Thanks for this guide, my final two achievements for TR1! In Natla's mines you can skip the section where you have to move the boat if you simply jump from where those barrels are onto the slope (visible at 2:05:50 to Lara's right), grab and shimmy sideways towards the area with the moveable crates and pull up. You can also avoid triggering Kid if you run to the left opening to the skate arena, jump to the right (Lara jumps in place) then jump forwards into the room hugging the wall, he be inactive if you cross the threshold in this manner.
@@zelgadis115 I've learnt a lot of things myself that I never knew about these games since the remasters, the diagonal jump into movable crates to bypass them is so clutch, I had no idea that was possible!
Awsome guide my friend. Im literally following along everything your doing. But im confused. Isnt the hard boiled achievnent not to use any med packs at all, yet you used 2 in Natlas mines. I have not watched the full video yet, so if you explain this i apoligise lol 👍
Happy to hear it helps! The no medpacks achievement is called Hardy Raider (similar to Hard Boiled), that's something I unlocked in my 1st playthrough of TR I Remastered you can find on my channel. This video is dedicated just to Hard Boiled (pistols only) and I Only Play For Sport (under 5 hours) achievements. I consider combining these 2 and keeping the rest sepparate to be the most fun way to tackle this.
Thanks to your walkthrough, i managed to do those two achievements and the one for all the kills in one playthrough ( because of that damn debbuged bat in colosseum ) Thanks for the shoutout btw ! I always a couple of things in one of my favorite game of all time. I'm doing the achievements for TR:UB and i think that Gifts of Wonderland and Bastet's stash are buggy and undoable at the moment. Can you guys confirm me this ?

I have yet to play UB on PS5, GoG and Steam. I was hoping this would be resolved with patch 1.02, but if you say it's not, I hope the next patch will take care of that before I'll reqch Temple of the Cat in my LP
I didn't realise I had subtitles activated (No Idea why they were in the first place...). Suddenly the video had 'oh' and 'ah' written in it. I'm proud to be able to explain that it was the translation of Laras moaning or grunting sounds she makes from time to time. 🤣🤣
Funny to recall this, my very first attempt of beating Torso was actually with pistols only. Not because I was so good at this game, but because I was cursed with "save for later, never use it" approach in many games back then. I basically was afraid to spend too much of precious ammo. I failed, of course, and because the boss seemed "immune" to pistols, I switched to uzis. Too bad we had no visual clues on boss health in original TR series. BTW Is it possible to ignore Natla fight completely and just go for level exit? I mean, technically at least. She seems too aggressive and powerful in first phase, to allow player to do required acrobatics.
I believe it should be theoretically possible to ignore her and just slide to victory, however her fireballs would make it almost impossible feat. Perhaps in the 2nd stage of the bossfight where she fires bone shards, you will no longer get knocked down
Could you please do a playthrough of Tomb Raider III in Remastered for the “Incredibly Hard Boiled” achievement as well? I’ve beaten TR3 twice making Lara only use her dual pistols but “Incredibly Hard Boiled” didn’t unlock either time for some reason.
It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that this Achievement doesn't work :( Did you try after the most recent patch 1.03? At any rate, I'll definitely be tackling it once I'll work my way through TR II and Golden Mask Let's Plays :)
That's odd, I'm not aware of this. I know there are 2 unobtainable Large Medpacks behind the door that will never open at 02:24:22 According to what you say, it seems the new patch again messed up the pickups count for Atlantis

Speed running Altlantis and Great pyramid levels were what I liked the most. It’s fun to beat them this way.

Hmm actually for some reason there's one medpack left in ng+ Atlantis as of patch 2. I'm not aware of how to pick it up if it's even possible
