@@TrevorRitchie yeah, my go-to moisturizer is clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel since 2016. Very lightweight and good for my combination skin. I noticed my skin gets drier as I age and going towards my mid 30s. I think it's better to treat different part of our face with different products for which part that is more oily and dry. Aging and wrinkles really scares me, I even moisturise my neck and my chest to my nipple line so I won't have saggy neck on my 50s. 😅
You might have a sensitivity to yellow and red dye. Also the product has fragrance, so that could be a possible issue too. There’s a lot going on in the bottle so it’s hard to say, but so glad you get on with the misha. :)
yes same happened with me too and i was wondering since there are so many positive reviews for the EL, but now i will stop using it! I will purchase the missha one i see there are many versions of Missha currently available, which one to get?
The newest Missha Time Revolution 5x Ampoule is incredible! This reformulation is amazing and definitely the best one so far. I absolutely think the Missha 5x blows away the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair!
My friend gave me a 20ml sample of the treatment essence. The result is instant, I used it for two days, and my skin is glowing. I might try the ampoule serum soon
@@TrevorRitchie can you explain about the essence that is ment to be used in this set also ? Maybe the night cream too? I'm not really sure what the essence really is.
I've been a user of k-beauty products for quite some time. It's been a while since I've used the Missha Time Revolution Ampoule. I am an esthetician and am always trying new products. But I just wanted to mention regarding the application. It has been my experience, that the way Koreans like to apply is by patting the product into the skin. They don't like to pull on the skin and usually once the product has been absorbed, the result is usually quite nice. If you have ever tried Pyunkang Yul Balancing Gel or the J.One Jelly Pack, they have a very weird jelly texture that you can't really smooth on. But once you start patting it on, it changes and is not sticky any more. It really is skintertaining.
Missha ampoule is fantastic. I have sensitive acne prone skin and I have had no problem! My skin has dramatically improved in texture and appearance using Missha. I also haven’t noticed any stickiness with Missha… it absorbs quickly and leaves a softness in my opinion. In addition, the essential oils, which I hate in skin care, are so low on the list of ingredients that I haven’t noticed or reacted negatively at all and I have reacted to essential oils in the past. I have tried EL’s serum many times and Missha’s by and far surpasses EL’s. In my opinion, don’t waste your money on EL. If you are concerned about essential oils, test a small area first. Also, EL serum contains synthetic dyes to color the product which can be harmful (low on the list but something to consider for that price tag).
ugh i’m so jealous! i have sensitive acne prone skin too and this missha stuff is breaking me out so bad that i dont even want to push past the purging period to it potentially being good. i feel like it’s the fragrance (whether its natural or artificial it definitely has a smell) and i was really hoping i’d like it :(
It is not clear to me why you prefer the estee lauder serum to the misha one besides the texture and the fact that time revolution contains essential oils. My question is what benefits brings the estee lauder serum for the skin that misha doesn't? I'm interested in both serums and I need objective reasons why I would pay that much for the anr. I understand that in case of the anr the customer pays the brand, but is it really worth the money?
Hi Ioana, I prefer the results, texture and product experience of Estee Lauder ANR serum vs Missha NRA serum. However, if you have budgetary constraints and want to try something similar - NRA is a great way to approach Advanced Night Repair without spending too much money. Thank you for watching and enjoy :)
5:17 you are wilin you can NEVER go wrong with essential oils , it’s natural orange peel is for the Vitamin C , lavender has a calming effect , best for inflamed skin
i was wondering why there was hate for the essential oils too. not a bad addition at all. western trends will have people doing a 10 step skin care routine whereas this bottle seems to imclude it all in 1
@@missaok8092I knew they had to have a therapeutic effect since the serum itself is unscented. If your skin is sensitive to the essential oils, don’t use them, but I doubt they just threw them in for no reason.
i am using the ELANR serum at the moment. it feels incredible on skin, and i have atopic dermatitis on face inc. eye lids. But this serum doesn’t trigger any breakout, and even seems like to calm down the eczema spots. Anyway, the skin feels really plump in the morning. haven’t try the missha one, but even if it feels different upon application, if the result is similar, i will try and use it for sure. it would save me hundreds a year. thanks Trevor. xx

I have been using the ANR since the age of 18 on and off and I am 55 now. I have always loved it but with so many active ingredients around the market now and the use of Retinal and Tretinoin lately sometimes there is no room for more serums. However, I just started using ANR am and pm before my tret and I am happy with it. We have a 50% discount on ANR now so I stocked and the Missha serum is about the same price so I am stuck with ANR for now. Awesome informative video!! I am currently using Missha and really enjoy it...although I had no idea about the essential oils...so that's food for thought! I am getting great results but will decide once I've finished the product. A pump would be great although I am a huge fan of the Drunk Elephant sealed packaging!

Hi Trevor! What do you think about the Oleths in the Estée Lauder one? Especially in terms of comedogenity and whether Estee is more likely to break you out then the Missha one
Hello! I have not experienced any breakouts when using Estee Lauder OR Missha Night Repair :) Thankfully! Although I do recommend trying it out first. Thanks for watching!
I totally get that! I prefer the texture and skin feel of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex vs Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule. However, I do love the fermentation process in Missha Time Revolution!

