Just curious about you opinion and the results of what maybe a simple strategy. So, I'm thinking 10 and 4 only have 2 possible rolls, so if you get 10 or 4 you have a 50/50 shot of it being the doubles 5/5 and 2/2.. This being so what would happen if you played only the field and the hard 10 and the hard 4. The field would cover either 10 or 4 if you lost in the hard but you maintain a 50/50 shot of winning the 10 or 4 in the hard. I am totally green. As you can tell by my lingo. But I am curious about your thoughts and wonder how this would play out.
Bet the iron cross every time tonight (minus missing a few field bets because I was distracted by how much I was winning). Turned $200 into $1,100 with $50 going to the dealer and $25 going towards another gambler that had a hot dice hand. The strategy works if deployed correctly. Excellent video Color Up! Thank you!
I love that you have a table and do mock rolls using the strategies. Makes it so much easier to understand than just listening to someone trying to explain it.
The catch is "except for the seven". Just have fun losing or better yet, winning. Set an amount that you can afford to lose as the price of entertainment and quit anytime you are ahead unless you haven't had enough entertainment. The casino will eventually win if you keep playing. The trick is quit while you are ahead, but only after you had enough fun.
Yeah, "every roll you win money except [the most common roll]" is a pretty big "except"... That said, I usually do pass+odds and 2 come+odds which of course is a negative EV (as is everything at the craps table) so it's all a matter of how you can mitigate losses and take advantage of wins.
That's the hardest part. I literally win everytime I play craps. Problem is its within the first hour of the first night of a whole weekend and I didn't set aside a whole night or weekend for just an hour
Omaha! X1, I know what you mean. It’s hard to walk when you are so early into your trip or even the day. I’ve been known to walk over to my favorite slot machine and loose what I just one. Sometimes it works out too and I will a bit more tho.
I like to do this same strategy except for the don’t come and I doubled my bankroll in less than an hour cause the table was horribly cold and all I’ll usually play is don’t
I have been dealing dice in Las Vegas for 18 years. The old timers call this the Hoover dam, because you lose your life savings, then drive to the dam and jump off.
I get the point you are trying to make, that its a bad strategy, but lose life savings? Nothing is stopping them from walking away when down say 50% of daily bankroll....but i guess as a dealer you see a lot of degenerate gamblers that can't walk away, sad
I used this system the other day. Went from $200 to $400 using just $10.00 field and 3 units on the 5, 6, and 8. Had a hot shooter for about 20 minutes.
GREAT Craps videos! After focusing on a progressive Come bet system, I watched your videos and modified the way I play. I’ve had great success with a hybrid iron cross / progressive come bet system. Upon turning off (or taking down) the place bets after the 4th roll (as mentioned in this video), I simply begin the come bet progression while mathematically expecting the 7 (1 out of 6 rolls). Keep the good videos coming and good luck!
I think your craps videos are the best on you tube. You have a very simple way of explaining things while also appealing to veteran craps players. Can't wait for the next video keep it up
It really helps your odds of winning at the crap table if you build a crap practice table or buy a crap practice table to practice setting dice on and then throwing them. This way you're not paying the casino to learn how to set the dice and throw them. Over time you will learn how much swing that you need to move your arm, where to release both of the dice at the end of the table from the back wall, how hard to hit the lower shirt on the back wall, and how much backspin rotation on the dice as they both leave your hand to influence certain dice numbers to show up when you roll the dice. I have my arm rotated back at around 45 degrees right before I throw both dice, and with my finger holding both of the dice tilted slightly upward. When I release both of the dice this puts a reverse rotation on the spin of the dice. When you roll the dice you also need to find out what your ' seven out ratio is' If you can only roll the dice five times on average, and then you roll a seven on your 6th dice roll, your ' seven out ratio ' is five rolls of the dice. I like to position my fingers with one finger on each dice on the front, one finger along the length of the dice on the left side and my small finger along the length of the dice on the right side. I position my thumb so that it is centered on the left and right dice coming together. And along the length and middle of both dice. Your arm should swing like a pendulum. When you release both of the dice your fingers should stay together and not separate. It takes a lot of practice daily and also watching how both of the dice lands as you release them to get both of the dice to roll backward and inline after they both hit the lower shirt on the back wall. If either of the dice rolls left or right after they both hit the low shirt on the back wall, your fingers didn't release the dice correctly. The chance then becomes much greater of rolling the number seven! You need to practice several hours each day setting dice, releasing both of the dice so that they spin backwards whenever you release them, hit the bottom shirt at either end of the crap table, and with enough backward spin momentum so that both dice roll as close together and in a straight line when both of the dice hit the lower shirt on either back wall. This keeps the dice on axis and gives you a much better chance of influencing the dice to roll the numbers that you want them to roll. Lately, I've been shooting from ten to twelve feet at the end of the crap table, ( 6/5 & 5/4 ) rolling along the surface of the crap table to hit the shirt on the back wall. I have averaged 12- -22 rolls each time that I throw the dice by throwing the dice this way. If the the dice lands on any number but the seven on my come out roll, I then roll the dice six more times and then tell the dealer to turn off all of my place bets. If my field bet is still on the crap table ,I then take it off of the table. Now all I can lose is my pass line bet. I like to play craps on $5 and $10 tables between the hours of 3am and 5 am. There is hardly anyone shooting dice at this time. This way I get the dice back quickly and once I make between $49- $ 60, I cash out the then go back to sleep.
This is good information. Just before reading this comment I had the thought of taking my cheap foos ball table apart and converting it into a cheap craps table. Just to learn for free rather than paying the casino to learn. Your comment just confirmed that my thought was correct. Thank you.
