I also went to request body camera footage, see if the Mayor would speak to me & peacefully exercise my 1st Amendment Right. The follow up videos aren't very exciting, no. But still interesting. It makes me angry to see people getting screwed sideways and then there's no accountability. To me that just emboldens the bad behavior for there to be zero repercussions. You're doing the right thing. Following up with action gives you even more credibility. Don't let the government tread on us! Most of us don't have the backbone to do what you do. It's scary to stand up against the government.

great job. OSHA needs to go, they extort money from hard working American businesses for job site safety violations and without probable cause can go on any jobsite in the USA to look for violations. If you refuse to let osha on your jobsite, they will call a judge to get a warrant and come back with the US Marshalls. Just look what almost happened with the vaccine mandate for businesses with over 100 employees. Thank GOD the the Supreme Court shot it down.

Sean is doing an incredible job, but he can't make change to the whole counrty all by himself. Thats why we all need to hold our government accountable and follow in Sean's footsteps so that we can make a change in all of our cities and states. Sean does such an amazing job, that the police are even having him come in to train them. That says a whole hell of alot! Just imagine if we all did our part, the change we could all make together would be huge!
Sean, I’m sure that the sergeant and the two police officers had to write statements/Incident reports in regards to what occurred. You may want to get your hands on those reports as well if you haven’t already. I would love to hear the lies they have all compiled. I really had no idea my lack of education of my rights . i found this guy two days ago and iv already learned so much and realized how many times iv had my rights violated and got treated like a criminal without even committing a crime let alone even being suspected of one . i have always just attempted to avoid cops for this reason BUT now im learning what i can say to stand up for my self during unacceptable interactions such as these

I really wish I new a lot of this info ten years ago when a group of officers violated my rights and intimidated my and my children were traumatized between the police and cps they caused so much trama in me and my kids all for no reason at all. They got mad that I wasn't a druggie like they thought and took advantage of the fact that I was a single young mom that had my own home and they thought I had to be doing something bad to be able to have the home I had. I ended up moving away just to avoid any further embarrassment and issues. But now I wish I had stayed and fought. Thank you for all the info because I'll never let them intimate me ever again!!! You must be a terrible lawyer because no rights were violated. The Sgt making a joke about the youtube channel, you should know doesn't break any laws, and I can guarantee broke no administrative rules. Unless there is video of cops cursing or threatening him, I support Sean and this channel. But I actually give ,HONEST feedback to keep Sean on track and not lose sight of the channels purpose. It's what makes Sean's channel different then the morons working down in the Florida area.

The only difference is that dogs show remorse when they get caught.
But, if your dog ate the Milk Bones he would maybe think he did something wrong not being told he could have them. Cops learn nothing not have enough ethics to even think they did something wrong. If the complaint is ever brought up to the offending cop,it will be just a formality . The cop will get a hand slap and it will be forgotten and the cops behavior will not change

That’s why I’m now suggesting that all complaints being filed happen at open public meetings so ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS that sit in that meeting are fully aware of complaints against public employees(particularly cops)and if they don’t act on the complaints, THEY are also held accountable. No more “this is the first I’m hearing about this”excuse. Every elected member gets handed a copy of a complaint. How they act is up to them after that. The police investigating themselves has to become a thing of the past.

One of my favorite things about this channel is seeing the follow up, and holding tyrants accountable. Other channels, you see peoples rights violated, but most times you dont see the officers have to be accoumtable for what they have done. Sean is by far the best, I watched other audits but they are just not up to Sean's level. Sean takes you on the journey with him through the whole process even trials. Someone needs to give him a Joe Rogan type platform where he can make the changes he wants

The female seems to not understand the limits of a Terry stop. Get the book--May It Please The Court which addresses many of the major cases of our life times. Read Terry v Ohio. You will see this case does not permit many actions of police we see on the "tube'. Over time the technical aspects of the judgement are forgotten or warped by errors of personal interpretation The "pat down" may only extend to OUTER clothing--not the quick "slap and squeeze"---then deep into pockets we see on TV and the "tube". Absent intervention from knowledgeable superior officers the street level officer will slide further and further from the proper operation of the case law to the point you see here.