You spoke mainly about the product itself, rather than your personal experience with the product. So, I couldn't get any good info out of this video other than the missha one is cheaper than the Estee lauder along with the ingredient list. like after watching this video, I still dont know which one to buy, you nvr gave "final thoughts" or concluded the video. so, if you could be more specific next time and actually compare and contrast with your personal experience and the product that would be much more helpful. btw no hate, just thought it could be better.

I use Missha and have been for one full year and people all the time stop and ask me what I use on my face. I’m 45 years old and have no wrinkles. However, I just started using ANR am and pm before my tret and I am happy with it. We have a 50% discount on ANR now so I stocked and the Missha serum is about the same price so I am stuck with ANR for now.
I am wondering though about the percentage of ingredients, the ones that matter, when there is such a long list. I will try the Missha one in the future though.
Great video Trevor. Let me subscribe now xx
How’d you get a discount?
@@notsurewhat2put We have either a 35% discount or 50% about three or four times a year here in Greece.
I think they added the lavender because it's a night 🌙 treatment? and also to satisfy those who adore Kiehls 'night' serum?? 🤷♀️
Is missha or estee lauder serums can be used befor makeup Some serums make makeup oxidize
Estee lauder
Awesome informative video!! I am currently using Missha and really enjoy it...although I had no idea about the essential oils...so that's food for thought! I am getting great results but will decide once I've finished the product. A pump would be great although I am a huge fan of the Drunk Elephant sealed packaging!
Oh wow, great minds - both trying Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule at the same time! Have you tried Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex before? And YESSSS, I LOVE a sealed package! @esteelauder are you listening?!
@@TrevorRitchie I tried the EL a couple of years back but not the new formula. So thats on my list!!
@@marion4739 OMG yes, you have to add the new formula of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair to your skin care wish list ASAP.
Can you do a review on Biotherm blue source serum. I used to l o v e Esther 's A.N.R untill I tried the blue source serum. The morning proved my skin!!!
Hi I have just found you after looking into to skin care and thank you you explain it perfectly and look forward to watch your previous videos. Love from 🇬🇧 ❤️x
Welcome to the family Steph! I hope you enjoy catching up on videos ❤️ stay in touch.
@@TrevorRitchie thank you 🙏 I’m loving your videos they are helping so much, more than you will ever realise ❤️🇬🇧 x
Hello
What about all these essential oils in missha wont harm the skin? Thank you
Hello! I prefer not to put essential oils on my skin - they can contain potential allergens and harm the skin.
@@TrevorRitchie thank you so much
@@itaouigiuliana6252 you are very welcome.
have u tried the new formular of misha has it actually improved?
Hi Titanius! I have no tried the new formula yet but I have it here on my desk :) I will get to work ASAP.
Just luv luv all your videos! And I absolutely love the missha night repair I can totally see a change
Thanks Malissa! I appreciate your support ❤️
I loved comparing ANR vs NRA
Can I still use this kind of serums after using Niacinamide or hyaluronic acid Serum?
Yes you can :)
Thank you! ☺@@TrevorRitchie
Tried Missah didnt like it did nothing for me..Prefer E Lauder ive noticed the difference between the two..
I totally get that! I prefer the texture and skin feel of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex vs Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule. However, I do love the fermentation process in Missha Time Revolution!
I love, love, love the ANR but the Missha sounds good for the price, I might try it. even though i would like to see them remove the oils.
the pump is such and awesome idea! it would be so much better with one.
always look forward to your videos!
Thanks again IRIS! We need to get a hold of Estee Lauder and let them know about this pump idea for Advanced Night Repair! Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule is definitely worth trying and comes down to personal preference. Let me know if you pick it up!
@@TrevorRitchie I have enough ANR for like 6+ months but when I have to buy it again, if I decide to give missha a try I will for sure let you know how it goes.
@@irischevez7050 I do LOVE my Estee Lauder ANR serum
I have tried both. Kinda feel that MISSHA isn't that moisturizing. But I am going to finish the bottle.
After using the entire bottle, I agree with you!
Ok I am gonna buy the Missha one for my upcoming birthday this May 1! Thank you for the very in depth review! New subscriber here!
Welcome to the family :) Happy early birthday to you! You'll need to give me your full review of Missha NRA serum when you get it.
@@TrevorRitchie I can't find it in stock anywhere. It says discontinued
I just received the Missha for 1/2 off. Nothing much bothers my skin so we shall see! If I sleep in it, I'm not too worried about texture.
P.S. New Subscriber :)
Welcome to the family! I loved trying Missha NRA compared to Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. Let me know how you like the Missha serum :)
One month later - how are you going with the Missha?
@@lisas3lway2 Hi Lisa! I've been using the Missha serum mixed in with my daily moisturizer. I prefer the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair as a stand alone serum (I like the texture and glow better) ... But I also enjoy the ingredients of Missha! So I don't mind using either one in different ways.
That is great advice! Thank you :)
I’m going to stick to Estée Lauder, my sensitive skin would hate the lavender and orange 🥺
I don't know why they put lavender and orange in the formula! Hopefully they'll remove it in the next formulation.
It’s the ‘meh’ for me 😆 you are gorgeous! Thanks for the review. ANR user here. I feel ugly without it 😂. Just that I am looking for a cheaper dupe.
Thank you so much :)
Omg great video. Both neutral and beautiful expression ❤️🤛🏻👍🏻
Thank you!! 😁 Have you tried Advanced Night Repair or the Missha serum before?
@@TrevorRitchie I've tried Advanced Night Repair Serum. And just like you described. But I live in Turkey and here 2 serum is also incredibly expensive. I was just wondering if I should change my next shopping. Your comments have helped me a lot :))
Amazing video, thanks for the info!
Glad it was helpful! Have you ever tried Estee Lauder ANR or Missha NRA serum before?
once i switched to k beauty - i never looked back.
I want to find a duplicate of SL eye cream
Please let me know!
I hated missha's night repair serum; it did not feel the same as estee lauder's repair serum on my skin
Hi Eeluon, I agree that Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule does not feel like Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair on the skin.
I slowly switching to missha or more Asian skin care products. It works better for my skin I'm finding US products irritatey skin or case little bumps or pimples on my skin. I got lots of free samples from ordering from missha :). Packaging was so pretty didn't want to open anything lol
Thanks for sharing!! Have you tried Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule before?
@@TrevorRitchie I got a sample of it. Haven't tried it yet.
2:33 Missha is more transparent/see-through while Estee is blurrier and thicker
I love that observation :)
I’m loving the ANR line. I’m considering trying missha. But worry I won’t like it.
I love Estee Lauder ANR serum as well but it was fun to compare it to Missha Night Repair Ampoule! Let me know your Missha NRA review if you try it!
ASMR video, please. Your voice is soooo soothing. Also- Missha is one of the BEST of Korean beauty. Fantastic.
I need to do an ASMR skin care routine AND get my hands on more Missha skin care products.

