I work at a pediatrician’s office & am surprised at the grand parents and great grandparents who are actually raising their grands or great grands full time now. It’s really sad they’ve worked their entire lives to retire only to having to start all over again. I’m 57 & have 3 grandsons I love dearly but working full time I’m so tired on the weekends it’s hard when I have to babysit.
She’s right, our generation needs to man up. If you’re not cut out for the responsibilities of parenthood, keep your legs shut and if you’re a parent who can’t be bothered, your child needs to be in a good foster care home and be adopted.
BS if the grandparents didn’t want to help with the grandkids here & there then THEY should’ve kept their legs closed & not had any children!! Grandparents had help & babysitters and for people who think like you don’t need to be parents nor grandparents & deserve to be put in nursing homes when since no one is obligated to help anyone even your own family
@realrare4062 are grandparents not entitled to their own time and live their own lives for a Lil while? I never expected my mom to just watch my kids just because she was gramma.
