Used to love Puremagic Carwash, but unfortunately i changed to Harper after multiple months of multiple locations having various equipment always being down. One month their shammy dry roller was not working at like 4 different locations (which never dries my car as properly as the mitters they used to use did), the Alcoa location's reverse spraying jets would not properly rinse my mirrors like they did, and to top it all off their Farragut location's interior express is a joke. it became highway robbery. i would pay $15 and there would still be crumbs and dust in all the places they say they will clean (cupholders, dashboards, doorjambs).

Awesome video. Do you plan on filming some more Car Washes in the SouthEastern region of the U.S? If so which states in the SouthEast do you plan on going to?

@@OliverTheBlackCatYT top brush is the way to go, Tommy's using 20 year old mitter technology. Doesn't clean well at all.

Tommys has nice looking equipment. However, Im not a fan of gravity controlled wraps. The DRYHUGGERS are not my personal favorite piece of equipment and I would not install them in my car wash.

I agree. Top brushes clean alot better than mitters. However, Mitters are a great piece of equipment for polishing. So If I were to install a mitter in my tunnel it would be in the end.

express car washes are fine for your everyday driver. show cars obviously you would never take them through this. Car wash technology has vastly improved in the past 10-20 years to where the materials used are designed to not hold onto dirt and debris. and especially in places where road salting is common (it happens a lot in the winter in Knoxville), these types of washes make keeping salt off your car way less of a chore, especially if you have a monthly unlimited plan. I don't know about you but i am not going to go take an hour or two in the freezing cold to drag out my pressure washer, redo my attachments to get the underside of my car sprayed off every time i drive around town in the winter.
Again, your show cars should never be taken through this, but its fine for the everyday driver
