- I had to try the amazing table-side caesar salad at the home of it's creation, Caesar's Hotel and Restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico. A wonderful meal with wonderful friends!

I’d sooo LOVE to go there! Caesar salad is my absolute fave. I make my own using the original recipe and it’s sooo YUM!

You got me twisted with only one crouton and making me cut up my own lettuce
When only the freshest will do.. Use this traditional recipe and enjoy a great salad, the way it was intended.. Even if you don't think you like anchovies, you will.. It adds an umami flavor that you will enjoy.. You can put less in too, but I highly recommend that you do not omit them.. Also, when you use a wooden spoon and bowl, it adds to the authentic experience rather than doing it in a food processor or mixer.. Your guests will be impressed with your culinary skills! If you've never tried it, get the ingredients and make one.. When you grill a peice of chicken, it can serve as a main rather than side.. Make sure you've got top quality parmesan too.. It's a main ingredient in this salad.. It would be a crime to use all fresh ingredients and then use Kraft green can parmesan cheese.. Get yourself some Parmesan Regiano.. Grate it fresh right before you make the salad.. Bon Appétit

this specific recipe at this hotel uses lime instead of lemon. theres another video on ty i saw and the waiter lists the ingredients.

Not it was one of his chefs an italian guy who made it sfter his shifts, ceasar the owner liked it and took the name for himself and took all the credit.