Where can I get the Misha serum? I don’t want to get a fake
The Missha website is a great place to shop Missha skin care products!
@@TrevorRitchie thank you! *adds to cart 😁
@@agripinagomez9078 YAY!
hate how estee uses red and yellow dyes. like why. there are so many more beneficial ingredients that can be used for color.
Estee lauder little lighter in colour. Missha little darker and thicker
Great job at noting those differences!
I USE *MANYO FACTORY BIFIDA COMPLEX* (NOT THE BIOME VERSION) AND IT WORKS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ESTEE LAUDER AND MISHA... NO FRAGRANCE, SHORT AND EXCELLENT INGREDIENTS; Bifida Ferment Lysate (60%), Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Fruit Ferment Filtrate (30.1%), Niacinamide, Butylene Glycol, Copper Tripeptide-1, Aureobasidium Pullulans Ferment, Panax Ginseng Callus Culture Extract, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Glycerin, Physalis Alkekengi Fruit Extract, Caffeine, Hydrolyzed Algin, Red Ginseng Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Adenosine, Methyl Gluceth-20, Epigallocatechin Gallate.
This sounds lovely. I would love to try it!
oof, I agree; a pump would be so great. Like the Neogen serum which is kindaaaa similar I think? I've only tried the Missha so I can't compare, but after watching this I do think I will indeed stick with Missha. The store where I get my Foreo masks from sometimes gives samples, I got the EL eye cream once (so good) maybe one day I get lucky enough to have the serum sample too :D Thanks for the informative video!
Thanks again Lulu! We need a pump ASAP! I'll be doing a review of Neogen very soon :) And omg, the EL eye supercharged complex makes the skin feel soooo smooth.
@@TrevorRitchie Yesh, it feels so silky! I guess the serum has a similar feel. Looking forward to your neogen review :D I bought their whole probiotics package last week, can't wait till it arrives ^-^

Of course Missha already tried and is good for 35$
It's not bad for 30 bucks! But I also loooove Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair!
estee lauder for ever .
I ♥️ your voice .
I love YOU! Thank you so much :)
You forgot to mention Missha's patented probio delivery system, it's unique & is said to deliver the actives better. 😉
I prefer a PUMP all the way
I knew I wasn’t the only one! We deserve a pump on the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum and Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule!
I want that too
I use Missha and have been for one full year and people all the time stop and ask me what I use on my face. I’m 45 years old and have no wrinkles. I’m sure it’s partially genetics because my mother and grandmother have beautiful skin but I do believe it’s also because we take care of our skin. We use SPF everyday also.
However, since I’ve started using Missha I do get more compliments, at least once a week one person asks what my skin routine is. 💕 Try Missha. It’s worth it.
Have you reviewed this Estee Lauder Micro Essence? The limited edition bottle is too cute but need to know how it performs on young skin? Thanks stay fabulous
I have not reviewed it yet but I will VERY soon :) Stay tuned! I love the advanced night repair line.