Every single member of staff in that city has had an email this week along the lines of..... "If you see Sean Paul Reyes with a camera you be on your very best behaviour or you lose your job!"

Sadly the email would have been more like, “If you see Sean Paul Reyes, be on your best behavior, but don’t worry, he’ll be gone soon and we can go back to normal before long. Don’t worry, we’ll be violating rights again in short order.👍”

I've seen some audits where the auditors were very rude and disrespectful and basically pushed for an altercation. Thanks for showing this. I was amazed that the detectives you spoke to immediately handed you the forms you requested, gave you every opportunity to ask questions, and answered the ones you had. No one seemed to try to hide anything, and took you seriously. I am seriously impressed by how GOOD those cops and office personnel seemed to be. I mean seriously... I am amazed at how good they all were. We need to see much more of this.

When I called the RPD and mentioned that Sargent's name, immediately dispatch said that the situation is under investigation.
I fully understand that everyone was on high alert that Sean was coming. Why they aren't trained to act this way towards the public AT ALL TIMES befuddles me. It doesn't seem to be that hard for them to be human. This is how every municipality and public servant should be!
My guess is that it's because it makes their job easier. If they request ID and most people comply without a reason why follow the rules when doing so makes their job harder.

It’s scary when they don’t know the definition of public versus private property. Equally scary is saying “they (dmv) don’t want you here”. That’s fine and they are entitled to that view. But it doesn’t supersede law and rights. Hate to use this analogy but the Nazis also followed a view of not wanting certain people around. Just horrible.

i doubt that happened that LT rank officer was proffesional due to the fact hes in the stationhouse all day and has no stress and is mandated under his job title to report back to internal affairs no matter what! hes not the one in trouble so why would he give attitude at all and second thats part of his job to take complaints or public reports

@@brianloy7856 County cops might've brought someone in specifically for this case. Seems like the change in staff was very intentional and this guy was breifed and even specifically stated who the last unknown officer was. Doubtful local cops would fold that easily on their own, they acted like they did to Sean because they've gotten away with it in the past.
When you read that plaque in the lobby, my brain couldn't decide if it wanted to scream in anger or cry in despair. Everything in their "Police Code of Ethics" is exactly what the Rahway officers did NOT do.

I live in Rahway. I have come in contact with officer Maloney a few times. She is very abusive of her power. The entire town knows it too.

I know it's easier said than done because auditing or any activism is quite dangerous, but you could be that person.
While your follow-up videos aren't as action packed as your initial audit videos, I find them just as exciting because we get to see the fruits of your labors!

So, I'm about halfway through this video and it *appears* that this police station is on their best behavior. Not sure if that has something to do with the 1000's of calls, messages, emails that they received because of their officer's lack of professionalism and knowledge of basic law. But this is the type of behavior and reception the public should receive during all police encounters.

"We've investigated our own and have found no wrongdoing" Imagine having a job where you can be so wrong about what you and your colleagues are saying and doing, to the point of possibly ending someone's life, and being able to walk away free. Even if they're fired, another low life PD will pick them up as an employee. End qualified immunity, make each officer to pay out of their own pockets, and require bodycams to be on 24/7 with no mute button or ability for it to be redacted.

That's a big problem with qualified Immunity because when lawsuits are successful against most Leo's they don't pay any money damages from their own money. It's a catch 22 because if qualified Immunity were for the most part abolished then very very few people would want to be a police officer. No easy answer.

Great deed with the follow up. You and Jeff, with "honor your oath" are some of the few that follows up with official complaints and lawsuits. Many times the complaint process turns into another unbelievable video. Often times IA is exposed as nothing more than a CYA section of the department.
