I've been looking into this company compared to JDMastar and I would love to tell the difference. I have had my JDMastar LEDs for about 2 years now and they are amazing. I want to compare the so and see if there is a difference

Actually the original Factory reverse bulbs are not halogen, they're just plain incandescent bulbs. Halogen bulbs always have a gas in it and you'll notice like a nipple at the top of the glass where it has been sealed completely to retain the gas.
my 07 silverado is silver and even on that i hate the red taillights going black or smoked and i love the led look

I ordered these and my 2010 gmc uses a 194 bulb for the back up lights, do you have 3157's because your taillights are aftermarket?
My wiring and connectors are still stock. Only the lenses are aftermarket. This video was made 4 years ago so there is a chance the recommended bulb has changed. I would trust the website reco 🤙🏽
I ordered a set after seeing this video and while they are bright to look at they don't illuminate the rear view very well. I contacted them asking if there was more than one version because honestly I'm disappointed. Their high beams on the other hand I am satisfied with.
I installed a led light strip that has reverse, turn and stop all in one. You should install those.

Does Hawaii make you put registration stickers on your bumper? Usually they go on the license plate in all other states I've lived in. Also it's funny how my 2012 Silverado owners manual says the backup bulb is a 921 Long Life. I'll pull my tail light assembly to verify.
Will those same bulbs fit a 03 Silverado?

I have Lasfit everything but headlights I had the low version they sucked but then I saw the best one they sell is pretty damn good so I may end up with them too if my auxbeam ones go out

On your cargo lights bought lasfit bulbs but cargo light don't come on when you open door,only works if you turn knob inside truck any clues.2009 Silverado 5.3l cc

I don't believe so. You should be able to ask them from their website.
Yeah..very bright but just how reliable are they gonna be... Expensive ... look good but how reliable are they ?? Your last Amazon ones looked good but you say they are 3 years old and failing..?? Its not as if reversing lamps are on for hours at a time so thats actually very poor for them to fail... Ive got a Honda CRV and have changed some of the bulbs - headlamp - side light - rear indicator - and reversing lights only so far. Not keen on changing stop/tail lamps cos a lot of people say the tail lamp is too bright and theres only a slight difference when you hit the brakes... Retro fitting an old light fitting with an LED bulb that it wasnt designed for is cool if the LED array suits the reflector but some designs may not be suitable for all lamps..

Did you ever have any issues with your Headlight Harnesses having shorts in the wiring? I've been through 2 sets of harnesses and they've all given me problems. It's getting irritating having to take my truck apart to work on them.

No drone from the borla. I used to have a terrible drone with the Cherry Bomb, but no issues any more.

good video, I been using lasfit for some time, they are the brightest, only detail in your video, original back up bulbs are NOT halogen, they are just incandescent bulbs, halogen are mostly used in headlights
You understand that halogen bulbs ARE incandescent, right? But not necessarily vice versa.
yes, you're right, both are incandescent and both uses tungsten filament, the difference is that halogen bulbs have an inert gas inside the bulb and regular incandescent don't, in this case regular small lamps or bulbs that you see in stop, turn signal reverse or parking lights are not halogen, I hope I didn't offend you with my comment, I just want to share some information so your videos can be even better and your viewers and followers don't get confused, congratulations for your videos and for sharing
@@omarvaldes84 Most incandescent bulbs are filled with an inert gas - typically argon, nitrogen, krypton, or krypton+xenon - though some (perhaps these) only use vacuum.
However, a halogen incandescent lamp is filled with a mixture of an inert gas and a small amount of a halogen such as iodine or bromine. The combination of the halogen gas and the tungsten filament produces a halogen cycle chemical reaction which redeposits evaporated tungsten to the filament, increasing its life and maintaining the clarity of the envelope.

Not yet. Still considering going HID. No LEDs i've found will fit due to the fan.

Look into the Supernova perfect fit series for the headlight upgrade. Have seen other brand fit also with some minor modification. Cheers.
