You need to open a shop in Glasgow Montana. I went down to the plumbing shop today to buy a flame sensor for my furnace. They had the part but it was three times what i could order it for on supplyhouse. I asked them what it would cost to have their tech come pm my unit and they told me they only have one person and he is super busy so he doesn't like to do preventative maintenance because he has to focus on no heat calls.. 🤦♂️

I like that recount of your meeting with customer. I dont put wiggle room in my bids for cops , old people, disabled or whatever the case might be I do discount at times but I dont jack up my bids so I can cut it dowqn if they squabble . Sometimes if I have very little time in the invested estimate process , ill refuse to drop the price at all or a 500 dollar job ill say ok give me 480 bucks I just dont cut my prices down often but I got my charity cases people Ill take care of for next to nothing Lol . well not that cheap but ill help some out .
Clients have the option to negotiate like the companies do as well. Maybe your decision making on forklift and the clients on the system you proposed are not far apart 🤔 Basically you buy what you think is better value unless you have better experience on the matter. The name for the forklift is spot on 👍
Chinese Products can be very good if vetted properly. Mike, I think you have brought a quality product to market. Based on your research, experience and reputation I would definitely look at this product.
Why isn’t the forklift made in the United States? That’s a great question. You would think that saving on shipping and freight from Asia through the Panama Canal, and to New York you think that you’d be able to find a manufacturer in the United States to make a narrow aisle, compact forklift! But unfortunately, it’s not available by any material handling equipment manufacture, except one Italian company and my company Diack industries.
