Great video nice to be outside and not freezing
Great video enjoyed seeing the old miler get it done
I really enjoy the edit with both your father's and your perspective at the same time.
Thanks
Your dad did good job explaining the autosteer function.
Glad you liked It
Unerstoodeverwor!
Wasn’t it George explaining it not your dad?
We're a long way from getting in the fields. The gravel roads are hardly even 4x4 accessible right now. Cricks are out of the banks and over roads and waterways are full.
Snow melt?
Brian's Farming Videos most fields are still completely covered. It's working its way down though.
For a day here in Michigan this week it looked promising that spring was here. Back to snow in the forecast. But we’re always quite a ways behind you guys anyway. Really cool ride along in the sprayer.
WOW! Bob is a great youtuber. He knows how to demo and explain as well as anyone I’ve seen.
Hope your dad doesn't start his own channel and take all your subscribers, he did a great job.
Kinda one of the reasons I like cleaning out chicken houses in my area! Cover it all with crap and roll on!
Your dad is a natural when can we expect Bob's farming videos lol keep up the great work
Love your dad's segments! I could listen to him talk all day. Keep up the vids your one of my favorites!
Those boom sprayers are so cool. Especially to a non-farmer like me. Liked your dad’s demo of it from the inside. Great family.
Loving the Bob cam...your videos are getting better and better!!!
The Bob cam. Doing great Brian. Making me wish I was a farmer.
Thanks
Yeah, we will be lucky to get in around mid april
Hope the weather cooperates. How’s Europe
Brian's Farming Videos stuck in chicago. Flight got cancelled last night. Supposed to take off in a few hours.... we’ll see haha
Augh yes...the joys of farming. Frustration for sure. Thanks for sharing your day with us Brian.
Glad to see you and yor dad paying so much attention to your calibration. Most folks just spray and pray. I think your dad is cool. He dosen't seem to mind the camera.
Were all flooded here in tri state area ( Iowa,Nebraska, south Dakota) towns evacuated and most roads are closed. Been a rough calving season. Went from -30 to 3 inches of rain and 25" of snow melt in one day.
Were down in Georgia and we have already started planting corn!
Finished our top dressing on wheat yesterday down here in North Carolina. We were lucky to get our crop in the ground last October with all the rain we had from the hurricanes and other storms. We are gonna start spraying round up on tobacco ground Monday and spread some lime out. Hope to put some harrows in the ground next week. Hope it is not like last year cut beans three days rain then wait for two or three days and back to cutting.
The "Bob cam" is cool. Good job Bob on explaining the sprayer.👍👍👍👍✌️
Good video Brian great to see your dad explaining everything thanks from north east of England county Durham
It was 75 and I was hoping to get some tillage because it looked like it wouldn’t rain and stay reputedly warm but then at 8:00 we got a tornado warning and a lot of rain so that’s not gonna work. Gotta love Ohio weather! :)
I really enjoyed your dad doing some video too and explaining the auto-steer. Great videos!
Thanks for taking the time to provide the videos for us! I really enjoy them!
We just finished planting corn and sorgum and we're getting started on cotton in deep south texas
Hi Brian, you dad did a great job explaining the sprayer operation. With his experience in farming he could start his own UA-cam channel and pass out all the other UA-cam farmers in no time at all. Great content, you guys are getting busy with the start of a new production year. Good luck to all concerned.
Well the day you posted this we got 4 inches in se sd and eastern Nebraska it's a real mess with the snow melting and the rain there will not be any field work for quite some time...
That spray rig works awesome! No haste no waste.
Your neighbor has an Apache sprayer .I love sprayer videos.
Couple are our area
30 years ago I went to Washington Courthouse and had a fertilizer tender truck made. The kind with the auger straight out the back. And stayed in a little Motel. Good Times
Love you Dad running the camera, tell him thanks please, he's not as camera shy, Thanks again for the great content Joey From Statesville NC
What a fantastic video, very educational and interesting. Your dad did a great job of explaining the autosteer function. Can't wait for the next.
Man. That's dang thing is totally badass. I wanted drive it! 🚜🚜
Snow is 4 feet deep in my back yard in ND. Won't be in the field next week as you suggested in OH. But heh, we're warming up. Supposed to get to a high of 28 tomorrow.
