod to work right. She would never heal me. I think she did once by accident.
@@YTDoubleG Also, you can stack pocket mods on the same piece of armor, as long as each pocket is a different size. So, while you can't put two triple pockets on one piece, you could, for example, put a quad and a triple.

I really appreciate that. I do all this video stuff. I create all sorts of mods. I stream it for 7 to 10 hours at a clip, and I still play offline with friends and never get bored. There is something special about this game.

The honey from tree stumps tip has saved me a few times already, given I have terrible luck with medical supplies and Jen too, she often has no antibiotics for sale. And the two commands to skip the intro and news screens is great too
As someone who likes to wrench things the engine to mechanical parts piece is a godsend for early game as there is usually a better chance of finding a engine in a car vs 4 mechanical parts all together in trash.

Another trader tip: Once you reach a certain tier, for example Tier 4 with Hugh in the snow biome, you can go back to the desert biom with Bob and he'll give you T4 quests too. Handy if your base is in the desert and you don't want to keep traveling back and forth between biomes. You lose out on the higher game stage though.
The one where you added the giant GG to the map blew my mind, didnt think anything on any of these tip videos would! lmao that cop challenge for a crucible is huge though, good mid game objective
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to effect biome resource spawning as the trees from the former snow biome were still there. Wouldn't be able to just paint a little desert biome close to home for free oil shale. But I suppose it would effect threat levels and loot stages.
Changing the colors on the map is how Capp00 does his Wasteland Warror and Winter Warrior series. At the start of one of them he explains how he did it.
Turns out all it effects is the terrain texture. It doesn't even have an effect on what the biome actually is, no effect on the skybox, no effect on difficulty or loot stage. Basically pointless.
@@leeshepherdtrading just break everything you see. Trash bags, tires, traffic cones, etc. If it looks like plastic, it’s plastic. If it’s lootable, open but don’t take stuff, then break it and get the loot bag that drops. Also if you’ve specced into Miner 69er, it’s worthwhile to break any cardboard boxes you see for both polymers and paper. Tier 1 and 2 house POIs are best to get polymers.
Yeah, polymers are easy to get if you just break everything. They really add up. Dog carriers and tires (especially tire stacks in auto shops) give larger amounts if you want a big boost.
@@leeshepherdtrading Noise traps can be broken for cloth, plastic, or glass. What it looks like is usually what it gives. I tend to whack all of them (except glass, f glass) and get plastic for selling and cloth for duct tape.
15:56 - Tip 86: The 141x141 Spawn Nullifier I accidentally discovered this several alphas go. On a whim I used a hoe (yes, *that* long ago) to flatten out and farm all around my base. Next horde night...nothing spawned anywhere nearby. I think it was also that alpha that you could build down the bedrock under a mountain and horde zombies wouldn't be able to find you.
With the exception of the key binds bit and the intro skipping I knew it all but then i do love to tinker 🤣 That said it was a bloody good vid and very entertaining to boot 10/10
When you complete a book set or the volume books, the book will show a open book symbol at the top left of the book. It will show a closed book if you haven't read or finished the book series. You can sell the books for a lot of dukes as well.
At 11:29 in controller settings the option to change this is either pressing down on the right or left analog stick. You’ll notice a difference when you drive so just test it out.
That was new to me too. Rooster Gold found it. Also, I learned the hard way that the mutated zombie's head is really his face. I was running a headshots only mod and he was a floor below me and I was shooting down at him and he wasn't dying.
@@YTDoubleG I remember someone doing the romero mod which is head shots only and just wasting tons of ammo before figuring out where the actual head was. I cannot remember if snakes where an issue though.
The devs did plan on a smell mechanic to be implemented. There isn't much of it in the game aside from abandoned code to have zombies attracted to players with raw meat in hand. They dropped the idea after finding it quite complex to fully implement.

Awesome tips! Learned a lot of new ones. For the axe being a good melee weapon, is it better to keep that on you instead of a spear,club,baton,ect.??? And with what mods make it the best it can be for melee?
No. Proper melee weapons will be better but the steel axe and the steel pick axe can be completely useful as melee weapons. Also, the mods for tools that increase block damage will increase your chances of dismemberment on zombies, which I cover in my 77 Tips & Tricks video.
As long as you're not too far away from the host or server, then multiplayer / co-op is fun. But if you're too far away it's pretty bad. The game can't handle latency too well.
I wish I knew about the Key Bindings registry values before I moved from A21 to V1.0. It took me forever to get my keys back right. The Fun Pimps should really make saving your custom key bindings easier than that.
That wouldn't have worked because you never played V1.0 before. You can only save the keybinds and settings of something you've already set up keybinds for. Also, A21 and V1.0 are a little different. The same sensitivity values do not feel the same.

I did not know super corn was that valuable, I am sitting on a gold mine. Also I think the shotgun and smg auto turrets can push a demolishers boom button. I experienced this during the last blood moon. Course, I had them at higher elevation shooting down so maybe they can't hit their buttons if they're also on the ground?

You can change the driving by pressing right stick on the controller to use the left stick instead.

Putting multiple storage mods on drones is nuts, never thought to try since you can't usually put 2 of any mod in armor or weapons.

The downside is the drones are buggy and you will loos the stuff in the drone if it bugs out so is it really worth it. I dont use them

Scrap polymers sell for 3.2 per 1 piece (WITHOUT ANY BARTERING PERKS) and you can get several thousand per day.

Regarding the robotic sledgehammer, I usually use it to push the zombies' feet. This way you don't activate the demolisher's explosive.

I discovereed by accident that falling trees actually makes damage to zombies and other players that are not in party.

The number could go up, maybe infinitely, but there's no benefits after 208.