Amazing how your channel has grown! I'm just ow catching up on your videos and love them. This strategy is probably my favorite. I've learned a lot from your straight forward explanations!
I seen this strategy in another youtuber’s video. He didn’t have a name for it. But I followed it this week and started with $100 on Bubble craps and was up $1,100 in 3 hrs. This strategy is the best for beginners when the table is hot. You will be caking. I had a 28 roll run. Person next to me had a 22 roll run. But you need to switch your strategy when the table goes cold. The Iron Crapper strategy is the counter to this when the table goes cold. I wish I knew about the Iron Crapper sooner. Can’t wait to alternate both strategies on Friday when I hit the Casino.
Was just in Vegas this week and used this strategy. I had a $200 bankroll. First three guys went 7 out. After quickly losing $90 on three shooters, I sat out for a few rounds until the table warmed up again. It took literally 8 guys crapping out before someone made their point to break the bad streak. Once the table got warm, I got back into it and started coming back. I used the four roll min rule and then would intermittently play the field. Once the table got hot, it was pretty hard to lose and when I did, it was minimum bets, so I was continually adding chips to my stack. Several times I had chips on the field and shooter hit his point (9) so I was getting paid double and triple. Again, in the long run and with a sizable bank ($200 is pretty slim tbh) this strategy will win out. If the table goes cold, step down to just the pass line, or be bold and play the don't pass or just step off the table. I came away $230 up after a few hours. I also noticed we had four or five shooters who showed up after the long bad streak and were using dice control when they were rolling. They were rolling 10-15 times and making everybody at the table money. They were hitting points like crazy so when they finally hit their 7 out, it wasn't a big deal. This is basically how I was betting: $5 pass line $10 odds on pass $5 field $15 - $5 on 5, 6, 8. (If the point was any of these, I took the 9 or 10) If I had a larger bankroll, I would for sure increase my bets, but for what I had, it worked out in the end. I could've easily increased my bets as well when the table was hot, but played what I feel was pretty conservatively since I got hammered right away. In the end, I went home up, which is always the best case scenario.
I have using this method and it works pretty good. I place 4 units on the 5,6, 8 and $10 on the field. I also place $4.00 on the horn, just because the payoff is good. I then turn off after 3 or 4 rolls. Make at least $42 to $56 a shooter. Having a shooter get a point then crapping out can be painful. Once I have the original bet recovered, I will then start placing place bets on the 4, 9 and 10 using casino money.
Omg! This is my craps strategy! I figured this out by trial and error playing $1 minimum bets at the craps machine at a casino near me. I could sit at that machine for hours and turn $20 into $200 very quickly. I didn’t know this was a legit strategy or that it had a name. I’m happy to see that someone else thinks it’s a good strat. 7 is the only bad roll
Many players stumble upon this type of play. It has got to be the most famous strategy in craps. Whether it’s a good strat…just depends on how the dice roll.
The love/hate game of craps. I was a part of two 6 point “fire bet” wins in a row. 40 mins followed by 1 hr 20 min. Money management in any game can be improved. People like to play more than they do winning. In general people don’t have enough bankroll to play the swings. People tend to hold back on the houses money on a good roll to play longer bc of being 7 outed so much, but....always remember even though the player rolls the dice we don’t have any control of the outcome unfortunately, however most veterans do believe in the art of recognizing “hot rolls” and six sense of betting. Good luck!
Just watched this video again. You mentioned having 500 subs at the end of this video. Now you're over 19K Subs. Here's to your success and much much more in the future. You're awesome CU!!
It’s a fun little strategy. You did good on the first game. Dang....you’re doing decent about 4 mins from the end of the vid! People will scoff.... but you can have great dice combos one minute and the next, you’re wearing a barrel. Just the nature of the game. I love it!
That strategy is called the Iron Crapper. Betting the same amount on the Dont Pass as the 5 6 8 and field. Great for choppy tables where the 7 keeps showing up, really bad if its a hot shooter and he keeps making the point.
@@JavierCastillo-vc8ih On the contrary, a long shoot is the best for this strategy because the gambler keeps making money on all numbers until a 7 rolls.
@@Shawk95 Respectfully, I have tried this and every time the shooter makes his point, bye bye Dont Pass bet. Remember, the Iron Crapper works but if the shooter keeps making his point number after two or three rolls, the Dont Pass losses add up real quick, especially if the Dont Pass bet equals the 5 6 8 and Field bet. I use this system BUT I dont equal the Dont Pass bet as the same as my 5 6 8 and field bet because I have experienced a hot shooter that kept hitting the point established and those Dont pass losses will hurt
@@JavierCastillo-vc8ih I have experienced shooters who hit every number except the point and ultimately 7 out. In the meantime, Iron crapper betters have amassed a fortune.
@color up - So I ran across your channel in searching for craps hint, tips and tricks to use. Let me say, i have enjoyed the channel and the vast amount of walk throughs you do. Simple and to the point. Love it. I took the iron cross to a "home game" with a $500 bank roll....and walked out with $1140 after the time limit was called. Thank you for your teaching, explanations and helpful tips. Wouldn't be able to do so without your vids...... i am a much more confident craps player now. I will let ya know how the live version goes when we hit the casino cruise next year. Please Keep It up!!!
Love this strategy bro! Been using it to color up at the casinos! But I've been only betting table minimum with no odds and place betting even if the point is 5, 6 or 8. Thanks man!
