Peripheral vision will grow up to be an underground classic of a generation
This music hit me on a level where no other song could hit me like.
I kind of wish it wouldn't "hit me". Whatever. Srsly though. Is it chasing the night? Or chasing the high? What the fuck is that.
@@birdbones175 🤣 goddamn man. Why do y'all gotta be in my head like that.
You're always just wyd. It's never dywmteyotycomf.
I just really love glu-free salad. Srry man.
Peripheral Vision is one of those albums that you listen to on summer nights relaxing in your bed.
+A Greased Scotsman This comment is the best description of the album, I'll be using that
or you listen to this record in a fever.. lonely and disgusting...wondering who is fucking your ex....
Brendan it's one of those nights for me
Skate Boards i hear you man. this has been the longest month of my life and this song is keeping me sane
Still holds true 8 years later
Peripheral Vision is so good. Makes me want to stay in bed forever with the lights off.
Yessss
+MxHC Music Promotions THIS
+MxHC Music Promotions Amazing music. They make me wanna fall asleep with the TV on.

LMAOO that's what I am doing now 😂😂 literally in bed with the lights off !!!
This song resets my brain. This takes me back to stoned nights in the park during high school when things seemed a lot more simple. This song makes me feel like everything is going to be okay on the hardest days of my life.
thank you for saying that. seriously dude. It makes the mood better.
Good thing. If it didn't reset your brain, you might go insane
Yeah, 'cause you might swear to God that you don't think you can go another day.
youre not the only one, this is in all of us.
It takes me back to a lover and a sunset
turnover: "can I stay at home?"
2020: say no more
kkkkrying
Seriously...
I dont wanna go
Hahahahaha😊
Lmao
fr this a straight vibe all the time
can’t believe it’s been ten years. gonna bawl my eyes out seeing peripheral vision played in full. long live turnover
same here, I'm seeing them in May. man, I know as soon as they start cutting my fingers off, I'm gonna be hella emotional
"Adolescent dreams
Gave to adult screams
Paranoid that I won't have all the things they say I need"
This song is just too relatable, its just perfect
yeaup
Too true
I don't know what it is about this song, it just makes me feel some type of way I can't put into words. I can't believe I'll be seeing them play it LIVE in May
Perfect💋
This is the type of album that you listen to driving down an old forgotten road at night musing about your choices in life
This song gets me more than I get me.
Finally got to see these guys live last year! Unforgettable night
Turnover are going to blow up when this album drops. The first two singles have been insane.
It's just new-wave type music. A lot of bands have this exact same sound.
This isn't new wave though
+cortizone121 like what? It sounds great. We need more bands that sound like this.
+cortizone121 what bands sound like this? It seems to be a lost sound. A sound bands like the smiths and new order and the cure done. It sounds great. We need more bands that sound like this.
Oddly they haven't blown up, but they should.
this is probably the best song and album ive heard in my entire life
addicted
Every single song is amazing.
No cap
Been so depressed. Listening to this album on repeat. Its helped me through tough times.
Hope y’all are hanging in there🙏🫡✨
8 years man, wow. I still remember the day I heard this album.
Same boi. Wish we got more of the same. C'est la vie ❤
Love this new direction with the band. The more reverb the better as far as I can tell.
Duke Gibo that album is so good. by far my favorite title fight album.
All of Turnover's catalog just makes me feel a certain way, i can't describe it, but no other music just makes me feel like this, truly an exqusite and brilliant group.
Very 80's influenced and a classic 90's indie rock sound, it's great.
There have been days I’ve listened to Peripheral Vision multiple times in a row. Of all the music I have amassed over the years this has quickly climbed into my top 20 albums ever. I get completely lost in the words and melodies.
Always respect the man who rocks a capo on his jazzmaster and can still vocally hit ANY note
EVERYDAY I'M CRAAAAAAVING THAAAAT NEW SCREEEAAAAM
I always come back to this classic. Everything hits so right.
Underrated film clip. Just thought I'd drop that thought in 2023.
This song captures the existential exhaustion I already have at 24
I just can't figure out how a song can capture an emotion and a mindset with just sounds and visuals. It's incredible.
"just another dream I had that's better than my life."
plight*
nope, its life
lol
Sadly relatable
This is literally some of the best music I have heard in the past two years or more. This new record is going to be amazing. If someone told me this video and song came out in 1989-1993 I wouldn't even think twice.
