As I sat here listening to this, one of my cats was sleeping on my lap. I couldn't imagine someone cutting into these little guys and implanting foreign objects. Thanks for putting this info out there, shows us that even the "good guys" can operate in inhumane capacities.

That whole period of the Cold War both sides were doing some quite bonkers stuff by today's standards. I just touched the tip of the iceberg on the subject.

Men I knew that had served in Vietnam told me about Mike Wallace of CBS news flew into Da Nang, he brought a pallet of playing cards with logo on back, the recon, LRRP and counter Intel guys shipped them, they would place them in place to disrupt NBA, Viet Cong, the all seeing eye, in Apocalypse Now they referred to as death cards. Friends father would camp out on Ho chi men trail and report movement and materials for targeting. These guys would live in hooch with MoMA, papason feeding them Vietnamese food to prevent BO giving them away in jungle.

one story i was told by a bloke from c coy 6RAR was this one time ( at band camp lol ) they were doing rout protection for an american convoy , in the convoy were civilian shell oil tankers with the bright yellow and red livery , the vietnamese were only attacking the us escort vehicles because apparently shell or the us government bribed the vc to leave the shell tankers alone

Why are UK people so preoccupied with the US, what happening there and what they’ve done? You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting dozens and dozens of UK narrators on you tube.

@@imbetterthanyouis …That’s why you’re preoccupied with the US? That’s the dumbest answer I’ve ever heard! Hahahaha! And here all this time I thought it was because you lost your empire, almost lost two world wars (which you would have without our help), and because you want to be part of our pop culture.
