The ONLY things I've heard about Fallout is that the next new one is not coming until after Elder Scrolls VI(which isn't coming till near the end of the decade at the earliest) and there are a bunch of rumours about Fallout Remasters.

Give it 10 more years and Nintendo games like Mario and Zelda will officially be on PC as well. With the Switch 2, Nintendo's game development budgets will skyrocket and Nintendo will seek additional avenues of revenue. In order to offset that, they'll most likely put their games on PC and mobile. Though, it's Nintendo, so instead of putting them on Steam, they'd probably put them in a Nintendo PC launcher or something. And it'd work without Steam because Nintendo's IP are just that popular.

Sony knows that there are people who will buy the PS5 Single Player Game 2x (1 FOR PS5 & 1 FOR PC). They Looked at The HellDivers Situation and are more than okay releasing Multi-player Games Day and Date On PC!
Sony should make their own store and launcher for first-party games on PC. Sell the day and date on that store. Then sell it 6 months later everywhere, like steam and epic games and whatnot. While it is selling full price on other stores they should sell it for 30% off on their store. The crybabies can get it on steam and others who don't care can buy it day and date where Sony sells it
This is why if your Sony you need to continue working on "FACTIONS". There is no way if your a Sony Exec that you don't continue working on Factions after seeing what HELLDIVERS did for you day and date with the inclusion of PC, Sony are fools if they don't revive FACTIONS!

My best friend was going to buy a PS5 but once SONY announced that their games are coming over to the PC. He said fuck it I`ll wait til it comes to the PC. I myself have a XBOX SERIES X and a PC and I`m on steam no need for a PS5 either.

PS VR is a failed system with only 3rd party titles. Meta pretty much has the VR market cornered. Get used to it. Even Sony is throwing in the towel putting it on PC.

Nope. Sony cares about their hardware, unlike Microsoft. Also, most of Sony’s first party studios don’t have much experience porting games to PC. You saw what happened to The Last of Us part 1 Remake. Naughty Dog handled the port, and it was a disaster, and hurt PlayStation’s reputation quite a bit.
PlayStation first party studios development cycles already take 5-6 years, so having to make a PC port alongside a console version would make those dev cycles even longer. Also releasing their single player games on PC day one could affect the quality of their games. Sony cares about Metacritic scores, and first impressions, and understand how those things can affect the success of their games. First impressions are lasting impressions, and I don’t think Sony wants to take that risk

I agree. Eventually Sony just going to go all games everywhere day and date. Especially if they plan on doing a side by side release of games and movies/TV Series. Like you said, the console market it tapped out. Growth is going to be in Mobile and PC. I personally can't wait to be able to play my libraries on my IPad Pro's in the next couple years.
I'll just wait a couple of years for the games to come out on PC and then I'll purchase those games when they're discounted because Sony doesn't want to do day and date. There is no reality where I can see myself going out of my way to purchase a PS5 or PS6

@@ktrotter11 yeah, by some, you mean 2%. We already see the amount of PC players getting a PlayStation just to play their exclusives early. It's next to zero. Very few ppl bought a PS5 just to play God of War Ragnarok when then already have a gaming PC.
The few ppl that get a PS5 to play games early isn't enough to offset the millions of sales lost by not releasing the singleplayer games day-and-date on PC. And Sony will eventually do as such, within the next 5 or so years.

Why would they want to pay $500 for a console that requires a payment for online? It would be better to just do day and date to PC. That’s factually incorrect. PlayStation still does have exclusives. Demon Souls, Bloodbourne, The Last of Us Part 2, God of War Ragnarok, GT7, Spider-Man 2, FF16, FF7 Rebirth, Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin are not currently on PC. Those games will release on PC eventually, but they’re not on PC as we speak. Herman Hulst already confirmed that PS first party single player games will not release on PC day one.

It is correct most people are playing Call of Duty, Apex and Fortnite etc.
But this is also the REAL reason Xbox is tanking so hard against Playstation.
The online communities those games forged during the PS4 era. And it can all be traced back to that horrible Xbox One reveal that literally damaged the Xbox brand and made the majority of Xbox 360 owners flock to the PS4. Now those same people are heavily engrained into the PS echosystem and have established their own social network of friends they play these multiplayer games with.
No longer is the transitional jump in a generation a total reset, like say, PS2 to PS3 was. Everything from the previous gen now gets carried over. Including the social attachments that have been formed.
And the majority of gamers are going straight to PS5 based purely on this reason.
It's already well known there are no first party Sony games releasing for at least another year, yet PS5 sale continue to utterly crush the Xbox month after month.
Yet another clear sign that it is NOT the exclusives that are driving the PS5 sales. It's the fact people are investing in it because all of their friends have.
And this is why Call of Duty going into Game Pass day in date is not going to move the needle for Xbox. There is no chance at all PS gamers are going to switch to Xbox for Call of Duty.
First of all it's not financially viable.
Buy a whole new console and pay for a monthly subscription service to rent the game vs just buying the game once for $70 on the console they already own.
And moreover...they already have their own Call of Duty friend groups well established on PSN.