I’m so glad you guys showed how things are done without a computer or when technology may fail. We still do the same test and always manually test the fertilizer rate on our corn planters as well. Thanks for sharing another fantastic and informative show. 🍺☕️🥓🍩🥓☕️🍺cheers mate. Ps: we still have snow on the ground so no ground work yet, thanks again.
hit 80 degrees up here in my county
Love the videos on the auto steer
Thanks Brian
I seen the big meeting of the minds at the grain bins today 😂 glad you got some stuff done
I wish we could be working like you guys. We had several inches of snow last weekend & now we had a lot of rain & a little snow the last 24 hours. We are several weeks away yet. Thanks for the video.
We have the envisio pros in a few of the older apaches we have, they work great, but the new viper 4 is like a flat screen tv
We would like to upgrade but $$$
Brian's Farming Videos were a retailer so we have a rotation with our sprayers and spreaders to keep up to date with technology, love seeing the wheat though, we probably do around 45,000 acres (multiple times on most acres) and only about 700 of that is wheat ground
Here in north Florida we are able to get in the fields and get some disking done. The temperature been in the low 70s for us
I always thought the front mounted boom sprayers were sweet. After watching your dad I think there the only kind to buy just because of the view you have when your spraying.
That’s our thought as well. We have had 2 Miller sprayers before that we had a jd4700 and the fronts are way nicer while in field. Only down fall is we have to was it every day or two
It was 71 degrees in Middletown Ohio today Thursday.
No we are far out from field work, I'm in nebraska half our state is underwater and we got more water than we can handle. Glad to see you are able to atleast be in the fields
Your dad is a pretty good job on videoing he should more .
Tell Bob his narration and camera work were excellent 👍
Soaking wet near KC. Iowa , Nebraska and the Dakota’s dealing with flooding. Finally getting into the 50’s. Had the coldest Feb on record.
Another good one. 👍👍🚜
Here in the eastern panhandle of WV I’m surprised how fast ground conditions are getting. That is except for where there is water standing or running. Fertilizing now. Maybe VT next week (today is Friday) if weather holds. Gotta charge AC in one of the tractors! Last week I was plugging it up to start it! I like that Miller with the front booms and high clearance.
80 degrees over here getting bean land ready and about to plant beans
So how many grain complexes do u have it do you only have one? New favorite farming channel!
We have 2 larger complexes and one place with a couple small bins
well here in the Netherlands we have started planting our flowers and all of the bulbs are coming up nicely we are around a week ahead of normal but still have some lack of rain from the previous year and this winter we also had around 6 inch short
What are temperatures like in that area of the world
we hardly have any freezing temperatures (maybe 5 days of snow this year in December and January) and now it is 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit for around 3 weeks. well, I live on the coast where there are sandy soils and we grow mostly flowers and bulbs ( between the big cities on the west coast) if you know Keukenhof that is near my house.
Hey nice chanel greetings from Poland Farmer :D
Greetings to you to thanks for watching
Here in west Tennessee we been building terreaces until today because of rain
Yea we been working corn ground and rice ground ......
The main switch on the joystick is the master, it turns all the section valves off, not the pump.
great vid Brian man that dump truck is a loud one
It’s a little noisy for sure
Going to start running my Subsoiler on Monday it’s been dry for a week in North Carolina and the subsoiler is A univerth ripper roller and and it’s a 9 ripper job running it on a 2016 case ih 310 magnum
Watching the snow melt here in Maine
60 degrees here in Michigan and far for getting in the fields.
Awesome Brian love to watch your video's everytime and the way you edit by the way mister BOB has to start his own channel he has already one subscriber greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
We're 80 here in Arizona we never had to get out of the fields
Yeahhhhh new video !! Thanks !!!!
Nice video. I haven't seen anyone in the fields in northern Ohio and Indiana. Most are still basically flooded. Sure hope this year isn't as wet as last year
I don’ t farm, use to help my dad. When I was younger. But I do know here in middle Tennessee no one is breaking ground. We have beat all time hi, in rain fall for February, 20 + inn. March not any better. Talking like we may be in for a time with no rain after tonight 3/14/19.🤞🤝
65° rain and sun on and off all day in Illinois today.
Temps for us have been 60s all week here in orange county (central va) we've been spreadin manure and slurry everywhere on our alfalfa and corn ground. Good weather for once!
