  • This Chain Scrunchie is easy to make! It uses the most basic stitches. All you need is scrap yarn and a rubber band and with the video tutorial for the chain scrunchie you're sure to crochet one in no time!
    I like summer, but with it comes heat! Which can make it hard to crochet big projects. So I look for nice quick crochet projects that you can use cooler softer yarn on. This got me thinking about hair accessories.

    slip stitch into the beginning stitch and cut your yarn leaving a tail to be worked into the project.

      Agreed, too fast for a tutorial. I can tell what she is doing because I’m an experienced crocheter. If I was new, this would confuse me.

    Is there a written pattern to print off? I work around food, and prefer to make my own scruchies since they last longer :). These are adorable!

      if you highlight the page and paste it to NOTEPAD it removes all the pictures just leaving the text which then can be printed

    Do you really have to use 8 ply yarn? Can't you use 4 ply? If not, how much is 8 ply yarn?

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  10 років тому +3

      3 ply for the US, the thinner yarn is better to use than the 4ply worsted weight yarn, because it's not as stiff and you can make the chains a lot more easily.

    I've never heard the word "connection" when crocheting. Video is upside down. Yarn is dark, hard you see what you're doing. You go so fast, you're zipping through the stitches and can't see anything. I'm sure it's just me for the most part. Tired and eyes wanna close. I'll watch it again for the 5th time. Sooner or later, I'll catch on. 😴😴

    I think your going way too fast and not showing it that good where your slip stitching each of the ch 10's... I can crochet pretty good, but not an expert, and I think if you slowed down, and zoomed in to where your connecting the slip stitches it would help immensely. I crochet fast, but when showing how to make something like this you need to slow down a bit in my opinion especially for beginners...They look awesome when done!

      This was filmed back in 2012 with a web cam and the quality was just not there. Before smart phones too! I really should re film this one. :)

    Its a SINGLE stitch; a double stitch. NOT A SINGLE CROCHET, OR DOUBLE CROCHET.
    uuuggggg!!!!
