You’ve joined the hobby at the perfect time. the beginning of a generation makes it easy to be introduced to the basic gimmicks of beyblade. So happy to see new faces getting into beyblade, I hope you will be enjoying it!
In the burst gen xcaliber was one of most known focused weight distribution beyblades because it's whole gimmick was to line up the point on the disc with the point on the layer and focus all the weight on a single point for a extremely powerful attack
Hey jangular I just wanna say welcome to the hobby I wanna give you a heads up so in beyblade x there are 4 ways to score points OS 1pt (out spin) KO in a small pocket 2pts BF 2pts (burst finish) and finally XF 3pts (Xtreme finish) when beys go into the big pocket on the front of the stadium
I’ve been doing Beyblade since about 2016, and a few of these shortenings of these terms I haven’t even heard beforehand. This has been very informative and I look forward to seeing more of your videos as time passes. I’m also a relatively small Beyblade content creator and it’s always nice to see new faces popping up. Very excited to see Beyblade from your perspective, keep doing what you’ve been doing and you should become a very large part of the community in no time!
Thank you so much for the kind words, I'm looking forward to getting more into the community as I go to events and get to meet people. I hope things for your channel only continue to go well as well!
Good luck on your journey as a brand new beyblade fan. I hope you will do well as someone who as been apart of beyblade a long time now it is a very fun and exciting hobby to get into.
you deserve more subs and views your vids are really high quality and informative about the FWD the most well known attackers that utilize it (at least for the burst meta) is the excalibur line of beys (single layer excalibur, xeno, sieg, buster and xyphoid) the first two layers (single layer excalibur and xeno ) utilize one sharp and extended part of the layer as the main point if contact (the first one doin this better because the evolution rounded of the sword ) to produce massive amounts of recoil on contact the next three add metal on top of the contact point to make the layer unbalance and focus all the attack power into the one point of contact sieg worked good for attack because it had a sharp point of contact buster didn't perform good because the point was rounded off and xyphoid performed really well being the best right spin attack ring at the end of the burst generation there is also a thing that we like to call the excalibur curse tldr single layer good had sharp point xeno bad had round point sieg good had sharp point buster bad had round point xyphoid good had sharp point I know this is a pretty crude way of explaining this but it should be understandable after reading the top part of the comment sorry for the big wall of text XD
I started with the OG beyblades but fell off somewhere during the metal era. One of my friends told me that Beyblade X is a completely new gen and I decide to start watching the anime yesterday to understand them. Stumbled upon your videos today and I love the way you present and explain things. I was honestly lost remembering parts of the jargons while deciding which beyblades to buy. Thank you for taking the time to do this!
I like your video style and the editing is nice! you got a new sub mate 👍 Also if you ever come across BSB and MFB, they stand for Bakuten Shoot Beyblade (plastic gen aka Gen 1) and Metal Fight Beyblade (metal fight, metal saga, Gen 2, etc) respectively.
you may also want to learn what kinds of attack patterns some blades may do depending on how its designed. like upper attacks focuses on hitting the blades of the opponent, lower attacks focuses on hitting the ratchet for a burst finish, and smash attacks for blades with somewhat of a flat surface that focus on sending the opponent away for KOs.
Those are really good points, and could be a really fun video to do as well going over them, thanks for sharing that, gives me another thing to work on learning about!
Focused weight distribution is good for attack types and defense types because it causes the bey to rotate off center of their axis, creating more friction with the stadium. Twisted Tempo from metal fight was infamous for this and was a top teir even in its stock combo
You may have it, but i think a video explaining attack terms and how they work like flower patterns, smash attack, barrage attack, upper attack, etc would be helpful to many people
Thanks, definitely trying to play catch up to learn it feels like lol. I feel like a lot of valuable information is on the WBO forums and discord server, also watching a variety of other channels like Beyblade Geeks, Szasse Games, ilinnuc, Noel Churchill, and Jpot which have been great for getting an understanding of the hobby.
Awesome! There are also lots of Japanese channels with a lot of in depth info about all the parts, competitive aspect and also some cool tournament footage from official events. Check it out if you want
Zankye is definitely one I plan on watching more of, there's actually a reason why I've been holding off on it that I may get into in a future video, but the testing he does definitely seems like a valuable resource for everyone, so I'm looking forward to watching his videos when I get to.
Let us add "cranking" or "clicking" launcher,it means twisting the bey more than necessary in attaching the bey to the launcher which will result in the gears deformed or the launcher becoming broken. Kids do this a lot or in the case of adults, they do this to launchers they dont own(borrowed hehe).
This channel makes me wish I got into beyblade around this time lmao I remember getting into beyblade burst when it came out and being confused when my friends and I would watch videos and wouldn’t understand the lingo that beytuners would use 💀
Maybe that's something I'll do in the future as we have more beyblades come out, I can think of some ways to integrate it, thanks for sharing your thoughts :)