Up in north west Wisconsin we still have a foot of snow
@10:50 We in ND just ended our below freezing (32F) the other day, Consecutive days below freezing was 63..
That’s rough
last two days in the 40s with rain with all the snow melt it is flooding all over the place with roads closed from landslides and flooding here in sw wisc.probley 5 weeks before field work
South east Missouri we are wet 4 inches this week but we have a week of dry weather ahead we hope to maybe do some burn down late next week
Used airplane to do first shot on wheat but got to spray 28-00-4 when it was frozen before thaw
WOW the Auto Steer and Auto Sprayer calibration shut off /on.. Don't you Miss the Days of Racing stripes where sprayer over lapses on the end and leaving double shot nitrogen stripes ..😲 Fields looked like bowling Lanes lol
First time I ran a sprayer with guidance and section control it was like magic couldn't really grasp that it was possible .Course I cut my teeth on foam markers and read counting so it was magic
no field here yet in ontario next week maybe
I thought the same thing about the temperature Brian, checked and sure enough in the 70s. Tail end of that frickin snow hurricane was thankfully fairly wimpy over central Ohio. You see that semi blow over out there in that wind?
Bob Cam Goldwait (comedian, wrong spelling) was amazing linguisticly this evening!
Keep the drinking game going, Pepsi obviously. Fertili.....DRINK!
Got to about 50 degrees and still have lots of snow
GO BOB GO💪💪💪
Your father’s brief demo of the Miller sprayer- controller interaction in boom spray pattern control, auto control and field set up was very good. I would appreciate him offering an opinion on what the precision technician changed or repaired to bring the system back on line after last years failure.
Did it take new software download , changing a machine configuration setting or a hardware repair to make the guidance tool work?
I believe all he did was update the display. It hadn’t been updated in a few years
I see their planting corn in Kentucky
We are flooding in Iowa
We have water standing hard to say when we can get on the ground
Here in western Iowa we are dealing with major flooding.
Sorry to hear that
Still have a foot of snow on the ground yet
It is 50 degrees north eastern missouri and wet hoping to put on some nh3 end of next week
What is fieldwork?? we could have boat or swamp buggy work. We finally got rid of all the snow but it has rained several days in a row and even well-drained soil is saturated. If we start rolling around easter I would be happy. Thinking this is going to be a late planting year. love the bob cam
Well I live in nebraska so we aren’t going to be doing much for a while
Way to wet to do any ground work here in Wisconsin
Bob's going to be youtube star before long. Seriously, though. He did a good job. Have to ask. Is the dry fertilizer going on ground that will be planted in corn? Or on the wheat crop?
Both
Slimy booger! Interesting seeing how to calibrate a spreader do you do this every year
Should do it every time we switch products I think
2 headland passes? I've never understood the corn belts fascination with 2 headland passes with a self propelled sprayer. Especially in wheat!
Hard to turn if you are beside a tree line
@@BriansFarmingVideos I've got the same sprayer buddy. Lol. It really isn't.
More power to you but this works for us
How do you like your Miller
@@BriansFarmingVideos we have the 120ft monoboom and it leaves a lot to be desired but the tractor part is great. If I could get a rogator boom on the Miller it would be a near ideal machine.
My chevy lies to me about the temp to lol
Had 77 today
We have mud 6 feet deep
That’s rough
Got a question for you Brian... Why do you do your wheat over bean ground? We always did ours behind corn. Crop rotation not a big deal anymore?
Easier to get a good stand for us
4xl? Gosh.
Fyi your ezguide in your terragator will no longer work after the 1st week of april. Contact your Trimble dealer rop upgrade to a 250 for cheap. Ask them about the GPS clock rollover. Basically y2k for GPS.
Pricing an ez steer for it
@@BriansFarmingVideos what are you putting down on the wheat with the gator?
Mes and potash
@@BriansFarmingVideos no p in the fall in furrow? Why not toss in urea and skip the first uan pass?
We usually spread in the fall but with the weather this past year it didn’t happen.
Are you streaming that 28 on? Looks like streamer nozzles!!!
Yep
Brian's Farming Videos 👍
First! Wish it was nice enough here for that...
What is '28'? I know its fertilizer, I guess what I mean is, why do you call it '28'?
It is 28% nitrogen
