He has been in my tank for a little over six months and so far so good, model citizen the only negative is when he decide to move sand from one place to another. Many thanks, Gerald.
@@MikeLemming Acropora loves flow, especially random flow, not so strong to the point of starting stressing and losing tissue but needs a lot IMHO. I am using 2 Gyre XF280 on opposites sides a 70% power in random mode, plus a vectra M1 as return pump at 80%. New quick video under LED lighting in a couple of minutes :)
Cool. I’ve been messing with my flow here and there. One side of the tank is doing great with sticks but, I just put some frags on the other side the stripped the tissue over night. I can’t seem to find a good medium.
@@MikeLemming Try little adjustments and watch how polyps react to those adjustments, try not to point the flow straight at corals. You will get the flow right, I am sure.

Thank you Mike. I am working on that. hope to post something tomorrow or maybe sooner :)
Cool. What’s your table on flow? I’m having a hard time figuring it out in my new tank.. it seems like it’s either not enough or too much!

Which type of sand is that??
This is a cheap local reef sand sold in Chatuchak market here in Bangkok.
