Nice collection. One year already! We need to get a few early post war locomotives in your collection. I never understood the fascination with earlier post war trains until I held one in my hands. It’s like when you hold a quality wrench in your hands. You can feel the quality and weight in your hands. Then you’re hooked. Great video.

You have an impressive collection of trains for your first anniversary in the hobby! I particularly like the Lionel Atlantic Coast Line F-3 ABA Diesel Set. The F-3 Diesel design has always been my favorite.

27:29 love those old k line tmcc engines. They made great stuff back in the day. Super detailed, and on the used market, reasonably priced usually. I Have one of their scale FM trainmasters. That thing is an absolute powerhouse. Also have one of their K4 pacific’s. Their detailing work was so many levels above Lionel’s at the time they were made.
I absolutely love my K Line! It has great sound and detail, I was very lucky to find it!

I wouldn't worry about the quantity of the collection. IMHO, it matches the theme of your layout which is always a plus in my book. This is what always count with the representation of many of the southern states railroads.

Nice collection peachy and great looking trains and i need some diesel engines in mine but i always see a steam engine that catches my eye 😂😂
I absolutely love steam engines! For the longest time, we only had diesels due to curve constraints, but as soon as I could run steam, I was hooked!
@@peachystrains8772 Thats cool to hear peachy and i would suggest on adding the big boy 4014 to your layout but thing is you have to have 072 curve track for that beast if you dont have that already but its really costly as well my legacy big boy was right at 2k

Love your enthusiasm and the channel is great. Nice collection so far, but you need some Chessie stuff (I'm partial, I was the last Pere Marquette prior right conductor on CSX).
I may end up expanding some of the roadnames we have, we started with Norfolk Southern and Central of Georgia, but then I found ACL, and have expanded to CSX since they now own ACL

I got close to 200 engines and 2000 pieces of rolling stock, about 150 are MTH and the rest Lionel and Atlas. I’ve been at it awhile 😆🤣😂

Great vid. I like to run conventionally with old zw transformer. Should i stick with lionchief and railking trains?
Love it. But why only 2 MTH engines/trolley’s
Our first layout we didn't have set up with a good transformer etc, so it was hard to run with conventional control