Mate.... I’m heading to Vegas from the UK for the 5th year running to celebrate both my birthday and honeymoon combined in a couple of weeks. I was only brave enough to start playing craps for the first time last year. After the most incredible streak of beginners luck on my first game I thought I was invincible. Safe to say I soon gave the Luxor all their money back + interest 😂 Anyway..... I just want to say a big thank you for uploading these videos. I’m feeling so much more confident now that I’ll understand what’s going on and can’t wait to hit the tables. Such a great game !!! All the Best
Good info for showing people how to do this. Just won $400 in 3 hours using it. I pressed to 3 units. If those hit I pressed up one. Hope this helps on top of knowing this strategy. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! When the house loses everyone wins.
This is a great system because you cover every point. I know a lot of people think it’s not good system because of the 7 but that 7 can come up at anytime so you really can’t have any control over that. When a 7 comes everyone lose unless you are on the don’t
The reason people don't like this Strat, is the 6 and 8 are a wash or push with the field losing, and the 6/8 are the two most common numbers besides the 7.
Color Up but I like it because I’m always winning. If I get a good shooter when I win on the field I press my 6 or 8 that way I can still be winning more money.
No matter how I look at it..field is a big house edge..so why bet it period..people..bet place bets. Be patient and wait for good rolls and then press your place bets if no good roll stay at the minimum. Best strategy you ever get
The iron cross is meant to be a one throw bet only then you take your bets down. Basically you place 500 0n the five 500 on the six 500 on the eight and 250 on the field. Let it roll once you are up minimum 250 then you walk away. The iron cross is not meant for multiple rolls.
SEVEN! LINE AWAY!... Those are my favorite words to hear at a craps table because it means that I just won all my bets! Now I can leave the table with a pile of freshly won chips. I still cannot fathom why people bet "with the dice"... Why fight the inevitability that a 7 will be rolled. To win money your way, you have to hit your numbers TWICE before I hit my seven ONCE. Betting against the dice has paid for multiple trips to Vegas for me, PLUS, when the tables are popsicle cold... I mean ARCTIC POLAR COLD, there is plenty of space at the tables. Now granted, the rest of the newly minted losers get pissed when I come up and start betting against them, but since I am a cosmically cursed gambler, all I need to do is start betting that everyone around me is going to be affected by my cursed mojo. Plus, I get paid while it happens!
I have plenty of strategies on my channel playing the Don'ts you may like. Cosmically cursed ha, if thats true, yes stay on the Don'ts. It's interesting to me, that you make it sound like you never lose playing the Don'ts, if that were the case you should be a billionaire by now. Mathematically you do have an edge of about .05% over right way or do players. Most players would rather bet with the crowd and give up that slight edge. Thanks for watching.
press the numbers when you hit the field and collect when you hit the static numbers. If it is a hot shooter, you can slowly press up and cover the inside. Now all you have to do is a $4 horn bet.
loved the addition of the money won/lost as it happens. I enjoy your strategy testing videos. I always imagined that the iron cross would work best for dont bettors, but I guess the odds wouldnt be that different.
Anything that does not include a don't pass or don't come or lay bets is right side play, which the iron cross falls into. Of course you could switch it, and do a don't pass and then the iron cross variant then has ever number covered. I sometimes use this DP variant Iron Cross play, including the regression and you then really have a nice choppy to hot table play. Aaron
Hey bud I have only recently became interested in Craps but I think I’m hooked. Good thing the casino in Melbourne Australia is an hour away as I might have invested a lot of cash on these strategies. Love the videos bud
you must be new at craps, the dealers are very slick and will slow down the game and then announce that there is big money on the deuces putting pressure on the shooter. Seen it before.
@@jeffreyd508 go to a craps website and I am being graded by a lousy English teacher. I did not major in English but I did have a nice major and I got a nice paying job.
This is the best video out of the 25+ videos i watched with people explaining statistics and confusing numbers😂💀 straight to the point and real rolls! Thank you!!
Just got back from Shreveport, La, playing at Margaritaville and the Horseshoe. Started with $100 and ended up Cashing out with $250 using the Iron Cross with the Pass Line. I wore my Color Up shirt, and I kept telling the dealers, "This is what I'll be doing after this session", pointing at the shirt....and I did.
It was actually better than what I said. I fiddled around at first and did some other things, playing the don't pass line and just doing some inside numbers and was really $170 behind when I went to bed last night. When I got up in the morning, I went and played some Texas Holdem and won a little bit back. So then I decided to actually play the Iron Cross, and it didn't hurt that I had a nice roll, hitting 5 points almost back to back. So not only did I make up my losses, but then I got ahead. As I got ahead, I also played some hard ways that hit, which didn't hurt. I'm not a big bettor, or I would have played higher odds than 2x behind the pass line. Either way, it was a winning trip overall. A small win is better than a big loss.
I'm from shreveport. I played at the el Dorado and bet the small, tall, and make em all side bets for $5 each and this guy must have rolled 30+ plus times never hitting a seven and the last number he needed to roll to complete the make em all bet was a 12 and he rolled it. I won $1,200 plus all the money I won betting on the numbers. It was crazy.
Thank you Jeremy for the info and tips, this was a good video to watch. Today is 05/27/2020 and the governor of Nevada said the casinos can start to reopen. I can't wait to get there and try my luck at this game.
Great video, watched it till the end, I have subscribed and your strategies have helped me at the casino. I used the strategy from the Dealer's regression across the line video you did. 100/50/25/10/5. Played with$500 for 4 hrs and walked out with $400 profits on my initial $500. Thabks
@@ColorUp I've enjoyed craps over the last 12 years, i showed my friend who never knew how to play your two videos, the 5min first time playing craps and the 30min regression video. I got him to download a free craps app. We played the apps on a Saturday night for a couple hrs, then went to the bubble craps machine and he trippled his money. Very good videos my friend, thanks again.
