2 guitars. Period. James, lead vocals / rhythm guitar, Kirk Hammet, lead guitar. James can also play lead so you hear dual lead playing in many songs. James also plays lead in many of their songs. EVERY song they record is played live the SAME way. No dubbing on recordings. This band is legendary!

You should totally react to Alice In Chains, their singer Layne Staley was one of the greatest vocalists ever. I recommend "Man In The Box - Alice In Chains live at The Moore".
I would recommend Bleed the Freak or Love, Hate, Love at that show to show the voice off more.
Long intros, even with short songs, are common for Metallica. Check out "Master of Puppets" "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" "For Whom the Bell Tolls" "Creeping Death" "One" "The Four Horsemen" "...And Justice for All" for good examples of long intros. Metallica is a trip you need to take!

Fade to Black is a phenomenal ballad of depression. Despite its depressing nature, it actually has helped those contemplating suicide, to not go through with it.
