True, that's something to admire. I'm 30 now and kind of coming to terms with the genius of artists, most of whom did this shit at such a you age. While I, a 30-year-old, go to work at a hotel.

Something great about Mayhem : Half of the fucking band is bass. Massive, crushing bass. It’s a wall of sound that blends right in with the guitar and makes everything twice as badass. Fucking killer.
It definitely helps that the second guitar track (if there even is one?) is practically a thin layer of extra feedback on top of of the bass.

@@Dyz-hd8of beginning of second wave black metal that is
@@chasethepig3975 the first wave of black metal bands is characterized by bands that don't play black metal according to current standards, the only exception being BATHORY who play on the first black thrash albums. Chainsaw gutsfuck is like the black metal anthem
Read the lyrics. "Chainsaw gutsfuck" is not "black" metal but proto death metal
@@vitaleslam5386 whatever be its black metal to me
@@l0nlym1lk17 Ok but truth is that Mayhem had never played "black metal" til' early 90s. Their lyrics weren't occult or satanic but mostly about gore themes. For example, in 1987 the real proto black metal bands were Morbid ("December Moon" demo) or Mortuary Drape ("Necromancy" demo). Mortuary Drape's song "Primordial" is a real black metal anthem
@@vitaleslam5386you don’t necessarily have to write occult-themed lyrics for it to be black metal though.
