"Melanie" - Michael Auble

"Melanie" was written, recorded, and released during the unending awfulness that was the Summer of 2020; in that time, I organized a fateful show here in my backyard with my friends using the very trailer I'm sitting on as a makeshift stage. While I don't actually know anyone named Melanie personally, this song has always held a special place for me within the chronology of my own catalogue. It never fails to remind me of the swirling heat, cacophony, anger, and uncertainty of that crucial turning point in my life.
