I had this stand alone treatment today at Panache salon in Battle,East Sussex.England. £40 including the blow dry. I was amazed, my hair has been transformed. So silky and shiny. My hair is normally frizzy,dry and highlighted,blonde mess. No more, I feel so glamerous!!!!Hope to have this treatment again soon.

Looks like it totally helped. I bet if a person keeps up with it, the damage it prevents will give an even better result than trying to fix the damage after it's caused.

i have a lot of breakage in my hair from flat ironing my hair for 3 years without using heat protection. i've never dyed or bleached my hair. how often should i get a olaplex stand alone treatment done? is one time enough if i use no3 twice a week afterwards? i've read somewhere that you should do olaplex no1 and no2(as a stand alone treatment) every 3 months but i really can't afford that. i hope someone can help answer my questions❤️🙏
Hiii Mathilde! I only had one stand aloe treatment my first year using Olaplex. And then I kept using Olaplex N3. I had good results.

I have been using olaplex 0, 3, 5, and 6 multiple times a week but unfortunately it does absolutely nothing for my hair. I’ve lost most the front of my hair to breakage due to bleach 😰
while 0, 3, 5 and 6 make my hair “feel” healthier only the day of, the next day after sleeping it’s back to breaking As if I did nothing to help it.
Anyway, I’m hoping olaplex 1 and 2 will at least help it stop breaking. It’s already going to take a very very long time to grow my hair back out sigh

Heidi thanks for replying! So, I used it the day after my original comment and there was no difference, sadly.
Today, I gave it another shot and my hair actually feels stronger! I know this because it’s still wet and I tried a strand test and it wasn’t as elastic and my hair felt like hair and not gummy when I was washing it! Currently letting it air dry so we will see. This is what I did:
1 - Shampoo twice beforehand, blow dried completely dry
2 - saturated with olaplex 1, left it on for an hour
3 - on top of that I then saturated with olaplex
2, left it on for another hour (both with a plastic wrap on my hair so it can stay wet)
4 - After this, I used an ion protein treatment without plastic wrap and left it on for 10 mins
5 - I then used it’s a 10 deep conditioning mask for 15 mins
6 - finally, its a 10 leave in with keratin and now I’m letting it air dry
This is the first time my hair doesn’t feel like gummy or jelly when it’s wet which is a good sign. At this point my crown is broken almost to the line of demarcation (basically my scalp ugh) so really I should have tried this sooner but I didnt have olaplex 1 and I was scared of using too much protein.
Anyway, it’s my fault. Hopefully at least now I can retain whatever length I have left and let it grow out

I was sold no2 it dried my hair out ? They wasn’t supposed sold it to me come too find out do you have to use 4 and 5 with the 3 to work?
Why is the no 2 only used in salons is it like the no3?

I just washed off #2 after leaving it on overnight. I can visibly see less split ends which I'm amazed about but the texture is a bit weird. Definitely need a moisturizer. I knew this off the bat but i thought #6 or the oil #7 would do the trick? Do I add anything else?
You need to wash it off with number 4 and use number 5 or 8 to condition. 6 and 7 are leave ins. They don't condition enough after doing a treatment.
@@cfoster6804 Thank you! I completely forgot I ever wrote this lol I've been doing weekly treatments since then. I do have 4 and 5 and did use it back then, just feel like 6 and 7 are my least favorite of the whole routine. #8 wasn't out yet, I'll have to get it sometime soon.

Yes it can prevent further breakage because it strengthens. But it doesn’t regenerate already broken hair of course.
