Not going to fool me anymore with hoyo basic writing, hoyo had a great start story wise, and now it's so draggy I even skip the dialogue in some part, 80% filler 20% real story, the good writing is in world quest
@@melvin91motorolaI don't think this can get more wrong. Genshins story at the beginning was pure mid. Mondstatdt was just save the city from a dragon. Liyue felt like a fetching quest 💀. I won't talk about Inazuma. Sumeru is where it started getting good. And Fontaine was definitely genshins peak.

It wasn't as slow at the start, because they had it thought out already, now they need more time for writing it out as they haven't written the full story beforehand.

@@theboi9382I get the sense that the Fatui as an organization are rather ruthless. If a child can do missions because less people would assume a child to commit crimes then I think the Fatui would use this option. The house of the hearth is an orphanage but to the Fatui (the organization not arlecchino herself) the kids are future soldiers. In Arlecchino’s eyes she probably feels as though the children without the orphanage would have far more grim fates, unfortunately accidents might happen where the kids don’t make it back from some missions.

i like how her last enemy for the showcase of skills and atk movements was Khaenriah cursed soldier... what a subtle reference.
Apparently in Khaenriah there was a Dynasty called “The Crimson Moon Dynasty” and Arlecchino has smth to do with the Crimson moon cause it’s in her Q and in the cutscene of her boss form

I noticed some cool details about this demo, namely the children singing at 1:48 are each from a different nation. The back row left to right is probably Inazuma, Liyue?, Snezhnaya?, and Mondstadt, and the front row left to right is probably Natlan, Fontaine, Khaenri'ah?, and Sumeru. This probably reflects the children that Arlecchino takes in but also symbolizes the 8 nations. The black dust that envelops them could represent the cataclysm It's also interesting to note that at 1:27 we only see 7 children running along when there is 8 in the choir, which could allude to the surviving 7 nations of the cataclysm or the 7 nations that worship an archon.
interesting thing to note is how she fight a Black Serpent Knight, because Crimson Moon dynasty fought with the Eclipse dynasty

For anyone wondering what the text flashing across the screen says at 0:44 , It's just the words the voice is saying in the Fontaine alphabet. I went through the painstaking process of translating it just to realize halfway through it was the same thing being said onscreen.

@@chelo136 Yeah because Genshin is dead-set on using actual gameplay in the trailers and the environment and the animation are just not as detailed as they could be when they would decide to make it just for the trailer. The normal attacks just take out a lot of velocity from the trailer imo

idk the reference behind Arlecchino walking in the cathedral since i never encountered her or the House of the Hearth being mentioned in Mondstadt, but i love that she's in specific locations in Inazuma and Sumeru as callbacks to certain world quests that either mentioned/referenced her or the House ❣️

they light up the darkness to keep you safe from what lurks in the shadows
and they keep you safe and warm
and while she will also keep them safe
she'll also teach them to fight the darkness
and to be their own light
essentially a large group of infiltrators and assassins instead of the old way of the best of each generation
well, since 4.6 trailer, I think we know that she intended to step down and let Lyney take the role

Alreccino on the other hand wants to train the children to fight and fend for themselves such that when they leave they wont rely on her...dayum a true father...

They managed to build up the same kind of hype for a character as they did for Raiden. She seems so unfathomably strong that I'm actually scared shitless having to fight her in the story as I was for Raiden too. That's how it should be.
Ironically I found this trailer just as bad as Raiden's. It was so busy being flashy and cool it didn't really do much for the character. The transitions felt disjointed and weird. Overall, like Raiden's, I found the trailer decent to mid.

@@nekuro3355 well I like to think that humans are born survivors not to mention we don't even know the size of Khanreiah so when the cataclysm disaster arrived chances are it didn't really destroy 100% of it but just made a dent

This is probably one of most visually stunning demos hoyo have released. Can't wait too see what top 3 Fatui Harbingers demos will look like in future.
Hoyo has released in general? It does not even come close to the Penacony character trailers though. Acheron's and Sparkle's is still the most visually stunning. Even Black Swan's and Aventurine's is better. Although in terms of genshin char trailers, yeah they improved with their trailers with Arle.

One thing i noticed is that she's sitting atop a throne, and then it turns ruined, where she then proceeds to fight various Empire Styled enemies (Desert, Khaenri'ah, Shogun).

The story also says that not a single tree grew on the earth, which would make lighting a fire in the first place kind of difficult.
Fun fact: In Lyney's teaser and Lynette's demo, the moon was emphasized. It feels like a hint towards their father's acossiation to the moon.
Also at 1:48 they are all kids from different regions because the Hearth takes kids from around the world

There's no liyue ever seen in the entire thing though, not in the beginning when she's in different nations, nor when the children are singing.

The transitions at the beginning were so cool!! Mondstadt cathedral to Inazuma outdoors to Sumeru desert to a seat in the Opera House to that throne- each one was seamless! And the music was just. Wow.

folks, i am pleased to announce that as an f2p, i have successfully acquired both arle and her weapon within 65 pulls!! she was guaranteed but i got incredibly lucky getting her on 35 pity and decided to use the rest on the weapon banner and managed to get it :D arle's scythe is my first signature 5 star weapon and i couldn't be happier :) i hope that everyone who wants arle/lyney and their weapons has the same luck i did!!
