Personally, I still prefer Hans Zimmer's amazing theme during this scene. But I really wanted to see what it sounded like with John Williams theme and I think it also fits pretty well.
I actually prefer this. I wish they used this score in the movie as it plays on nostalgia. I mean we don’t see Star Ware constantly changing its theme. And for good reason.
It strikes deep into one's soul. This edit accentuates it perfectly. Masterclass work by HFP as always. Want some of his older Jedi stuff remastered with latest content. A Vader in beast mode edit would be amazeballs (all his greatest fights, including from Clone Wars, Kenobi, Ashoka and Rogue One.)
The theme song is everything ❤️.I always thought the John Williams theme song was the default song for any Superman. Didn't know it was specifically made for just Superman 1978
Not many feelings compare to what which John William's music can produce but I personally think that Hanz Zimmer's score for Man of Steel and BvS are my one of my all time favorites. This original scene in particular hits a nerve for me that not much else can compete with. Amazing video as always!
Pure beauty, my friend! Absolutely love the original films AND Snyder's take on the character. To hear John Williams' score in this amazing scene is such a masterful idea. Great work brother!
Music can make, or break a scene, and this, this made the scene more than it was before. Smart choice on doing this, such a simple thing, but amazing results
Sure, just a quick edit... 😂 This is brilliant. I still enjoy Zimmer's version more, just because it's a different movie for another time and audience. IMHO, William's score belongs to Christopher Reeve's version of the character (and that includes Superman Returns, which I'm fine with), and helped making it the classic saga that it is. BUT your editing is great and made me smile. Well done.
Believe me I get the nastolgia of the John Williams score in relation to the Reeves films, because it fit that vibe of the time. But to MOS, it just fell flat with that scene. And that’s ok, that score was not mean to be ageless and if you say so, then you’re just being a fan boy. Hans zimmers score is epic and powerful as it was meant to be for Snyder’s vision. We need to stop thinking rehashed elements will somehow make something better. Gunn is making that mistake, no vision, just a rehash.
@@MadHawkMoody no dude. Both are great. Star wars scores by John Williams still sounds fresh...it aged pretty good like you said eternal but unfortunately his Superman theme didn't aged well. Hans Zimmer made a way better score for Man of Steel

Now with Brightburn! 🤘😄
Great job 👍👏
I like Hans better too

@@jtlbb2 They will change the theme when Star Wars is rebooted.
I swear John William's Superman score hits the human body right on the spot where tears are produced.

Chills! This is perfection.
James Gunn has got to see this and use Williams' score at some point. How can you not after watching this!
And it came to be. He probably read this comment
Dam memories 😢😢❤

Brought a few tears to the eye. Incredible.

Crazy even as an adult these characters still hit hard! 👏👏👏
Shaky to start but NAILED the finish. Some of your finest work here
I am a huge Superman fan. (Saw the original in the theater). Thank you for this
Whoever did this ... Thank you.

Not to mention the improved the color grading
You basically increased the brightness of the movie from 20% to 80 just by this score alone, made him a bit more hopeful
😅😂
Welcome back, friend.
I got CHILLS BABY!!!
It works with both themes! Incredible 😮 Goosebumps!
Nothing brings out the nostalgia like a Williams score

*chefs kiss* 🤌
Great job, as always!
Yeah, yeah, I need to watch more than twice, that's for sure
1:26. The Krypton theme is perfection
Jesus i just got the biggest goosebumps ever lol well done sir!!

This is so lovely
Where is that shot at 3:21 from? I dont exactly recollect it from the movie Man of Steel or BVS
Bringing a tear to my eye
That's how Man of Steel should have been not what we got in the original version... Superman isn't Superman without William's score....
Oh, please
Where did you get those Pa Kent clips they weren't in the movie. Outtakes?
Well done
Idk this doesnt suits the scene at all.
Omg....cringe. sorry to say. I'm 80's generation by the way. I am so disagree with this. I prefer Zimmer a lot. 😂
Sorry to say this but Hans zimmer score suits this scene perfectly. This score is outdated people need to move on.
Dude. Hanz is overrated. John Williams is eternal.

@@Shaazz28 Yeah, fair enough. I guess I just feel like Hans overdid Man of Steel. Hopefully Superman Legacy will strike that perfect balance!
@@Shaazz28 Disagree. William's Superman score is still the best one, but I will agree that Zimmer's is also really good and fits this scene better.
@@MadHawkMoodysee, this is good debating. I prefer Zimmers version but this score is awesome too.
