I think that the lack of hdmi 2.1 will be resolved soon (as soon as 2023?) with the new CPUs that will replace the current ones.
This TV looks fantastic, I have no reason to buy one this year, but i'm excited to see where this Sony line will go, I hope they change the stand to a non-leaning one!

Nice QD-OLED 👍 my country (South Korea) hasn’t had any QD-OLED TV released in 2022 (not even Samsung QD-OLED TV), but at least Samsung’s offering is coming out in 2023. Looking forward to see how it compares to the LG OLED TV in person!
Sony’s TV aren’t sold here either, but having auto HDR optimization for the PS5 seems really nice and I’d seriously look into it if it ever hits store shelves.

@@humm6155 This TV is complete overkill for the PS5 and Series X. While at the same time not the best premium gaming TV. I would recommend you buy the LG C2, it’s the best gaming OLED on the market.

Your camera is amazing it's actually able to keep up with the dynamic range which is rare af with an oled especially qd oled lol

I bought the 55" version and it has really blown my mind how great everything looks. Pro tip, watch The Batman and Altered Carbon on it in complete darkness 😲🤯

The 2 2.1 ports is the biggest issue for me. One will be taken up by my sound bar. But really impressed by the color.

@@micker9830 It's close... My Kuro is also incredible with1080p blu ray. A95K is easily up there with it. A95k is darker and brighter though.👌
@@micker9830 The Kuro is better for gaming. Never beat it's motion handling. Yeah from what I saw blu ray wise the A95K looked superb. Oblivion looked unreal and that's one of my test disc's. Incredible sharpness and colour.
The A95K is in storage at the minute. Waiting on a house move.
Hi there spawn point, big fan I just want to know, HOW is your audio so good. What kind of mic do you use? What software and do you change any settings after recording. Thanks for the videos.
Thank you. I use the Shure MV7 (the cheaper one) and record in Audacity. Then tweak the noise in the background and that’s it really.

I've owned a X900H for nearly two years, bought due to the positive reviews. Excellent picture quality but the biggest issue has been the software experience. Even after all the updates, I still have have to reset it at least once a month, and because of that reason my next tv will be a Samsung or LG.
Buy an Apple TV.

The screen looks amazing but not a fan of Sony tvs or their operating system my parents have a Sony tv and they paid 700 for its. It’s not a oled but it’s software is garbage I’ll stick with lg. great video review though I did consider buying this but ultimately went with lg 😂
Great review. Nobody beats Sony for color. I have an A80J -- best TV I've ever owned. Great combo with my PS5.
That's debatable tbh! The shop I'm in I see these all the time and the Panasonic OLED series have always had the most accurate colours OOTB. Not many people get these calibrated and if they do when my mate who's with me goes out to do it he says the DE margins are minimal that the human eye would not pick up the difference!.. Sony has always been a motion king, Panasonic for colours, LG for all arounder, Samsung for design/technical choices & extremely vivid panels. There's obviously a few exceptions in each category but these are the *"Mount Rushmore"* of the AV technology.
Each brand is a killer in its own right!.
@@SSNebula That's fine, everybody has their opinion, but I agree with Caleb Denison of Digital Trends that Sony has the best OOTB color accuracy with no calibration needed. Panasonic may be in that category as well, but I have no experience with Panasonic OLED.
Sony Oled screens are made by LG the only thing different is the CPU and how it's tuned

Nice to actually comment on something to do with technology and get a mature response but one thing I can definitely agree on is that Sony and Panasonic are the top ones for OOTB accuracy 100%! I had my C2 calibrated and it isn't anywhere near as good on colour as my living room Panasonic! To be fair it could be a faulty panel as I had it discounted from the boss but yes, each brand has its own pros and cons 💯

I’ve had mine since September it’s the best TV I’ve ever owned. I don’t feel any need for a gaming dashboard. The PS5 looks magnificent on it. You can use the tv remote for media on the PS5 which is very handy. Very happy I chose this over the Samsung S95B. People love to bang on about the price difference but it was never about the cost to me. Only the performance matters and it’s killer
I own the s95 b and it's incredible. Both of them are actually, you are not going wrong with any of them, the Samsung has the advantage of the price, the Sony is probably a bit more accurate in colors that's all
The remote thing is actually a feature of the PS5 - not the TV itself. I currently have an LG B2 from a few years back and it works with it as well. Are the colors really that much brighter than a normal OLED?

