ADC tier list for next patch gonna be Ziggs Syndra Vlad Seraphine Lux in S tier
Mages are hit hard aswell, especially with the lack of ability haste. They now cant burst oneshot as good with the AP nerfs and now they lack consistent dps with high cds. ADCs having good consistent dps will make them the most reliable source of damage next split I think

But remember! 93% WR Cloud Soul is very balanced! Instead, let's nerf items, they are a bigger problem. It's not that, you know, once your support looses half their HP lvl 1 you loose lane, jungler dies on top scuttler (classic) and you loose game. 2 roles have control over a 93% WR Soul point, let that sink in. Absolutely asinine.

Can't wait to see more and more people realize that APCs are better than Adcs in soloQ. It used to be one Zigs/Swain every 200 games, now it's every 5 or 6. A-sol and Hwei now joined the group. Umbearable. Fleet sustain is non-existant,
They've been actively trying to kill the ADC role for a long time. Literally putting assassin ADC's in against classic ADCs as if intentionally placing the direct counter to the role in that lane on purpose wasn't shit for anyone who enjoyed the classic ADC playstyle. Adding stupid mobility everywhere except on ADCs, unless they're diver/assassin ADC's, in which case give them so much they can literally run you down the whole lane while barely needing to actually walk, or making tanks so brokenly tanky that they can not only dive you with built in mobility but just walk through your whole team to 1 shot you so your only option is to back up to the point you're forcing your team into a 4v5 if you want to survive at all. Game used to be good, but it's gone to shit, and the dogshit community and 1v9 mentality the game now promotes has made ADC such a horrible role to main that you've got to be masochistic to play it.

the thing is they can't buff mobility that much because some adc have so much of it it would be too strong, e.g jhin jinx... ms bonuses stacking up too much. Sad reality can't just nerf mobility for those adc and buff items because its too much work for riot balance team... I also like how they wanna buff HP items but we ADC have only one option and that is botrk against it... not saying that this item doesn't work well on many adcs... Sad reality but on hit mega is coming...
@@ovelion5559 I haven’t played in quite a while, but even when I was on hit was my preferred playstyle, it felt much better than crit. That being said, I think the issues go beyond any of that and down to core gameplay. ADC is an important role, but is extremely team reliant. If your team all just wanna dive in and go for flashy plays, there’s nothing you can do and nobody to keep you safe while you do your job, deal damage from a safe range. ADC is a role that is made for team play, but LoL simply isn’t a team game any more. I would have people literally type in chat “ADC isn’t a carry role” in both norms and ranked. And that’s how the game has fallen outside of pro play, roles only determine where you spend the first 5 minutes of the game, team play is inconsequential and it’s only random luck which results in semi-coordinated team play. Go back 5-10 years ago and people would actively flex their picks for team comp and damage spread, now it’s “who can lock in their 1v9 wannabe carry and will anyone actually flex their picks for damage spread or are we going 5AD/AP and being crippled by a single item”.
All of that to say, they need to move items back to character archetypes, so that items reinforce roles, not just give slightly different levels of tankiness or mobility while making every character a damage dealer.
nerfing items especially adc items is screwing adc up even more than other roles because adcs are so behind in levels already, making the game less item reliant is making it so adcs in particular (and junglers) are going to feel even worse vs solo laners who are higher in levels regardless of how much gold you get. It's going to be a rough time.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that tanks are going to be "in".
In general, I don't like when changes pull too many levers. Nerfing damage - directly, through things like the AD decrease on IE, or indirectly through reducing ability haste or increasing cost - is not a bad idea.
So why not just start there? See what it does to the meta, then decide if you want to increase durability?
Seems kind of heavy handed to nerf damage and increase durability.
Side note, maybe Singed top 60% winrate after these changes? :D
as long as they actively adjust things in the weeks after the patch im okay with it. but if broken or underwhelming shit stays for month its just feelsbad
All of this is also going to slow the game and make Smolder and other passive scalers stronger lmao. Also they said that "divers and juggernaut" items were balanced so that they are considerably beefier than other classes, however, since base damage is a thing in the game we will have beefy and strong frontliners that deal the same amount of damage as before (which is not to underestimate) and the counterparts will deal less damage to them because of the nerfs; these tanky champs are also the ones that gain the most out of level differences, making it all the more harder for squishy champions in the mid game (especially adcs and mage supports because of the exp sharing). I guess it's time for tanks to take over the game
The items didn’t even feel strong in the first place. All ADC items now feel like crap, kraken sucks because of nerfs, shiv just sucks as an item, botrk got nerfed too much, IE is just lmao, crit feels like piss on most ADCs, the list goes on. Bot lane is going to be filled with mages or double supports.
when an entire class is about buying items to be able to be stronger than eveyone rlse, nerfing items hits that class extra hard. Rip adc

I should remember that durability patch 12.10 buffed adcs the most... So getting nerfed now since damage perspective is the compensation which already tanky champs needed before.

Good thing they arent. 2% pickrates with sub 50% winrates across the board doesn't make for a viabke pick.

toplaners will always be faster from adcs and midlaners will always keep oneshotting adcs and jnglers will always get easiest ganks on adcs done
If tanks are stronger, consistent damage dealers are stronger too. I don’t think it’s an adc nerf, for example it’s probably a buff for vayne/kog.

I don't know if it's going to be that bad to be honest. Almost all items are getting nerfed and less damage being in the game overall together with tanks being meta is usually pretty good for adcs. Usually. It might be complete piss, but if that's the case, I doubt that it'll take long for them to bring it back to where it should be (hopefully).
And here comes the tank meta, thanks a lot for ruining the game even more than before Riot.

I just saw all the changes and I just wonder how is that fair. Literally every role exept adc items are getting some compensation, but adc items don't. Also tank items are most of the times getting nerfed by 5 flat armor, while ad pene items are getting nerfed by 5%. That is joke lol

But you needed huge nerfs. I got auto'd by a 3 item aphelios today (3 lvls down and 1 item down) hitting me for 820 with 1 rightclick. Even a dodgeable mage spell wouldnt do that much, surely doing 35% of someones hp with 1 rightclick with no counterplay is not ok no?
aphelios is an special case, since he instead of extra power in his abilities, get extra stats with every level

Came here to say that. when adcs can fill all 5 roles and have little counter play its needed.

ADCs complaining about adc state when the fucking meta has ADCs in every single fucking role except jungle. Ad is still the most impactful role in the game the nefs they received are on par with every other class but tanks and emchanters. All of the champions have stupid amounts of base health and, quite literally, every available tool to survive.
(Some exceptions like Kog, a gun strapped to a rock, exist, but the point still stands, and his mains aren't complaining)

Friendly reminder that IE in 14.19 is still stronger than it was in 10.23.
Also, in Season 8, IE was 3700 gold and built out of two BFS.
In 5.22 IE was 3600 gold and only gave 65 AD.
The original IE was 4080 gold.
People are way over reacting to the IE nerf. The item was objectively too strong this split.
I think comparing prices and stats by season is not how you should look about the situation. Reminder that every season also has different items and we're currently in a season where other items are stronger on average than they were let's say on season 10.
The bigger issue here is that botlane crit champs have been weak (see Jhin/MF/Ziggs/Karthus etc.) , so this IE nerf just completely kills ADC and you might aswell just pick a damn Hwei and clear waves lmao
friendly reminder that crit used to be 200% not 175% in those ancient times so u really cant justify this in any way
