I’m not sure what my go to commercial yarn is. It probably because I haven’t yet made a complete wearable. I knit hats, scarves, and bags mostly. I can say that I love a good cotton blend yarn and/or a chainette yarn.

I really like KP Wool of the Andes for a very reasonable non superwash wool ( especially if you wait to get it in sale)
I knit a Gramps several years ago for a 1 year old and used KP City Tweed HW….it turned out really nice. It’s called a sash…sachet are the little packets for linen closets.
