Most people who hand wash their cars do a terrible job and the finish ends up with massive swirls. If you really want to do a great job washing by hand, it takes a really long time and you have to go super slow. Most folks can't be bothered with that.

These brush car wash systems will scratch the hell out of your paint job ! Don't let anyone tell you any different ! I've been in the car detailing business for over 30 years & have had to either repaint parts of cars or buff the cars out to get all the scratches out that these kind of car washes put on your vehicle !!
MR. GOOGLE You are wrong. Handwashing your car is worse for the vehicles paint and will make it so scratches are even more likely. These brushes are made out of a special material that doesn’t hold water. The soaps and chemistry also provide a lubrication for the vehicle surface so the brush isn’t hitting a dry car. If you want to guarantee a wash causing no scratches you put in high pressure arches at the beginning that will blast off the excess mud.
the rim-washer probably get dirty after some washing. So what if it starts cleaning other rims it can make scratches in your rims, because of the dirt in the hairs of it.

The brushed are made of material that dont pick up dirt easy and they spray the car at the beginning sp extra dirt comes off
