SXM: Boat Work & Fun- Ep.124

Busy week buzzing around both the French and the Dutch side of Saint Marten/ Sint Maarten. We take down our headsail and drop it off for repairs at the sail shop and find a new washing machine and install it, which twice the work since the first machine had a cracked drum!! Ugh. We also enjoy the sites and some delicious food while we meet up with friends.

Welcome back to St Martin. You mentioned about lumber at the hardware store... what did you need? 2x4's? Also, what happened to the old washer? 2 years doesn't seem like a long time?

Luckily this time we didn’t need any lumber. We were just making it known. I guess the drum bearings didn’t like the salty air or being constantly sloshed around underway🤷🏻‍♂️. The new one seems like it has a higher build quality so hopefully it will last longer. Hope you guys are doing ok.
