See you all in 5 years when this is recommended again
see you then
Hopefully ill be there
See ya!
Hi
here
I've never been a fan of hobby servo based walking robots, just because of the sheer noise and often jittery motion, but this is probably as good as it gets! You've done a great job!
The servo motors which he is using are small but possess a lot of torque and induce a shit load of current. It’s def a step above the average hobby servo. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll absolutely fry your board like I did.
I’m making a beetle mech hexapod from scratch and these videos inspire me a lot!
The best legged robot that I've seen after spot mini
Markfps search assault type thomas ,you can thank me later
But the thing is on the chinese/japenese so just click on the first video
@@zenithpals9758 I can thank you now! hahaha omg fuel nightmare, it's bouncy and dangerous. I love it.
Markfps 😂
I'd go and say this robot movements are an order of magnitude more elegant than spot mini
This is very interesting, I was actually designing a quadruped and seeing this i might actually change to a hexapod seeing it has a more stable and a more fluid way of motion compared to quadruped. UA-cam needs more videos about this exact topic, so keep up the good work, you deserve way more subscribers for this.
Hexapods are cool (especially the one shown in this video) but quadrupeds have an extra creepiness to them.
Search for Halloween Hex on my channel if you want to see my hexapod. I made it using a cheap parts kit off ebay. I added the LED eyes myself.
I love how organic it looks
Happy new year 🎆🎊🎈! Your robot spider is amazing!
Thats awesome, Im quite amazed how hexapod robots have evolved throughout the years.
3d printer get cheaper
microcontroller get cheaper and easier to use.
@@Mark_badas i knew them but cannot achieve this one.
Increible trabajo! 👏🏻
Nice photography! Your thumbnail looked like it was CGI. Thanks for sharing your work.
Woooooaaaaahhh it's sick dude! And the walking is smooth as hell
What a nice project. I am looking forward rebuilding this and adding a teeth like gripper
Es casi un arte. Increible se ve natural los movimientos.
So neat and well designed
Look at him dancin at the start
he vibin
Her
Amazing how much effort did you put in this project!
Wow this is another leveled movement and so stunning lol
Your spider looks more interesting than ours! Especially the color.
Very nice, good quick movement. Did you do the electronics and coding? What microcontroller do you use? You should do a video on that 😀
Amazing work : )
Шикарно!!!
Teach this to jump, to jump in different directions. Make the plates on the feet ,for sand ground . Installate the equipment and you'll could send it on the Mars.
Your robot is fantastic, which is why I am so interested in doing the same.
This looks so much like the Nelly from B.o.T it looks so cool!
what's bot?
Wow, wonderful
I really hope you make a physical kit of this. Because I'm really willing to buy
Very nice!
Hi, could you please link the Lipo you are using ?
I'm not able to find a lipo of the right dimensions.
Hi Tsai, Amazing project. Could you let me know what material is used in the body parts (in the 3d printing).
Good Job!
Best thing I've seen today
What servos did you use? Great project.
Now you realize how perfect the nature is.
Yes I do bro!
But, some useful ones were cracked by human. Many still are unknown.
Nature does a lot of things really well but it's far from perfect.....
@@niekon2600 the nature is so perfect that even your post will mean nothing in 1milion years when nature will delight itself with new species and new weather.
Trust me nature is perfect in every way, we aren't. If it helps you in any way, you and me are another failed mutation, nothing more.
Nice spiderbot!
Are you using inverse kinematics for this? Look awesome!
oh my God ...... That's Amazing
Good effort keep it up
I think it's cool if you put an FPV camera on the hexapod
Do you want replicators? Because thats how you get replicators!
It's awweeeeeesomee 😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He do be groovin tho 👀
🔥🔥🔥future is near
This is barely a robot compared tos one Boston Dynamics stuff, but still cool.
love it
This is cool!
A lot of movement and durability on the legs.
So are you using 2 servos on each leg?
There are three of them dude
Divyansh Maurya ok dude
@@Tetra3Ne56scur cool dude
these hexapods would they also work while using sensors to let it know if obstacle is there ?
Holy shi*!!!!😱🤯, a incrible robot, very realistic. I don't know if is a fake news or montage, but is work very well doed, congratulations for the creators this fuc* very fuc👏👏👏👏
Hi great project. May I know how many steps or how long before it lose its repeatability?
Someday this will jump, run faster than a human, climb walls or even fly...
And then new terminator dark fate
Will rise
To hunt down humans
@@vikrantbagde612 well that was a bit of a change
And will have a turret on it's back.
Flying spiders🤔
I’m working on a jumping one now actually lol
excellent!!!!
Nice Project where you get those M1 screw ?
Amazing
INTERESSANTE
1:20 challenge mode is cool.
