@@ebkbitches6426 no but if you constantly wear it when you sleep it will eventually be permanent. Using some product will help as well, I’d say shower before you put the cap on as well

Dude I been trying to find a way to get my bangs to sit on my forhead cause it just has this poof to it and sits above my forhead unless its longer but I cut my hair short recently and its the one thing that bugs literally got a gap from my hair and forhead gonna try a durag then

I’m currently growing my hair out after using a number 1 Clipper on my head, 3 months in and my hair is weird, it’s spiky and also bends and curls at some parts like the sideburns. Before I cut my hair, I thought it would look terrible but now I think it’s not that bad. I actually like the messy sticking out hair more than the tamed one. It adds character and I just love how some spikes could just “bend” and go up, it kinda makes you stand out and stuff. Hair is amazing!

Do this for longer amounts of time and you'll notice a permanent change, i had to wear a protection cap at work every single day for 8 hours, i'd take a shower at the end of the day, and after i did this for about 30 days i noticed that my hair started growing back instead of forward, with time you can get your hair to grow the way you want it to.

That’s because you training your hair to grow in that direction as it’s growing. Cut it all back and do it without no cap/hat then it grows straight.

It's not really permanent and it usually goes back to the original form after a few weeks. Unless you do this as a very young age

I'm mexican and have this type of hair, dark, thick and sticks out everywhere, here are my 4 tips:
1- sleep with a beanie, when you wake up it'll stay flat for the rest of the day(unless you get it wet or perspire)
2- grow it out, the longer it gets the heavier it gets and it kinda staya down naturally but not that much.
3- you can just wear a cap or beanie threw out the day and you'll be fine.
4- if you bleach you're hair it gets thinner and the roots are less stiff and it stays down a bit more naturally.

5. If you feel you’re hair feels so sticky to the point you feel uncomfortable, Shave the sides and back almost clean without leaving that much hair and you don’t need to wait a month to get a haircut you could wait for 2 months maybe 3.
I slept with a beanie and it only lasted like an hour

I’m 100% Puerto Rican and I have his exact same hair. I use hats for that same reason all the time the past six years I kept my hair in short up top and a high skin fade on the sides but now I’m growing it out so I’m back to wearing hats. 😂

It's hard to get my hair cut and make it look good. I see people with cool fades but on my hair it just looks weird and like i have a triangle head because only the top lays flat ☹️
not asian but my hair does this too, i'm at 4 months post shaving currently and it still just sticks up straight. i like tying it down with a scarf, if i put a bit of gel on barely wet hair it works really well

Yeah, growing it out is always a struggle that many of us have. But be patient and grow it out another 3-4 weeks!

Ohh boi I'm really glad seeing another person suffering from the same hair issues as I do. In my case I put baby oil in my hair. It keeps my hair falling also it make it look moisturized and healthy, the only problem is that it's oily lol better not put too much.

I usually dampen my hair and put in leave in conditioner than tie a do rag around it for about an hour. And then when you take it out you just rough it back a little.

I’m Caucasian and my hair does that all the time 😅 I have thick curly hair but when I shave the sides, when they grow out they stick out to the side
I used to have this problem too on the sides only in my teen and early 20s. And would be noticeable with short hair.
But sometime in my mid 20s my hair texture changed and my hair on the side started to grow downward and straight like the rest of my hair.
So in time as you get older your hair will changed texture and not grow the same as before.
It's funny how everyone wants what they can't have, I wish my hair was more like his. Mine is wavy and wild, really hard to tame. At least with straight hair you can make it look tidier even without product.

Just let it grow until it's long and search what is the best hairstyle for this type of hair. You're not alone, I have the same problem and if your side hair is like this, I'll recommend you to go to a barbershop and ask for a taper fade.. make sure the barber know how to cut this type of hair.

I'm from India and I don't know how I got this type of hair ( May be because my tribe was originated from Thailand as per our history says). This is my first time I'm seeing anyone's hair exactly like me because no one in my whole area has this type of hair. But the problem with me is that I don't look like Asian , specially the eyes. I have the same hair, except I’m Latin/Hispanic. I absolutely hate how my hair sticks straight out in all directions. Like a straight Afro lol. I usually fade the sides and leave the top roughly about 1- 1 1/2” long, and either spike it or comb it back. If I let it grow out though I look really funny and homeless lol.