Beautiful TV. The best in the market. I bought the Sony X750H 65" two years ago, because I have kids now and I cannot justify paying the extra money for top-end gadgets anymore. My wife would not be happy with those types of decisions :). But if I was till single and could still do whatever I wanted :), I would have boght this one instead.
I just bought a 55' Sony A80K for myself for Christmas. Its my first new tv in about 7 years. I bought it for watching live sports cuz thats what i watch 90% of the time so i thought not having 4k was my problem but was pretty disappointed in the quality. I thought it could be a settings issue but everything else looks amazing. Anything i watch on apps looks perfect. So I'm thinking it's a Comcast problem considering it's only when watching cable that the quality isn't any better than my 7-year-old tv. Watching Thursday night football on Amazon looks amazing and thats what i was hoping all sports would look like but sadly they don't. It's mostly while players are in motion , and obviously all sports are in motion. I have no idea why i pay $250+ a month if i can't get 4k. If anyone thinks they have a solution, let me know thank you
Fubotv is the only sports streaming service that offers sports in 4K
@Jzpat wow I didn't know that. I thought it was a setting on my side but I guess not. I wish I knew this before I paid $1300 for a new tv. I would have bought the led version and not the oled version like I was originally gonna do and saved $700 until the salesman said there's a night and day difference between the 2, especially for live sports...Just another bullshit artist trying to get the most money outta me. Guess I'm just another idiot that fell for it
I bought a Samsung TV at Best Buy was open to TV I did that before. In 2009 I bought a open television that was returned it was a Sharp Aquos liquid crystal display LCD cuz those were popular then and it still lasts it lasts for 14 years and it it's a great TV. So now I got a Samsung 4K TV I can't it's a smart TV I can't exactly remember what it's called but it's a great TV for gaming it's only it was only $300 which is fair for that and I finally bought a PlayStation 5 in January 2023 it's really great

That looks awesome! But the one advantage my A90J has over the A95K is it's stand. My A7000 fits directly under my A90J..... looks like the A95K wouldn't be able to do that. Hopefully it's something that can be addressed in their 2023 line up.

How do you like that A90J? I’m thinking of picking one up now. Last year it was full price. Now I can get it discounted. And is the A95K so much better?

@@d05wtt The A90J is not worth it compared to the A95K. If you are spending that much money just get the best. The QD-OLED display is far better than the OLED on the A90J.

Had about 8 hours with my A95K adjusting picture settings. Got it looking best I can. I can post the settings if folk fancy giving them a try. Looks 95% as good as my old Kuro which is superb with 1080p blu-ray.
It will be helpfull if you could post settings, i have problem with my 55' cant setting it and just wonder if it is possible to make better display.

shooting only on iPhone makes the video look so crispy and friendly, you can't ignore that 4K.
Nice QD OLED. So nice I bought one to replace my Sony KD55 A1 which sadly had the dreaded screen burn😢. Watching the World Cup through the A95K was amazing although I am now firmly once bitten twice shy about screen burn and if pausing any picture I then use the screen off option and watch sky news on my iPad😉

@@terryrobinson3016 was that for me? Well no thoughts really as I secured a deal with John Lewis in part replacing my A1 so the Panny wasn’t really an option. I must admit I really like Pannys and still have two. My first is in my daughters room and the others in the kitchen diner. I believe the lz2000 is something to be reckoned with tho🙂
I also have The KD55 a1, and is considering to replace it with the A95k.How would you compare the picture quality? Is it a big step up with the A95k?
@@joernberg The picture quality is a major step forward and is superior to the A1 in many ways. There’s lots of reviews out there which can help deciding. It’s not cheap but when I got my A1 five years back that was eyewateringly expensive so in a way the A95K is cheaper🤔. The way it sits leaning back is also not an issue if you’ve an A1 as that leant back further! I kept to the 55” screen to maintain marital harmony🙂

I own one and no bend at all. Sony builds their TVs with quality unlike Samsung

I think the price is ok if you plan on keeping it for 5 years. I mean the same people who say this is expensive upgrade their phone every year.

I bought a 90j 1 month ago, once it’ll die i’m gonna buy this one or the next one because it’s literally the best tv i’ve ever own and it’s not even the top one
It's definitely good for gaming, but if gaming is your only focus then an LG is the better option. If you're more into movies, no doubt this this the besr

I bought this in November from curry's for £2600 got a price match from another shop, who had a 10% discount on at the time. But, WoW this tv is something else by far the best tv I've ever owned.
I originally went in curry's to buy the LG g2 and the sales advisor showed me this tv and boy did I fall in love with it. He said this will be the best tv made to date, and he was not wrong. I scoured the Internet for weeks to find it cheaper as the £3k price at the time was to steep for me, until I found the website with the price above, yet you still can't find a better price for this tv.