I use this strategy with one rule. After I win twice, I take all my money down. I won't win much, but it greatly decreases the chance of 7 taking all my money
Play a mini game of 2 score hits at every table in the casino. Once up one table your playing on casinos money.. once up two tables ur up one table always .. if u beat all tables go home... if you beat all but 1 go hOme .. basically if u come out in profit after the first round. GO HOME.
I love the COLOR combination on your table. It's a nice bright contrast against the black, and stands out a lot nicer than your typical green felt table.
Jim Bigboystoys thanks, I think it’s pretty sharp! I’m considering a custom one with my logo and adding some things, but will probably keep color combo
I think I like this strategy a little better than the iron cross without the pass line. Thanks again for the awesome tutorials. I’m learning a lot. I’d personally like to see more with a $10 table. I know it doesn’t matter a lot, but that’s all they have around here. I’m constantly adjusting for the difference. Not a big deal at all really.
Color Up like I said though, it’s really not that big of a deal. I like that you put a live roll in all of your videos and not just an explanation like it’s read from a book.
I used to play craps at Pechanga but they use the cards instead of dice (California casino) and one time I stepped to an empty table and 7'd out on the very next roll after making a point like 8 times in a row. I couldn't believe it and haven't been back since. Can't trust those cards.
First time in Vegas I hit the hard way 10 on a $25 bet and a shady dealer pressed my full winnings on the same hardway bet since I wasn’t paying attention. My beginners luck paid off big time there much to everyone’s surprise.
Color Up so the dice are rigged to get people's hope up this method will work?, or is it to show the method of for whatever reason statistics are in their favor, it is how they will win?
If you are not controlling the dice, betting the don't pass is the best bet. You can see which bets are in the house favor, by whether or not they are contract bets. A contract bet is one that, once you put your money down, you have to either win or lose it, to pick it up. The non-contract bets are in YOUR favor, or at least the ones the LEAST in the casino's favor to win. Don't pass is not a contract bet. You can pick it up, anytime. If you bet, however, on the pass line, that is there until you either win, or lose it.
I have watched this video a couple of times and like this method. Of course most methods will work well as long as you have a hot shooter. Thanks for the realistic videos and not promoting any one method. Keep up the great work!
I played this strategy last night. A couple guys were playing it and were doing good so I started playing it with the odds behind the pass. I did pretty good actually! Normally I don't play the Field, but this method covers all the numbers except Big Red of course.
If you combine that, with setting your dice, you can do really well. I do this, five times per week, and bet pass line, but use the iron cross, and do really well. Most days, I get up around $800, in 20 minutes and leave. I've found that if you stay below $1,000 wins, and only go to that casino once per week, nobody really pays that much attention to you. I do four casinos per week and don't play at the same casinos but every two weeks. (I have 8 casinos in my area) Also, a lot of the people on here, say "Don't tip", but I find tipping to be beneficial because the dealers help you out more, if you tip. When I get close to my goal, I'll split each win with the dealers. I'll have $20 on the field and, if I hit a 12, (there are two that pay double and the rest pay triple on the field, for 12), I split it with the dealers. I keep $30 and give the dealers $30. I USUALLY have $60 each on the 5, 6 & 8,. When those win, I replace what I have on the field, then tip $20, out and they love it! When they see you are splitting your winnings, they start cheering everytime you win. LOVE it!
Nice. I'm going to a casino on Tuesday. Any suggestions? I only played once just for fun, and I didn't really know what I was doing. After reading all the posts, I think I can try using this "Iron Cross" system. Well, I will see next week.
If you're random rolling, I don't recommend playing, at all. I go to all of the casinos, but dislike Horse Shoe, because the dealers know when your setting and, although they don't interfere with the rolls, they try to get you angry, which breaks concentration. Not all of the dealers are like that, but there is a female "stickman", that really gets under my skin and I'd love to smack her. If they start making you angry, it's best to leave. Just pull all of your bets, except the passline and try to roll out.
Just found your channel. Awesome tips and tricks. You may do it on new videos, but in post edit can you possibly add a profit/loss per shooter? Hard to do the math of u 7 out frequently. Keep the vids coming!
I normally lay the 4 or the 10 and simply wait for the 7's to come up. It's really simple...the only thing to worry about is if a string of 4's or 10's come up and kicks your ass. So what you would do is give yourself at least 3 levels to work with. The payoff is 1 to 2 which means you get paid half of what you bet minus the vig which is 1 dollar for every 40 you bet. For example...you lay the 4 for 50 and you'll get 25 every time a 7 rolls...minus the 1 dollar vig. If the 4 rolls then your out your 51 dollars. So your next move would be to lay the 4 for 150, minus the vig and hope for a 7 to roll. If the 7 comes up before another 4 does then you'll be paid 75 which gives you your money back that you lost before plus 25 dollars. You then tell the dealer to break it down to the 1st level which is 50. If the 4 comes up again on your 2nd level then you give yourself a 3rd level which is you lay the 4 for 450 minus the vig and then pray that the 7 comes up before the dreaded 4. If the 7 comes up on your 3rd level...you'll be paid 225 which is all your money back plus a few bucks minus the vig. So what you are hoping for is that you'll get at least one 7 before you see three 4's come up which will cost you a little over 650 for those 3 levels. This whole scenario can be done by laying the 10 also since the odds are the same. I simply like laying the 4 as my personal preference. It's possible that three 4s could come up before a 7 does but not very probable. Remember to go back to the 1st level once a 7 is rolled. Don't forget to take your blood pressure medicine when using this method...it can get scary at times. The secret is making a few bucks then get the hell out of there. OR NOT!!!!
