i was blessed that i could live in Hong Kong for 2 years... I love it and miss it so.... LIVE LONG HONG KONG...
Born and raised in HK. Lived abroad in different countries for over 25 years but always managed to come back twice a year, except during the pandemic. Finally moved back for good last year and feel grateful everyday for our beautiful, efficient, diversified, dynamic … and comparatively safe city. No place on earth is perfect. HK is still the best place … at least to me. ❤
@dimsumyen4034
I visit HK and lived there for about 4 months with my family in 1976. I was 10 years old at that time. And visit HK again in 1984 for several days. Because all the good childhood memories when I live there, until now I love HK and still want to visit HK again someday..
Although Hong Kong still remains one of the most global cities. Hong Kong is not what it was earlier. The increased influence of China over the region has led many businesses shift to Singapore and UAE, Hong King is one of the countries who is experiencing a Wealth migration, High Net Worth individuals are leaving in record high numbers. The city also opened late after pandemic causing it to suffer with many losses in the Tourism, Airline and Hospitality sectors.
Im from Mexico. I visited HK in 2013 and love it. When you came form a place with so many problems this place looks like paradise. Protect your home, protect your freedom and don't let politics divide you.
saludos.
HK a paradise? LOL. I know exactly how you felt when I moved from HK to Shenzhen.
@@yausamuel1858 compared to Mexico, yes
@@yausamuel1858 You obviously can't understand English, read again. "When you come from a place with so many problems". No one said it looked like paradise on its own, but compared to many places in the world like Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia, and Honduras, or others, it seems like a beautiful place.
Thank you mate!
I´m also from México and visited HK in 2018 and even though the city is amazing and unique in the world i find it to be far from a paradise, the city is very expensive and the departments are very small, i could not live in this conditions, that mexican must have really hard conditions.
love Hong Kong, it is an amazing city offering the best of the east and west cultures.

Hong Kong elders know what's the right side to stay with, while hong Kong college students are just western kids who support colonizers
I had been once in HK, and it's far the best travel I've ever had.I love this place, I wish that I could go there one more time.
Love Hong Kong .Inspite of a shortage of space and having one of the highest densities of population most of HK is incredibly clean and well maintained .Public transportation is efficient and cheap, only accomodation is costly . They have managed to incorporate many green spaces which are great places to relax and chill out .Lantau and the New Territories offer many options for a quick getaway .
Where is Lantau? Is it an island in Hong kong? Where are the cheaper places to live in Honk Kong for people like me ( foreigners) like me from the United States of America?
@@iamtam9491 The cheap accomodations in Hong Kong for foreigners can be found at chungking building.
@@iamtam9491 It can be a bit confusing because 'Hong Kong' consists of nominally consists of 4 terriorities - 1. Hong Kong Island (VERY expensive) 2. Kowloon (expensive) 3. New Territories (cheaper but far) and Lantau Island + outlying Islands, which there are like hundreds (cheapest)
Depends on where you're working in HK imo. A cheap place to stay can be in one of the outlying islands such as Cheung Chau and Peng Chau islands, which are about a 30-1hr boat ride to the main business and shopping district Central and Tsim Sha Tsui respectively. They also tend to be less crowded and claustrophobic than living in the city proper. Plus its muuuccchh cheaper to rent there!
true
Hello! I’m sick about Hong Kong, been there just before the pandemics. Is it difficult for a foreigner working in IT to get a permanent job in HK?
Truly admired the way the host narrates on places visited..unrehearsed.More channels to watch & appreciate.Thank you.
This is one of the best videos in the city. I have been living here for almost 18 years and the city has seen a lot of transformation. There are more beautiful green spaces and scenery in islands like Cheung Chau,Peng Chau and Lantau island. The climate is almost mild all year with a very short winter. Let's hope the political climate will improve and the pandemic will pass away so that the city recovers its splendor.

Thank you for the video! It’s awesome! I left HK since 1994 when it was the prime time. This video has brought me back so many memories...I miss HK!
Hong-Kong was my favourite posting, I was lucky enough to live there three times, once as a child of four when my father was stationed there and twice when I was a soldier, first in the early '70's and last in the late '80's. I absolutely loved it. Watching the video made me wish I was there, though it has changed obviously after 30 years. I've had some great food in the walled city and in Chung King mansions. I love HK

I miss Hong Kong 🥺. Stayed there for 2 years and the time there was just awesome. Probably the best days of my life.❤️❤️
So where are you now ?
@@appleoranges9772 Well my work at HK got over, so I returned to India. Now looking for next opportunity in UK once this pandemic related travel ban is over.

I love the flag of 🇭🇰 HONG KONG
I agree
yeah, i've lived there for 12 years and i agree with you
This is the best summary of Hong Kong I’ve seen. I have been living in Hk for 5 years now And there are lots that i agree with. Thank you for this.
Having lived in Hong Kong for almost 20 years, I've witnessed how the city was before the handover to China to how it was several years ago, the rate of progress this city went through continues to astound me. Due to the high cost of living, people are very pragmatic and in general, get to the point in their communication.
The superb public transportation makes it possible to schedule lots more meetings in a day compared to other cities in Asia. This totally raises the productivity for entrepreneurs, especially those involved in sales. The level of professionalism in the financial services industry is probably the highest in Asia too.
Hong Kong is also a foodie's paradise.
What is your opinion of the protests?
How exactly do u witness the handover when u only live there for ALMOST 20 years... it’s been 23 years since the handover dude. Quick math.
@Danny dragon Who starts the violence first, excuse me? How much do you know the timeline of the whole movement?
@Danny dragon ya if u group "HK" police as Hong Kongeese, that's true.
