I think Viva Raw is a great company. It is on Susan Thixton's "The List", her list of verified, human grade, quality controlled companies. Viva Raw is also highly recommended by several authorities on dog feeding such as Dr. Judy Morgan. That all said, my two mini poodles who have always been fed high protein, muscle and organ diet (lightly cooked) and freeze dried, commercial raw (plus sunny side up eggs, cooked salmon) natural, carnivore diet reject Viva Raw. They turn their nose up to all protein varieties of this pink mash. I've tried many times. To be fair to Viva Raw and full disclosure here, one of them rejects frozen raw Small Batch brand although he loves the Small batch freeze dried raw. Both of them also reject frozen raw Raw Bistro brand but love the dehydrated raw versions of RB brand. Both dislike many brands of kibble (I have tried a few brands just because I like to keep an emergency stash of human and dog food with a longer shelf life).
Anyway, dogs fed either dehydrated raw, lightly cooked or fresh frozen raw are all so much healthier than kibble fed dogs. Hopefully this video will inspire more dog owners to reject kibble.

I feed twice a day. My pup is 60 pounds. Just feed him 1 pound of raw food a day.

I just ordered this food today. I hope it’s good for my Frenchie. He will basically eat anything I feed him and acts like he hasn’t had a bite in days.

I got my very first shipment today for my Doxie Sammy. He got the beef which he gobbled up first mixed w his can food. I’m confident he will love all the different meat proteins. This is why I chose Vivaraw for their diverse protein choices.

Can you feed kibble in the morning and raw for dinner? Way to expensive for my 195lb dog

How about home made meal in the morning and raw for dinner? When I had my vet visit, she recommended I do a full transition to real food because of all the allergies and loose stool issue my pup was having. It really made a huge difference.
