Wow just wow. Just when I thought your tank can't look any better here is this video! The best SPS Reef Tank on UA-cam. Love how the scape looks like it's hovering above the sand bed. Excellent photography as well. More videos please 😁

Ha ha! always very kind, Wil! I have decided to remove the dust from my old Nikon and lenses. Now I am gaining some courage to chop a few colonies and rearrange things, then I will try to make a new video. Thanks so much!

I should have watched this video before I asked that question. :-)

Nahh... That video is old, I am not suplementing as much and getting similar results with less algae and less cyano! also I no longer use Ozone unless something goes very wrong. You are always welcome to ask. Thank you!

Hey buddy, you should be very proud of the fact you have created one of the sexiest reefs on UA-cam. Everything looks great and the way you filmed it is awesome. There is not one thing I can say I like the best because I love everything. Great job and keep up the fantastic work.

Both the video production and tank quality are fantastic! Great job on the video and even greater job on the reef. Other than the amazing colouration I especially like the Marginalis.

The Marginalis is a great fish, reef safe, hardy and eats aiptasia. thank you for the very kind words.

Hello Jorge ... Beautiful Reff, congratulations!
I'm guessing that you are from Brazil, Portugal or even Spain ... I'm right?
I've been in Thailand about 6 times since 2003. Great country and culture, specially if you are in to the reef hobby :)
I'm starting my reef project which will be assembled soon and I would do like to talk with you about it if is possible ...
The project will have 160x60x60cm rimless which will be running by one EcoTech Marine L1, 2x MP40, 1 NYOS 220 or maybe the 300 one, GHL dosing pump system and 4x Kessil A360W ... Sump will be about (at least) 80x40x40cm. So I would really appreciated your opinion and toughs about it.
Thank you very much Jorge and have a great New Year Eve !!!!!!!!!

During the day I use the random mode at 50% power. During the night I use Pulse mode to avoid a change of flow and sleepy fish ending eaten by the anemone. Many thanks.

Have you had a problem with the butterfly fish and the christmas tree worms?

Those are some happy corals! How does your rockwork seem to float above the sand? Amazing reef

    • @JorgeMacedo

Steve Brady the idea is to give some room for the fish to swim as corals tend to take over most space. I used thick dead coral branches to support the bigger flat rocks on top, also this is ideal to host filter feeders such as sponges and helping with control of nutrients. Thanks very much, Steve.
