Two questions for my students. 1. Should homunculi be afforded the same rights as humans? 2. Due to their various defects, should the creation of homunculi be banned altogether?
Homunculi should if made to have a purpose be left to the job the job they are made for like guarding a place or object or help with working in a library or archive after being made aware of right from wrong and what should and shouldn't be done in certain situations. But if made to be weapons for battle or war should always be watched over because of what they could and possibly would go through in a fight(s). As for whether they should be created or not I'm not sure because if you ban homunculi what about familiars where does the line stop between the two at certain points and or times?
For the second point, I think Homunculi could be the salvation of dying Mage families, if allowed to be fertile and given full rights with full autonomy. A Mage that was infertile or otherwise incapable of producing an Heir could theoretically use their own genetic material to create a powerful Homunculus in their image, and pass their Crest onto their creation. Even if this eventually resulted in a lineage of purely Homunculi, I believe for many this may be an acceptable price to pay to keep their legacy and knowledge alive.
1. I think that Homunculi off all makes should be treated with some level of care, respect and even a tiny level of caution no matter what purpose they were designed and created for. Depending on the level of sentience and intelligence (as well as their ability to increase both) they should *at the very least* have fundamental rights similarly to animals like say canines who are used in a variety of different fields across history and even today. When it comes to much more intelligent and clearly sentient homunculi who are nearly impossible to tell apart from regular human then they should have the same rights as humans 2. I do not believe so, I believe it is possible for the process and creation of homunculi can be ironed out, possibly even perfected. To leave an art and science like that completely banned I feel is ignorant. Besides many of the Homunculi we adore and love can be categorized as "defected" yet we are happy that they were brought into existence.
1. I believe they should have at least the right to be able to make decisions know the ways of right and wrong they were creating a world that have these rules and for them to just be used as tools is already in fair enough giving them some form of understanding to grab hold will make their purposes even more meaningful. 2.Homunculi are are a part of mage craft getting rid of them would be erasing the entire craft due to their defects it is cruel but that is the mission of us Mages to try and find a solution so that we can bring them in a more humane way and to perfect our Mage craft that is the challenge that is given to us. We will never find success without the errors and we must learn from them and do our best to correct them or to be better.

Very interesting overall. But end wish with was less shined on as the lot of them were sacrificed for the few that remained. Very tough ethical delema
@UCyadJgLKFMbynE20cAHTNVg so if someone is born dead or comatose they aren't alive? The Different factors of life in fate is exactly why they should be judged on what truly is alive or not. Illya kinda gets justeave mindset as zouken said and you see justeave in the third war as well.
Think of it as you building a robot that is made to build robots and you die but the robot still is making robots
Do the mage families use homunculi to mass produce magic crests? Seems like it would be a good way to not only get multiple crests but to speed up there development.
I dont think it works that way for crests. You kinda have to build those up the hard way.
@@OtakuDaiKun oh fair enough then.
I pity Homunculi. They deserve freedom and happiness like any human.
Seig is broken.
Sensei ✋a question what's the difference between homunculus and mondern-term clone
Not much difference. Usually a homunculus is born to have magic circuits but I guess a clone may not.
id say Seig and Iris are my favorite Homunculi but Rani is a close 3rd Mordred and Mephistopheles fight for 4 and illiya is someone i cant rank since ill be assassinated for it
Can you do a video explaining the Ultimate Ones?
Can u check out phantasmal species
I'll take note of it^^
@@OtakuDaiKun thx
Question, does Humonculi posses short-life spans or longer? And why usually the Eizbern's humonculi are mostly albino with red eyes?
The einzbern homunculi are most all made from the same blueprint.
I love the poor Homunculi, yes teacher/professor Dai, I would prefer them being treated as human, nut no, I would aprove and endorse the creation of homunculi in order to master and be able to perfect this craft, for the good of mankind and of homunculikind
Wait so since despite their adult looks they're actually only a few years or months old. Doesn't that mean Leysritt and Sella are actually not legal?
Oh no... *sweats*
Edit: Wait how was Kiri able to get away from the FBI?
It was in germany lol
@@OtakuDaiKun Oof- I keep forgetting the Einzberns are from Germany. In fact, back when I was still a weeblet I always thought Illya was Russian because of her Fur Coat and stuff. Only realized she was German when I watched Fate Zero XD
Indeed, Kiritsugu was a sexual deviant who groomed a bride from birth.