Dude this is so helpful!!! I played with two friends that also didn’t know what they were doing tonight and after watching this video and another one, i can see how this would have worked way better than what we were doing. Is there any way to practice at home digitally with play money?
The correct way to play this is with the Don’t Pass. $12 6/8 $10 5 $10 Field $10 DP with $49 odd This flips the odds in your favor as the average is 82% 7 out within the first 6 rolls
@@ColorUp I went to Cachtatta casino in Louisiana played don't pass on machine craps 5689 every time. I watched for the back line to hit three times in a row then bet heavy on the field! It worked well!as the numbers that have hit the last 20 time's are shown on the screen above! If I noticed 4&10 not showing up after 17 rolls I put $25 on one or the other! I combined what you were saying and doubled my $! Fast rolling on machine though! Table to much noise! Thank you for the help!!
Brand new subscriber and loving these videos! My question is once you place the #s (5,6,8 for example if the point is 9), why not make a come bet? If you roll 7 at least u win something and if u don’t, your placing the other #s or making odds. There must be a reason u didn’t do this once in the entire video and u didn’t discuss it so there must be a reason not to do it. What is it? And keep up the great work!
Any and all craps betting "systems" will eventually fall victim to what statisticians call "regression to the mean". Yes, in the short term you will have deviations from the norm, but if you graph all rolls, eventually you will have a perfect bell curve, with six and eight in the middle and two and twelve on the ends. As with all forms of casino gambling, money management and exit strategy are key. Start with a specific fixed bankroll and don't chase losses. If you are winning, start rat-holing your chips and play with house money. In craps you want to place most of your money on bets that have the lowest house advantage. Pass line (or don't pass) with full odds, place the 6/8 and stay the fuck away from all the prop bets. The field is a long term loser for the player as well but it can be a nice way to hedge against a craps roll on the come out or if you are making a new Come bet.
I basically agree with everything you said, except maybe the term "house money" as once you win it, it is "your money" you are risking, but I understand the point you are making. Thanks for watching and your feedback.
First off, I want to say I like your video's. They have given me some good Ideas to add to my own strategy. Next, I did an examination of your $100 6/8 hedge strategy. I ran it through a ten shooter simulation and found that most of the time it would not make a profit. The reason is the 7 comes up a lot after the dice have changed to the next shooter. If you have $10 on the donts every time, a couple of 7's will chew you up-not to mention if the shooter makes the point. In my 10 shooter simulation, only 3 shooters came out ahead.
I only do come bets with odds and pass line with odds. First I start up with covering up place bets then bets on come. Once I get a number covered from the COME bet, I use the place bets to use as odds.
I play the Iron Cross with a don't pass bet and full lay on the don't. Works very, very well. I make money on hot shooter and break even with a cold table.
Its a mathematical myth that the odds somehow change because you are playing the Iron Cross. Using the 4 pass rule to get you out of the game and then waiting for a 7 to get back in doesn't make any difference except in the short term. It is purely an anecdotal session demonstrating that sometimes the Iron Cross works. Their are ways to be a consistent winner when playing casino games... I call it having an edge over whatever particular game you are choosing to play. How do you gain an edge? You study, you focus, you develop a skill set that has made winners out of other players like card counters do in BJ. Or, you learn how to play poker where you get to see your cards before you bet. What other game allows you to bet when you know you have the winning cards? When you have "The Nuts" in poker you already know you are going to win the hand... that doesn't happen in any other game we play. The other skill set will not be acceptable to most people that gamble... and that is developing your intuition. You say becoming proficient at being psychic in casino games isn't possible? Then I have a question for you... why won't casinos let you use a cell phone at the table? Think about it... Also... why are big televised poker games tape delayed 15 minutes or more? They didn't use to be... Think about it...
Great stragity. Great profit. I am going to use it and add when you regress your bets, I will let 4 wins go by (if I get them of course) and start to build up a unit each time
my favorite system in this game. but tipe if you know the table cold switch strangy quick. to many people have one game plan. you need at least 3 in this game.
I like to bet the 6,8 and field and not bet the 5 as 6 and 8 are very common # and I feel you loose less, I also don't press. And I clear my bets after the 4th roll usually as in my exp. Most shooters don't roll past 4 or 5 before a 7 comes up.
I don't believe in superstition. There is always a 1 in 6 chance of rolling a 7 whether it's the shooter's FIRST roll or his 80th roll (after a very hot streak). As your own videos show, you can seven out at any time. I'm actually new to craps. I've only just started learning. But I'm an expert in probability and statistics. So backing off or ramping up your bets are only based on a "hunch". Each event (roll of the dice) is completely independent of previous events. If you know about card counters in blackjack, you would know that real card counters NEVER quit while they're ahead. Going with gut feelings causes card counters to either lose or not earn as much as they could be earning. A perfect card counter has a slight edge over the house and he WILL come out ahead in the long run. Craps gives players no way to gain any edge over the house so you WILL lose over time. However, it seems the odds are better than most games, if you play wisely.
That is correct, casino holds edge with every bet in craps, there are some very low house edge bets and some that are very high. Now there are some that believe they can influence the dice results by their throw and effect probability. If so then it would be possible to gain an edge but.....
@@ColorUp I should have mentioned that, in a game where the the house has any edge, it's definitely a good thing to quit while you're ahead, unlike a card-counter. It's a business to them :) WOW, I would really be interested in hearing how people can influence the results of dice rolls. Even while having to throw them across the table and hitting the other side? That's amazing! I'm sure you've heard of blackjack card counters being "backed off" (removed) from casinos or flat-betted. Are there master genius dice rollers that actually get backed off?
