I feel like the fact that the 2nd girl's hair didn't look completely fried is a testament to why everyone should use a product like Blondme when bleaching at home! From what she said, it sounds like the bleach was on the back of her head for well over an hour and a half, and it still looked healthy after applying the color. Hooray for quality products!!👏👏👏
BlondMe definitely helps a TON! I used some random brand when I was younger, and I'm so happy I was able to switch to BlondMe. My hair feels better after I bleach it than before xD

The second girls blond was beautiful why she went blue is beyond me! I use Blondme on top of Olaplex (for added protection) and my hair comes out perfect with no damage. There's a reason he gets excited about that product because the blondeme line is exceptional!
I don't think the 1st girl knew that Periwinkle is a PASTEL colour lol I've used that colour, super pretty.
I agree the second girl's hair turned out beautiful, good thing she had another tube of hair colour.

Loved the first girls results. I also like the second, BUT I loved her blonde. It would’ve been cool to see a blue skunk stripe on her blonde as well so it can be a cool peek a boo in front at the middle part.
The second girl probably didn't even need to bleach her hair at all with a blue that dark.

***THANK YOU!!!!**** I been doing my hair myself for like 20 yrs... I never knew that bleaching with 20 vol kills more yellow/orange tones... I usually use 20 but recently been using 30 vol... Thank you for telling me this 😃
Ya, Hair Buddha does not like 30 or 40. "20 works slower but it is better for your hair" he says.
I like the first girls hair. The roots are blue but the rest is pretty silver like.
I went from box black to blue once. It took eight hours, six of which were bleaching. It came out great. Then again, it was a great job made with great care by the salon owner.
Now that almost every hair on my head is white, I just put the blue on myself, wait for an hour and ta-da! Not bleaching is the only good thing about going gray.
The last one was lovely!!!! I am impressed at how well she did and it was a surprise! Lol! Hair Buddha you are so much fun to watch and I love your beard! 🤩😜

You make me understand why my co worker is not coloring her hair anymore. She use to have beautiful colors, mermaid green, purple... she said she had to stop for awhile cause she would ruin her hair. NOW i understand. Have a great day!

The one girl diluted her blue with conditioner...I think Hair Buddah missed her saying that part...so yeah...conditioner is going to keep your hair from accepting the pigment... so it was very faded.

I love how you're always so kind, Hair Buddha. I wish I could have you do my hair. Chemotherapy has ruined it, even now that it's growing back it has a weird texture to it, like the way it would feel if I bleached it. I don't know what to do with it through these awkward length phases
I've had several friends who went through chemo and said very much the same thing. One friend's hair grew back blond and ringlets, it was amazing, but after a while it went back to her normal sandy and wavy. Another had it grow back in patches so he just kept it bald and a couple others wore wigs.
Stay as well as possible! Going through chemo is not fun!
I feel with you! Lost almost all of my hair to an autoimmunal disease last year. Now my hair is super curly and so fine it breaks when I look in the mirror for too long :-( my hair almost reached down to my hips before, I cried a lot.
You are a survivor and pretty by your strength anyway, that is what makes me feel better.
And I do not dare to see a hairdresser again.
Not me personally, but when my grandma had hair grow in after chemotherapy, she had crazy growth and color for a year. Good luck!
@@jlhmyers75 I'll be on it for the rest of my life. I get just enough of a break in between rounds that odd looking peach fuzz starts to come in. The most amazing thing happened though! After I commented this a makeup artist/ wig specialist I'm friends with on TT shipped me 3 wigs and they're coming in tomorrow! I am beyond excited to see them and try them on

Hey Budda, I was actually very impressed with the 2nd girls bleaching, and the blue looked pretty good on her. Last time I went, my hair dresser used Blonde A.F. ( actual name lol ) and lifted really good, as you can see in my picture. Love your facial expressions lol ❤️
The process of bleaching, especially if it's balayage, is just too long for me. Maybe some people really enjoy going to the hairdresser for hours and hours and hours but I've determined that I'm not one of those people. Did I enjoy my blonde hair when I had it? Yes. Would I do it now (especially as I'm growing my hair really long)? Nope. Don't have the patience for it. And it's really the combination of the strong smell and being introverted and not wanting to chitchat with a stranger for that long.
Same girl saaaaame... my hair use to stay blonde...but I let it grow out and its to my waist... I just dont want to spend 5 hours at a salon with a stranger ...perhaps I could say I had a sore throat and didnt want to talk...🤣

That blue is really pretty! She looks so different. Looks good on her. Looks more like a dark grey to me though.

Blue is truly a commitment color. I've been blue for a long while and still wouldn't suggest any one go blue, unless they are dedicated to the color
The first girl, I liked those blue bits near the roots. It looked like it might have been alright if she'd done diluted blue on the ends, and then more intense blue closer to the roots, to disguise the root and maybe try for a sort of shadow root.
That second girl, I actually thought she looked really pretty good at each stage. It was nice to see you excited by blondme. I would have preferred a less harsh blue.

I live her hair. At least you know, that is real and not filtered. I recently found out that many of these types of videos are filtered. Hence, not just the perfect hair, but also the make up.

I've bleached my hair and dyed it blue with the same blue she used from Arctic Fox and other colors and never had trouble with it taking. The trouble I have is getting it out. Lol. My hair was a dark brown/black as well. It's the upkeep to keeping it blonde that's not necessarily hard but it's easy to get lazy.
Periwinkle is a pastel shade. She further diluted it with conditioner. Her hair needed to be level 10 platinum fir that to work!!
@@2shadowcats2 Unfortunately, as we've seen countless times, many don't realize that, don't do their due diligence in research (research meaning one or two, 5 minute long videos), lack of patience or expect a miracle.
I've been dying my hair for over 25 years and never had a problem except once with a reaction to the Wella toner that burned my scalp and made all my hair fall out. Other than that, even tho I have been dying and bleaching my hair for yrs, I still research beforehand because new info comes out all the time and it never hurts to learn something new if there is.
I've been lucky that some times I don't get it platinum, retouching roots as an example, and the color took. Thank goodness. If it doesn't I just dye it the opposite color on the color wheel and it lasts fairly long.

I remember doing a blue-black in high school a few times. That's what her color reminds me of.
I think she used a blue/black dye meant to add blue highlights to black hair. Or for turning dark brown hair black with blue highlights.

You recommended two brands as far as I remember, one of them Authentic Beauuty Concept, very difficult to get anywhere in store, and I was wondering if there are some other brands, maybe more popular, that you find good? Bleaching your hair that light just to make super dark bluish grey black? Seems like a lot to put hair through for that.
Any blue colour requires a base with no yellow/orange tone. Otherwise you wind up with green. Therefire, hair must be bleached to level 10 platinum.
I wish she had used a lighter blue... that end result looked more like washed-out black!
Blue does require a large lift depending on what kind of blue- a light blue requires an almost white based the darker blue you go you can have a bit of yellowish in it to achieve the color but it cannot have orange and having yellow pigment only mean a dark blue will fade to more green.
Can you do a reaction video on toning brassy brown hair with manic panic. There is one by this channel called Kari U that seems to work really well.

I did blue for my hair with live and I hated it so I had to use b blonde to remove it waited 2 days for the second run of bleach then went back to purple which I love
