The torque for a CLK550 W209 are 18 to 20 ft lb for the spark plugs per the manual 👍 As far as torque for the bolts that hold the ignition boot the best ive been able to find online is 18 to 22 ft lbs.
ian young The spark plugs on this Mercedes has a.m. crush washer so there's no true torque.you just do it by feel until you feel the crush washer crush down a little bit. A good rule of thumb is tighten the until it snug and about a quarter turn more.

Jammell Brown I have run across this before. I ran across it twice once it was the sensor that was malfunctioning and the second time it was something in the timing chain that broke. But the car was under warranty so I did not get to do the work. There are four cam sensors on that car. One intake cam sensor on each cylinder head and one exhaust cam sensor on each cylinder head. Without diagnostic equipment it would be hard to walk you through a diagnostic so you may want to take a chance and figure out what sensor is malfunctioning and replace that one.

No You Have 16 Spark Plugs On That && Your Coils Are Different. I Have A Clk500 && Clk550

Kdee105 there’s only 8 Plugs on this one. 4 on each bank.

Jammell Brown no it's most likely the cam sensors or something wrong with the timing issue.
If you are still out here, didn't see in the video the back four plugs. How hard are those to get to?

i thought this car needed 16 spark plugs
It’s not a S-class bud. In my S 430 even everything you want to replace you have to multiply by 2. From spark plugs to the light bulbs lol