@@ChristmasEve777 Knowing when to walk is a great skill. I for sure can't control the dice and casinos don't believe in it, but many people do still believe. I don't personally know of anyone being backed off for dice control, for taking to long or not hitting back wall, or being jerk, or videoing yes, but not for the dice results they throw.
Thanks for the help, I've played out in cali where they use cards and only bet big six and eight not knowing much about the game. Just came back from vegas where I made just over double my money and had a good time playing and drinking on there dime.
Proper way in doing this is 1 unit in field and 2 units on 5,6,&8. The only way to do this is with a one time bet something like $300 field $600 5,6,& 8 Good chance you will win if only betting this one time You will win a minimum of $300 could win $600 in field or higher could also win a lot more than $300 on odds on your 5,6,& 8 If you do this once a day good chance your luck will run out...but on a one time bet it's a good chance....always looks for shooter making 7's on come out roll when they finally establish a point the first roll after they established there point would be your best probability....7's tend to show up more often when there not showing up in come out rolls so wait for a shooter that is hitting 7's in come out roll then bet after he establishes a point...this is no guarantee just a one time strategy...maybe if you did this 3×'s a week you may have sucess
@color up. Sorry, you are correct. I was confused. What are your thoughts on playing the Iron Cross strategy and the Don't pass line from the beginning vs the Pass line?
Nice vid. I do like the iron cross, if you’re feelin ballzy. It’s very affective when things heat up. It’s hard for most to pull it off because it is intimidating to have all that capital hanging out there waiting for the “long roller”, just getting a one unit win on every hit. A couple of 7outs and most players will chicken out before the hot streak comes, but if you hit stride with a hot shooter you can bring in some serious cash in a hurry this way. I like your twist on throwing in the pass line bet with some odds. Thanks again nice vid
@@ColorUp New to your channel...loved this vid. But I am curious: if you aren't a fan of this strategy yourself...which one DO you play? Maybe I will find the answer as I dig around watching more of your videos, but just thought I would ask.
@@redknightprez I have a video called “favorite” but it’s for different reasons. I play different ways but subscribe to a theory: start cheap, recoup original outlay, then press and go for big win. Any strategy that follows those tactics is my favorite way to play.
This video is interesting, I'm looking into playing craps to add to my poker and blackjack expertise and what I am starting to see is that in the long run all that matters is placing bets on the things where the house advantage is as close to zero as possible and manage your bankroll (always betting within your limits) and at the bare minimum you should be a break even player. I will be studying your videos more and also Wizard of Odds and see if I can come up with my own strategy and break into being a profitable player. Thanks.
@@ColorUp Haha, I was looking into that, found a documentary on dice control by Dominic LoRiggio. I will look into everything I can before I attack the tables!! I feel that the house edge is low enough and if I do enough research I will find my edge!! #advantageplayer

Yes. Got'em with a chest pocket? I'm IN. A large,please.LUCKY!!!!!
Thank you!
It works sometimes, no strategy works all the time.
@@ColorUp dnt pass works all the time stupid
Agreed, if the 7 hits a roll or two after establishing a point no strategy works 😩
I love that you have a table and do mock rolls using the strategies. Makes it so much easier to understand than just listening to someone trying to explain it.
Nice! My first time at Craps, I started with $150 and walked away with $400! Thanks for the tips!
Wow! Nice win.
How long til you went again and lost it back?
The catch is "except for the seven". Just have fun losing or better yet, winning. Set an amount that you can afford to lose as the price of entertainment and quit anytime you are ahead unless you haven't had enough entertainment. The casino will eventually win if you keep playing. The trick is quit while you are ahead, but only after you had enough fun.
Well said
Yeah, "every roll you win money except [the most common roll]" is a pretty big "except"...
Except for blackjack ;)
Omaha! X1, I know what you mean. It’s hard to walk when you are so early into your trip or even the day. I’ve been known to walk over to my favorite slot machine and loose what I just one. Sometimes it works out too and I will a bit more tho.
Played this system last night and went back and forth. Got about 2 hours of entertainment and a little profit. Great video btw
Ethan Hashbarger 2 hrs is awesome, little profit is icing on the cake, sounds like good entertainment!
I like to do this same strategy except for the don’t come and I doubled my bankroll in less than an hour cause the table was horribly cold and all I’ll usually play is don’t
“You win 14$ here, but you already lost the field for 5$, so that’s 9$ profit.” It’s simple, but I love hearing those type of breakdowns.
I have been dealing dice in Las Vegas for 18 years. The old timers call this the Hoover dam, because you lose your life savings, then drive to the dam and jump off.
I get the point you are trying to make, that its a bad strategy, but lose life savings? Nothing is stopping them from walking away when down say 50% of daily bankroll....but i guess as a dealer you see a lot of degenerate gamblers that can't walk away, sad
what strategy do you suggest?
@@geraldknowles519Not gambling, obviously. House always wins.
@@ColorUp Then why say you win every time?
I used this system the other day. Went from $200 to $400 using just $10.00 field and 3 units on the 5, 6, and 8. Had a hot shooter for about 20 minutes.
always fun when it works out
GREAT Craps videos!
Love your strategy, next time i play going to try what you said.
I think your craps videos are the best on you tube. You have a very simple way of explaining things while also appealing to veteran craps players. Can't wait for the next video keep it up
Thomas Stillwaggon thank you!
This is my favorite craps strategy. I'd let it ride well after 4 hits, that way if it's a hot shooter you can capitalize on a max profit. Great video!
Played this strategy a little bit more careful with my shooters who were striking out but made 700 on my 21st bday!
