I just got the same for my Silverado after you commented on my last post about the light output of your spyder headlights. Had them on for a month and they are amazing and the looks alone definitely make up for the price!!

I like the sequential look. I’ve used TRS for all my HID stuff.
Can't recommend The Retrofit Source enough. I got a universal Morimoto bi-xenon projector kit for my Prelude's headlights a while back. Had some issues with my ballast and got a new one shipped out to me in a two days from Georgia (I'm in Houston, Tx) for free. Definitely a good place for lights!

I was gonna do these for mine. But instead I went with AlphaRexUSA NOVA Series headlights. Gave a little more for mine but they're totally worth it. Keep up the great work!
Love the new headlights man👌 the floor and cabinets just flow sooo well together. Glad to see more truck content. Next mod to the truck should be a 4” lift and get an actual lift kit on the truck but without raising the over all height of the truck! Or change up the wheels and tires and with something new. Great videos man! Keep it up!
May be saving up for a real suspension upgrade this year... we'll see
1- keep them the sAme as the mirrors. Looks nice matching IMO.
2- Those deffinitly ARE the lights. I will have to invest in them soon.

Your truck is super clean buddy. Don’t do sequentials. Solid flash to match the whole truck. If you want sequentials you shoulda bought a mustang.

I’m running just some cleared aftermarket headlamps, and 35w Morimoto HIDs and my light output is phenomenal! I was never really an fan of projects cause you always see that line where the cut off at. But yeah look into Morimoto! Little pricy but well worth the money!
Morimoto has the best aftermarket lights! Can't ever go wrong with them. They look amazing and me personally, I wouldn't paint match the headlights. They look great as they are.

i bought these right after they came out in October of 2019 and right out of the box the driver side light didn't even work but i got it replaced and have loved them no issues since
I didn't have a single problem with them and I did put them on my 2013 Model. The headlights are beautiful and The Retrofit Source are great guys that really take the time to help out their customers. I'm glad you got your headlights in good working order. HAVE FUN...

I did as well and I've had problems out of the passenger side with it's LED and BOTH of the inner housings melting from the projector magnifying the sun and melting the housing . TRS told me they have a revision coming out soon, but I have been dealing with this since Nov 15th
Garage is tight, but still need a drink station of some sort. Gotta have a cold beer while working in the garage. Those headlights are on point too. Need to look into them for my truck.

I had these since they released and they are very amazing.
By far the best aftermarket light out there. Both looks and hardware. But for those who have the spyder headlights, and don't want to spend the $ for these, you can buy just the projectors that are in these and upgrade to the same d2s hid's. If you can seperate the lense for painting, you can retrofit them with better projectors. All sold at the retrofit source.
If I could start all over, I would do exactly this. Maybe I'll do a set just for fun

Could you post a link to where you got these for a Sierra. And what year? Morimoto brand? They do not exist anywhere. TRS says coming soon for over a year.

Now it's time for a soundbar with the TV to play some tunes in the garage AND some better garage lighting to do detail work indoors ;)
I also think it would be a cool detail to get a custom plastic license plate to put in that empty bracket up front!

They looks awesome and sequential looks good, but I think keeping it blinking just looks better and more normal if that makes any sense?
They look great, IMO you should do clear Lamin-x on those to help protect them from stone chips and fading. Relatively cheap insurance.

Love the headlights been thinking about getting them. My only question is the part when you’re driving down the road why are there empty circle spots? Do they get filled in with fog lights? Or can you not really see them because of the hood?
I know your comment is old, but yes, the Morimoto fog lights will fill those holes. It irks me that they're there considering how expensive they are but I drive with the fog lights on every night so it's whatever.
Great vid was jus thinking about purchasing these when I saw your video. Had same idea, wanted newer look for the truck but the lights I were getting weren’t giving me the output and performance that I wanted an the hids I installed wouldn’t last. Leds wouldn’t fit. Jus hate the price of these tho. What type of bulbs do these use?

Driver side.. when headlights have projectors u put LEDs but they dont really work.. they need HID I found out the hard way... but HID work better in that case... vlog is 100% keep it up
You have to use h1 bulbs I believe, I've used led and hid, the hids are so bright and the light isn't scattered at all..

I used to have the same head lights you got rid of on my 2013 LTZ and I went back to oem because they were junk! Didn’t like the dull lights and the Fitment was off!

You should add some fog lights, or LED cubes in the front as replacement for the fog lights
Ok so I have a 2011 Silverado and the plug that you showed is totally different than what I have on my truck. I do like the lights but can't see half a months pay in lights I'll just stay with my light bar.

I have been running those headlights for about a month or so now. I have the same boost auto mirrors and I went with sequential. I was wondering what the purpose of the fuse tap wire was because if you don’t plug it in the lights still work. I was hoping the daytime running light would be the c but on my lights it is the center projector. I noticed that you had a clip of just the c if you could let me know how you did that it would be appreciated.
To get just the "C" to run, you have to turn the parking lamps on... If I ever figure out how to wire them differently for the "C" to run as the DRL i'll let you know
I'm waiting on TRS to release these for the 7.5-13 Sierra. How do the DRL's look on a bright day? My spyders where not that bright at all. Hopefully these are as bright as factory lights or brighter.
How do these compare to factory drl's outside on a bright sunny day? No one seems to show this which leads me to believe they fail, like the spyder's do. Hopefully that are as good. Can't understand why know one will show this, or answer in comment. Thanks
Cool video but call me crazy I like my stock lights , what I did do is change my grill it's not as heavy duty like the original but it looks awesome and it stands out from the rest.

Please disable the sequential feature. Looks hundreds of times better as one very bright bar. Vs looking like eBay light strips. The truck is super clean and I feel like sequentials are the excessive camber of the light game.

You'll have an issue with the paint bubbling up next to the projector due to the heat, I have the same lights and after two weeks of using them that problem came up, and I'm not the only one. Now if only TRS would reply back to my emails.

Hi. Was wondering if you had any hyper flash with your turn signals with the morimoto Xb and boost auto tow mirrors. I have the exact setup and my passenger side turn signal has hyper flash with the truck running.
I’ve never had any hyper flash issues (fortunately).

go with the sequential. those lights look like the 2014 plus to 2018 serria lights almost. more like the ones on the 2017 year and similar years.

Same issue with mine TRS says it is from the projector lens magnifying the sun and melting the inner housing, both of mine are doing it. I am waiting on a revision of the headlights from TRS they say it will be soon, but I have been dealing with this since Nov 15 2019.

Those headlights are pretty cool. Only knock on them, is for the price I wish they had a little more unique style. Its basically just a cbar and looks like a GMC. Wish they would have been a little more creative in the design. Also would prefer a more smooth LED bar. Just my particular taste

Yea mine also (2011 ext cab ) . I used some jb weld for plastic and it’s holding up really well. No rattles. Really recommend it
