I love all the Oruk clans and enjoy playing them in Warcry. I have a stack of Gloomspite Gitz that I haven't built yet but I will get around to them eventually.
Quality work and analysis as always. I am now convinced I need to add kruleboys to my horde of warbands, as their aesthetic and rules integrate well into game play. Thanks for your thorough overviews. They are indispensable.
Thanks for the kind words! If you haven’t seen, Kruleboyz took second at NoVa over the weekend. They are making waves and more people are starting to take note. One of those “under the radar” factions. I love them with or without allies
Thank you so much! Kruleboyz are very nasty in the game, i'm a big fan the giant gnashtoof killaboss, chopped so many chaff units once he get in the battle
The Boltboy Boss can be very nasty. Once taken out of a Twist format, his damage becomes very reliable. I’ve done a lot of work with him. I love the Gnashtoof, he’s just a bit too clunky for me. On the right board, he’s quite the menace though! Kruleboyz are up there as my favourite faction right now. Very slept on in my opinion
Iron Golems are for sure on my list of upcoming factions. As a quick overview - they are one of the best bespoke warbands right now thanks to their access to some of the most point efficient models in the game. They are hard to shift, hit hard, and rely on their stats to power through. Their abilities aren’t the best to make up for this, but that’s a small sacrifice to pay. Really solid faction and a great starting point. Plus their Ogor Breacher is A LOT of fun and bits stupid hard for a low price. The Iron Golems work with as single box faction but have a lot of room for growth as you get more experienced.
I went full meme for my Kruleboyz Warband. River Pirate themed, "Big Gutz Privateerz", which I based off the Stan Rogers' shanty "Barrett's Privateers" Bolt Boss, Shaman, 2x Pot Grots, 5x Hobgrots, and an Ally Ogor Thunderfist. Just a goofy ranged list full of cannons, and flintlock pistols (Hobgrots grenades). Currently modelling them for casual play with buddies, we'll see how they fare. Even if I get trounced, that's in keeping with the narrator's tale in Stan Rogers' shanty.
@@wargamesontoast Please do! I really wanted to play a pirate faction, but something more bumbling rather than menacing. Like you said in your video, Kunnin' Trap will give the Thunderfist some free shooting with his cannon. Otherwise I imagine it will just be a mess of units firing away, which should be nice and chaotic. Unfortunately, Big Gutz can't be the leader, but considering how inept Barrett was in the original shanty, I think it fits that he isn't the "brains" of the team.
A little late to the video but I have to disagree a bit with the Killaboss on Gnashtooth. Specifically that if you're able to move him around you don't have enough terrain. If you use the terrain cards to set up your terrain there are a lot of options that will have 2-4 pieces of terrain and thats it. It's very possible to run a game where he has free reign of the board
@wargamesontoast I'm still watching the video and haven't finished it yet. I'm assuming it gets covered but the pot grots ability is fantastic. With any of the Killaboss' it works really well.
@@batpockets2449 the Pot Grot can be pretty excellent for his heal - I generally prefer the Stab Grot for his increased defensive stats. Makes him a bit better when it comes to doing chaff stuff. Heck, I’m not even against giving him +4 wounds from time to time!
Can someone explain the loonshine potion, wait, potion, wait again with the brewgit? I thought you could only use 1 ability per model per round. Are you able to reuse abilities?
You can only use one ability per activation. So Brewgit could use his ability and then use the Wait action. He can then activate again later in the round and use his ability a second time! This is often not a great idea since it’s incredibly slow and telegraphed but it is very fun Hope this helps.
You need a set of miniatures to represent the YT algorithm. Then you can do a battle report and title it "How to destroy the YT algorithm"...providing you win, of course.
@@wargamesontoast 😄 you could kitbash or scratch build some binary 1's and 0's onto bases in various shapes and sizes, paint them green like the matrix and voila! Hobby craft should have some little numbers you could use.

I think you may have it on the to do list already. But would love to hear your thoughts on hedonites of slaanesh. Great video as always!
They are certainly on the list! Just getting the time to build the backlog of stuff and get games in haha.

Taking a warchanter as an ally and using his ability early makes the gutripper attacks more reliable

Disappointing there's no option to slot a Breaka-boss on Mirebrute Troggoth as a monster
Those yellow splotches are clearly minions 🍌
I can confirm they are NOT minions. Good guess though
Minions. The yellow blur are minions.
They are not minions :D

Mayyyyybe. Keep an eye out for the subscriber special video. Secret as to why…
Love these videos. Thanks a lot just got zarbag gitz and the new looncourt goblin warband. Excited to see what I can do with them

Simpsons funko pops? Lol
That’s a solid guess…but no.
Closest guess so far though

How do you feel the gorgers work here as an ally?
The Gorger Clawback is an excellent ally. Fast, access to charge, great damage output, high wound count. Just be careful as they have low toughness!