Hi Tony Leo.

Yea dipshit it's luck
This is good information. Just before reading this comment I had the thought of taking my cheap foos ball table apart and converting it into a cheap craps table. Just to learn for free rather than paying the casino to learn. Your comment just confirmed that my thought was correct. Thank you.

@@cjroeglin4360 Looks like a lot, had to sell his computer.
You won because you came up on a hot shooter, not any strategy. A deaf mute can win if a hot shooter throws 20-30 times.
This is basically how I was betting:
$5 pass line
$10 odds on pass
$5 field
$15 - $5 on 5, 6, 8. (If the point was any of these, I took the 9 or 10)
If I had a larger bankroll, I would for sure increase my bets, but for what I had, it worked out in the end. I could've easily increased my bets as well when the table was hot, but played what I feel was pretty conservatively since I got hammered right away. In the end, I went home up, which is always the best case scenario.
Thanks for sharing your experience at the table, glad it worked out in the end.
You mean $5 on the 5, and $6 on the 6 and 8 right? I always forget this myself.

Love this strategy, a simple way to make some money, play for awhile and have some fun.
This is the BEST craps tutorial site on you tube and Ive been looking for a few years. Very helpful and well done! Thanks for your time!

Good luck!
I definitely believe in hot rolls and hot / cold tables. Might just be superstition but works for me lol

How about Iron Cross with a bet on the Don't pass instead of pass line? In this strategy, you re-coup some of the money when a 7 shows.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Oops if you did that in a real casino!
The Ass Line, well played sir.
😁
Love the Ass line.
No matter how I look at it..field is a big house edge..so why bet it period..people..bet place bets. Be patient and wait for good rolls and then press your place bets if no good roll stay at the minimum. Best strategy you ever get
I did iron cross, it works perfectly if you iron your shirt first
Freshly pressed clothes may be the key
The iron cross is meant to be a one throw bet only then you take your bets down. Basically you place 500 0n the five 500 on the six 500 on the eight and 250 on the field. Let it roll once you are up minimum 250 then you walk away. The iron cross is not meant for multiple rolls.
Lol honestly not a bad one roll chance
I hate gamblers like you with your negative vibes! It's funny watching yall lose on the don''t pass when rollers get hot!

press the numbers when you hit the field and collect when you hit the static numbers.
+Branden Arnett thanks, I added it on your suggestion...well u asked for running bankroll, but I went with this, even though still lot of extra work
Anything that does not include a don't pass or don't come or lay bets is right side play, which the iron cross falls into.
Of course you could switch it, and do a don't pass and then the iron cross variant then has ever number covered. I sometimes use this DP variant Iron Cross play, including the regression and you then really have a nice choppy to hot table play. Aaron
Always a unit in don’t for me following lay one unit

Just got back from Shreveport, La, playing at Margaritaville and the Horseshoe. Started with $100 and ended up Cashing out with $250 using the Iron Cross with the Pass Line. I wore my Color Up shirt, and I kept telling the dealers, "This is what I'll be doing after this session", pointing at the shirt....and I did.
Ok, its official, the T-shirt is good luck. haha Thanks for reporting back, and I'm honored that you wore the color up shirt.
Yep June 4th
I bet the iron cross and I add the 4 9 and 10 this way my field wins are more
U would bet more on field or bet on point 4,9,10?
That’s just playing across with a sucker field bet then not an iron cross lol
Great video, watched it till the end, I have subscribed and your strategies have helped me at the casino. I used the strategy from the Dealer's regression across the line video you did. 100/50/25/10/5. Played with$500 for 4 hrs and walked out with $400 profits on my initial $500.
Thabks
Awesome to hear
@@ColorUp I've enjoyed craps over the last 12 years, i showed my friend who never knew how to play your two videos, the 5min first time playing craps and the 30min regression video. I got him to download a free craps app. We played the apps on a Saturday night for a couple hrs, then went to the bubble craps machine and he trippled his money. Very good videos my friend, thanks again.
I use this strategy with one rule. After I win twice, I take all my money down. I won't win much, but it greatly decreases the chance of 7 taking all my money
Ramon Mercedes smart play
Scared money never wins.

You're a legend
It work for me I think I could ir made more but California does not use dice
great channel bro! really enjoying your strategies
Yeah press to 3 units when you make your hits. Best place to be
I think I like this strategy a little better than the iron cross without the pass line. Thanks again for the awesome tutorials. I’m learning a lot. I’d personally like to see more with a $10 table. I know it doesn’t matter a lot, but that’s all they have around here. I’m constantly adjusting for the difference. Not a big deal at all really.
I have no tables around me so when I travel I only play $5 tables...I have a few vids I play $10, but you are right I need more
Color Up like I said though, it’s really not that big of a deal. I like that you put a live roll in all of your videos and not just an explanation like it’s read from a book.
Well I read all the books and some things are just hard to follow...I really just started this channel and do the live rolls for myself :)
Why am I watching this?
To learn about the Iron Cross craps strategy. I sure am timely with my answers.😂
One of the best videos I've seen by far, great job!
WestKY Boy thank you
Watching you go hand to hand with the dice is making me cringe!! and I want to tell you to put the dice down and use one hand only! Lol
Matthew Vondrak watch closely as I swap rigged dice every time I go hand to hand
Color Up I knew it!
Color Up so the dice are rigged to get people's hope up this method will work?, or is it to show the method of for whatever reason statistics are in their favor, it is how they will win?
Lol,this is a horrible way to bet. The casinos love this kinda stuff
Colby Hutzell casinos love players no matter how they play
Yeah but they love people like this the most
Joe D more than center/prop betters?