Welcome to the hobbie. I've been following Beyblade since it came out in 2002 in the US. I got back into Beyblade from 2017 to now.
Thank you, I hope it's been a ton of fun since you got back in!
I definitely wish you luck on your journey fellow bladers
Thank you, and I hope you continue to have fun with it as well :)
You did an awesome job bro! Great way of explaining things!! And great video in general bro
Thank you, I really appreciate that! :)

@@BeybladeJourneyand they play to 5 points
You deserve more followers especially that you also teach new players the basics of blading ✋✨
Haha thank you, I'd say teach might be a bit strong, I just want to share what's helping me for other new players :)

about the FWD the most well known attackers that utilize it (at least for the burst meta) is the excalibur line of beys (single layer excalibur, xeno, sieg, buster and xyphoid)
the first two layers (single layer excalibur and xeno ) utilize one sharp and extended part of the layer as the main point if contact (the first one doin this better because the evolution rounded of the sword ) to produce massive amounts of recoil on contact
the next three add metal on top of the contact point to make the layer unbalance and focus all the attack power into the one point of contact sieg worked good for attack because it had a sharp point of contact buster didn't perform good because the point was rounded off and xyphoid performed really well being the best right spin attack ring at the end of the burst generation
there is also a thing that we like to call the excalibur curse
tldr
single layer good had sharp point
xeno bad had round point
sieg good had sharp point
buster bad had round point
xyphoid good had sharp point
I know this is a pretty crude way of explaining this but it should be understandable after reading the top part of the comment
sorry for the big wall of text XD
Thank you for this comment, I love this kind of detail, I appreciate you sharing that, it's definitely valuable to me :)

Thank you for the kind words, hoping I can make entertaining or informative videos for people :)
You may have it, but i think a video explaining attack terms and how they work like flower patterns, smash attack, barrage attack, upper attack, etc would be helpful to many people
That video just came out actually lol, but I missed the barrage attack for it unfortunately :(
@BeybladeJourney that's awesome news tho! Worst case scenario, you could add a pinned comment explaining barrages
Nvm, you already did! Awesome video!
Pretty cool vid, I bet your channel will grow very quickly!
Thank you, that's super nice of you to say :)
Gracias por la información 😁
Thanks for watching! :)
@@BeybladeJourney suscrito, buen día amigo!
I appreciate it!
knight shield also has a tiny bit of added metal on one place of the underside of the hollowed part (probably for meta balancing)
Thanks for that, gonna have to go look at my knight shield blades now
Very interesting and useful!
Seems like you really got into it!!

@@BeybladeJourneyI would recommend the zankye channel for more in depth competitive information

There's nothing to say you can't still get back into it, the generation is still so new you aren't missing much at all!
I think you should make a video for the beyblade parts.
Maybe that's something I'll do in the future as we have more beyblades come out, I can think of some ways to integrate it, thanks for sharing your thoughts :)

Thanks!
Hi! What is the number after the BX? Thank you!
As far as I'm aware those are just the release order, so as more get released the number will just keep going up
I do not mean to be rude, but I just wanted to let you know that Hellsscythe's bit name is Taper, not Tapered.
Thank you for that clarification!
Honestly, I just called life after death lag
I can see that making sense