Cool spider
Great idea. I made an error about the library when compiling with the Arduino ide. Is this related to the software.
So you are including all informations in the description needed to build same?
Fantástico....
👍👍 very good
Could you recommand any 3D design software which is easy to start with for beginner? Thanks!
as cool as it is when rc driving your supposed to imagine yourself driving the the body seems to go for a smooth ride but could be smoother
Shoot now I want this as a toy
Hello, will there be possibilities to see somewhere the complete assembly, especially the electronic boards? - Congratulations for the project, I thought it was excellent.
Maybe it is jusy an animation .
Did you make it just for fun or is it in combination with your studies or something similar?
Do you have a parts list? screw sizes and quantities, type of servo (they look like MG90s), is it Arduino.
super cool
Thanks!
Just one more question, my friend. Are you using a joystick or cell phone to control the robot?
7697 has BLE, so it can be controlled by any phone with BT (I used iPhone 8 plus)
@@smallptsai Friend, how it is controlled on phone with BT? Is there any application installed on phone?
@@Mr.HulkIN Yes, I am using the official iOS App provided by Linkit 7697, it is called "Linkit Remote", see docs.labs.mediatek.com/resource/linkit7697-arduino/en/developer-guide/using-linkit-remote for more detail
What type of servo do you use?
I want to control it via RC controller and a receiver, is there any controller or code to use for this purpose, maybe arduino?
Thank's
Great!!!
Nice dance moves.
Where I can find app Android for control this hexapod robot thanks..
O.M.G - Super
How will be the cost for 3d printing?
Hi, I´m trying to build a pod based on your design. Can I exchange the linkit 7697 with an arduino + BLE shield? Because I got a spare arduino getting dusty around here.
Can u imagine that this robot run fast and then attack the terrorists quickly its fantastic
Good robot
Hello ! Really nice 👍 do you share a diy info somewhere ?
"Oooh a VERY sassy robot." - Ryan George. Probably.
were you got the musik from (2:00Min) ?
Hi , thanks for the project . i have aproblem, the hexpapod start to move but after some seconds stop, i need to swith off and on for restart, but same problem after a few seconds. can you suggest me a way to solve? thanks a lot
Hello my friend, great work. I have the Linklt 7688 board. Is it possible to replace the 7697 with it?
No, because 7688 does not have BLE
Cool.
Which servo are you using, this is great job.
Hi, it's towerpro MG92b, you can visit my github page for more detail (how I get them) github.com/SmallpTsai/hexapod-v2-7697/blob/master/mechanism/BOM.md
@@smallptsai great thanks hope you good luck.
Hi, the Linkit is not available anymore :( do you know a similar one ?
Imagine longer legs with 1 more servo per leg. It would be more like a spider and less like a turtle, could fall over and flip right back over on its own
Hi, I teach robotics to 14 years old children and they want to make a hexapod. Do you think we can use another board with the same code as you use? Your Linkit 7697 board is way over budget for us. We have arduino and raspberry pi. Do you think it can work?
Can this be done with raspberry pi zero instead of Linkit 7697
Hello. Could you help me. I don't understand about "Hello. i don't understand about "There is 1 difference between left and right PCB. The SJ1 of right PCB is left open, but SJ1 of left PCB should be closed. (This is i2c address setting of PCB9865)". what need to put there in board?". what need to put there in board?
Hi, there
There are 2 PCB part (main and sub), you need 1 main and 2 sub to form one hexapod.
Check the sub PCB, there is a connector marked SJ1. on one of the sub PCB you need to solder them together (closed)
Can I use ESP32 module instead of linkit 7697??
Hello my friend. Thanks again for replying. Yes, I downloaded the folder, but I don't know how to insert the Python code in LinkIt, that is, in the Arduino IDE. I'm not really understanding how to do this. It's because I don't know how to program, but I really want to do this project. Please my friend, help me please.
добавь ИК датчиков и сделай, чтобы он сам определял высоту и подымался или опускался.
Респект
Can you plzzz make a video of full assembly of this robot including code and control too
Is that arduino? And how & where can learn make like this?
hello. It is like really good. i want to make one . could i use the servo SG90?
Yes or No, the 3d model will need a little adjust because the dimension of SG90 and MG92b is not the same. Besides, SG90 has little torque and may cause slower movement.
Hexapod v2.1 isn't real, it can't hurt you.
Hexapod v2.1 :
What servo motor are you using?
Hi, it's towerpro MG92b, you can visit my github page for more detail (how I get them) github.com/SmallpTsai/hexapod-v2-7697/blob/master/mechanism/BOM.md
Which is the control board?
Woow Amazing...
Can it run on pure arduino + servo controller??
Yes or no. linkit 7697 (current in use) has BLE, so if you can use a arduino and BLE shield it might be possible.