Color Up heck no!
If you bet, however, on the pass line, that is there until you either win, or lose it.
oldie but a goodie. Love your videos brother
Thank you
I have watched this video a couple of times and like this method.
Eric Boyles yep, sometimes it can really work out well
If you combine that, with setting your dice, you can do really well.
No shit they will cheer when you win when ur being a sucker into tipping them money that more than likely you'll lose in another trip.
It's a great strategy for a hot shooter, you have to go up one to two units on the five, six and eight. It depends on the shooter.
I love your videos, very informative. The best way to leave a casino with money is to quit while you're ahead and dont let greed control you
of course, but how do you do that?
Just found your channel. Awesome tips and tricks. You may do it on new videos, but in post edit can you possibly add a profit/loss per shooter? Hard to do the math of u 7 out frequently. Keep the vids coming!
Yep, have been adding numbers in all later videos. Thanks for watching
Excellent tutorial 👌. I'm a Vegas regular but not a craps player.
As a beginner I would feel confident about playing this at a $10 table.
OR NOT!!!!
Sounds like gambling :) thanks for sharing your strategy
Dude this is so helpful!!! I played with two friends that also didn’t know what they were doing tonight and after watching this video and another one, i can see how this would have worked way better than what we were doing.
Is there any way to practice at home digitally with play money?
yes but why would you want to
The correct way to play this is with the Don’t Pass.
$12 6/8
$10 5
$10 Field
$10 DP with $49 odd
This flips the odds in your favor as the average is 82% 7 out within the first 6 rolls
There is no “correct” way to play. No matter how you mix up your bets, the casino has edge on every bet made.
Greatly enjoyed your video's!!
Glad you like them!
That was excellent.. the only I'll do different is play the 4 ... and a horn high 12
You certainly can start replacing place bets with come bets. That is just not part of this particular strategy.
This is definitely a good bet strat it worked
Still the only strategy that makes sense to me.... thanks for the tip.
This is called the PLace/Field system. You have 30/36 numbers covered 83.33% of the numbers ( 7 is 6 ways which is 16.66%)
Its called a couple of different things. thanks
N Kisner thanks for checking it out
I only do come bets with odds and pass line with odds. First I start up with covering up place bets then bets on come. Once I get a number covered from the COME bet, I use the place bets to use as odds.
Smart way to play
Color Up although that style needs a huge bank roll
Great video, I only have 1 suggestion keep the numbers that come out on the screen .Like subtitles.
Thanks, watch my newer videos :)
Awesome will do 👍👌
I play the Iron Cross with a don't pass bet and full lay on the don't. Works very, very well. I make money on hot shooter and break even with a cold table.
You make money on a “HOT” shooter playing the don’t and laying against?
Ted Osmundson there are no”nuts” in craps only 1.3% on the don’t which is still losing odds over time
Great videos! You showed another video with a Lay 5 option to the Iron Cross. Is a Lay bet a contract bet?
It is not, remove, reduce or increase anytime.
Great stragity. Great profit. I am going to use it and add when you regress your bets, I will let 4 wins go by (if I get them of course) and start to build up a unit each time
When you regress, do you leave the odds on the pass line?
500 subscribers...now 47.5k. Congrats on the growth. Your videos are great.
my favorite system in this game. but tipe if you know the table cold switch strangy quick. to many people have one game plan. you need at least 3 in this game.
justin curtis having alternative game plans...good advice!
Only time I switch from wrong betting is when I am holding the dice. Never bet against yourself... You might get lucky and hold the dice for an hour.
I like to bet the 6,8 and field and not bet the 5 as 6 and 8 are very common # and I feel you loose less, I also don't press. And I clear my bets after the 4th roll usually as in my exp. Most shooters don't roll past 4 or 5 before a 7 comes up.
Sounds like a solid way to play it.
Rawb 85 awesome, glad you are learning the game
Proper way in doing this is 1 unit in field and 2 units on 5,6,&8.
The only way to do this is with a one time bet something like
$300 field
$600 5,6,& 8
Good chance you will win if only betting this one time
You will win a minimum of $300 could win $600 in field or higher could also win a lot more than $300 on odds on your 5,6,& 8
If you do this once a day good chance your luck will run out...but on a one time bet it's a good chance....always looks for shooter making 7's on come out roll when they finally establish a point the first roll after they established there point would be your best probability....7's tend to show up more often when there not showing up in come out rolls so wait for a shooter that is hitting 7's in come out roll then bet after he establishes a point...this is no guarantee just a one time strategy...maybe if you did this 3×'s a week you may have sucess
I don't believe their is a "proper way" to do any strategy, just play the way you feel most comfortable, and have fun with.
@color up. Sorry, you are correct. I was confused. What are your thoughts on playing the Iron Cross strategy and the Don't pass line from the beginning vs the Pass line?
Not sure, something I should try out.
Yeah, I don't play this strategy personally but everyone seems to love it. The risk vs reward factor just doesn't do it for me. Thanks for watching.
Thanks.
Edge on every bet in craps so there isn’t a strategy that can “win” it’s a fun game, but can’t be beaten unlike poker and card counting blackjack
@@ColorUp Oh I see, so it's best to play for the fun of it and the smart and disciplined players will quit when they're ahead.
Yes sir
One caveat...if you believe you can control or influence the dice, you can gain an edge.
@@ColorUp Haha, I was looking into that, found a documentary on dice control by Dominic LoRiggio. I will look into everything I can before I attack the tables!! I feel that the house edge is low enough and if I do enough research I will find my edge!! #advantageplayer
Why aren’t you setting the dice up in the iron cross position?