@@joshs5577 It's not as cut and dry. He had no intention of falling in love with her at first. He knew she was essentially a tool to sacrifice as a vessel for the grail. Then he was all "ah crap, I think I love her."
@@OtakuDaiKun oh I know I more meant it as a joke. Obviously that’s not what actually happened but the framing is that Kiritsugu took a few month old baby and essentially taught it everything it knew and then married it. It’s a joke I’ve seen a few times in the fandom.
Professor! Question! Are touko's dolls considered homunculi?
No those are automata. Closer to a familiar.
@@OtakuDaiKun wow..thank you for the knowledge professor!
@@OtakuDaiKun can't wait for your next lesson on curses professor! I made my own mage character with his background and all that and coincidentally he uses curses and witchcraft etc. Can't wait!
Right,nobody asked about Actual Machines.
How can you complain about her flaws where you and your shortsightedness Played a massive role in those flaws
Mashu Kyrielight is also a homunculi, one that has the same lifespan just like all of us after Cath Palug aka Fou revives, is her case similar to the homunculis you've mentioned in this video or she has a different case?
She's a designer baby, it's a slight difference worth covering in another video.
In definitely using homunculi for my harem
Medicinal Magecraft or Healing Magecraft ?
My standing on if they have human rights. It all depends on the person. Illya sella Liz yeah totally and most are made of human DNA anyways. Made of clay or something else if they are just golems then it's just a doll. Sieg would have been more interesting if he fought for the world's homuculus.
Also reminds me of tales of the abyss as you see replica who just living kill some humans they were cloned from and cause a huge world issue but the replica say it well in just because they were born from someone they shouldn't be tied down to them like luke and asch situation.
I mean I doubt a maker of a living doll would be charged for killing it as the magus world is not the same rules for morals on that and Gilgamesh even brings this up.
Overall it's just playing god and many stories doing that only lead to ruin as each story did lead to that.
WHERE'S THE DANCINGGGG
Huh?
@@OtakuDaiKun I meant where's mashu and artoria but i kinda figured it's a reupload so maybe that's why
So did illya die shortly after the end of the fate route?
It's heavily implied.
@@OtakuDaiKun I figured as much
Until part of her became Part of the Counter Force, until Chloe is born.
@@Lemuel928 funny thing is that would be pretty interesting but chloe is basically if fate stay night illya's memories got replaced
bell squad
Interesting. MOST DEFINITELY interesting, INDEED!
YES! They should be given the same rights as Humans.
Should it be banned? That I don't know.
Was this video taken down and now resposted or something?
No, it was exclusive to paid supporters till now.
@@OtakuDaiKun That's odd, because I found it in a playlist from your channel I believe.
@@opinionofmine3238 Nah, that was some other person screwing me over lol
@@OtakuDaiKun Yikes my apologies then.
@@opinionofmine3238 Lol it's not that bad. Only a small number of people found it through that playlist anyway, and it's not like it wasn't being monetized.
Like all other people arrogance is the ultimate downfall of people especially that of mages
I'm confused of the video's upload time and some comments
Probably patreons getting videos early.
Paid supporters got this a while back.
I don't understand how Nero's Noble Phantasm doesn't count as a reality marble. She's literally pulling you into the golden theater Domus Aetus Aurea
I didn't make that rule.
Iliya noooooo !!!! Rip
Artificial Humanoids, the term in more science fictional universe synthetic human, kind of like the androids from Aliens, in DnD the final and greatest,...pardon the pun the Holly Grail of many mages is the creation of Advanced Homunculi, that is completely soulless, this is to serve as the vessel to when the Wizard or Sorcerer becomes a lich, transferring his soul into these host bodies, yes many of them, also being an Advanced Homunculi means the perks of the human body without the downsides of ageing, and getting poisoned, the body if damaged severely can be healed by sleeping in sarcophagos which is placed on a ley line, thus also recharging the body, in short severe limb is grown back in a day,
They can be infused with a mind as it will create soldiers or workers, now before people say let's make your own clone army, it's not easy to maintain them since the procedure can backfire, and while they might have a short life span or even not age normally like really slow, they will stop doing everything if their master is dead, so no,
And to answer your question, yes I am working on cloning dead celebs, in Advanced Homunculi bodies,
Typical mage, just don't mention Chaldeas demi-servant homunculus, focus on the sentient plushy instead, who cares about dumb old dead guys like sir Galahad anyway, right?
Jk, but really, loving these videos.
