Production log:
To document the construction progress of the bamboo theatre structure, went to PO TOI Island 6 times in the past 4 weeks. Every time, I would take the earliest 8:15am ferry from Aberdeen to Po Toi on Sunday and spend roughly 1.5 hours getting all the aerial and stills shot. I would then return to the pier to take the 10:45am ferry back to Stanley.
There was 1 morning, I was a bit too into the shooting and landed by drone at 10:40am which then I had to run to catch the 10:45am ferry, which was memorable. (the next ferry that leaves Po Toi would be 3pm)
There's another morning in which I know the weather will get tough later during the day, but I want to take my chances. I woke up that day and there was no rain, so I decided to go anyway to try my luck. So as usual, took the morning ferry and arrived on the island, shot all my stuff and as the ferry was heading back to Stanley, it started pouring rain with thunderstorms. But luckily, I am already safe and dry, having breakfast at McDonald's.