These lyrics explain exactly how I feel about my twenties.
I don’t want my 20s to end
@@Bitwashwindows been listening to this since I was 25 and now I'm 30
@@Bitwashwindows you realize that the lyrics aren’t positive, right?
I hear you.
I'm in my 20s now
One of those bands I can say I love all the music they make. But this album was one of those that is far beyond that statement. This is incredible. Thank you guys.
This song/video/album changed the trajectory of my life 8 years ago
I love the lo-fi aesthetic it just adds to how genuine this entire album is...so. much. feels.
I have no words to say how much I love this song.
They find the deepest place in their souls, I feel complete. Amazing.
This ambient new wave alternative music truly transcends the norm man... hard to explain. But it speaks to me.
This is the perfect song for confused and depressed high school seniors that are super introverted and like to reminisce about the past and then get nostalgic from the memories
That's me
"Can I reset my brain?
If not I'll go insane.
I swear to God,
that I don't think I can
go another day."
That shit hittttt me 😑😑😑
Top 3 favorite song by Turnover ❤
I'm legit in love with this song and his voice
Me too me too!
This is like now my legit favorite song
Can I stay at home? I don’t want to go
I don’t want to wake up till the sun is hanging low
Stay up through the night, sleep away the light
Just another dream I had that's better than my life
Adolescent dreams gave to adult screams
Paranoid that I won’t have all the things they say I need
What if I don’t want a pattern on my lawn
All I know is somethings wrong because everyday
I’m craving that new scream lusting for more than just, old dreams
I’ve been dying to feel alive
And I’ve been wasting all my time, chasing the high
Can I reset my brain? If not I’ll go insane,
I swear to God that I don’t think I can go another day
Am I the only one? Is this in all of us? I hate the thought that I’m alone
But I hope that you're not
craving that new scream, lusting for more than just, old dreams
I’ve been dying to feel alive
And I’ve been wasting all my time, chasing the high
Still craving more than just, the same as how it was, I’ve been collecting dust
And I’ve been waiting still craving…
I can run but I can’t catch up, now i’m pulling my teeth to not feel numb
-Backup vocals sa outro
thanx for this
@@mammontustado9680 oh my god have been searching high and low for this, thank you (where did you find it?)
By far my favorite song from Turnover, I absolutly love the second chorus, how he sings "I've been dying to feel alive" gets me everytime😍
Jesus, their sound (AND the aesthetic of this video) is so fucking nostalgic now. Beautiful.
Turnover gets better with every release they're a constant evolving force. Every release sounds different and brings something new to each outing. They're amazing
This deserves so many more views. Wake up, people. This is absolute gold.
The last part of this song is really get me❤
Just beautiful.
It's impossible to get it in my head that the same band made this song and 'Sasha' and I still love both so much
Despression been kicking my ass lately but when I put on this album it goes away for the time being. They truly made a masterpiece.
Can’t believe this video doesn’t have the million views already.
This and Most of the Time when Autumn and Winter hits. Dressing decently warm but the cool breeze hits and you feel cold but don't mind it. Watching the sunset alone under a tree on a hill in my favorite park wondering if I'll simply drift away like winds to leaves. Love it!
I could cry tears of jot to this song
Probably going to be their best album.
Darren Paradissis Oh Darren from the past, if only you knew
hahaha yes
You were right.
Unfortunately you were right :(
he’s still right
Absolutely beautiful song
So glad my homeboy put me o. To this band, and more importantly a song like this, that taps directly into my life..... well done fellas!
Same man, friend showed me this awesome song
One of the best rock songs from the 2010s, criminally underrated
Love this song
Perfect song, perfect album. 11/10
Saw them yesterday in berlin. Probably one of the few bands i am going to still listen in many years in the future.
But this song is my all time favourite of turnover.
glad i clicked the random video with a lo-fi cover.
this is amazing.
These guys pretty much perfected the sound that every band is now trying to go for..
This song needs more views.
damn its crazy to see the transition from your first ep to this holy fuck
Modern society sucks at getting good music to people, because I should have heard this years ago...
This album is insanely good! Every single song is genius. Hope these guys headline soon!
I heard this album 5 years ago when I had depression. Now I'm here listening again, having depression again. Death isnt as close as I wish it was.
I heard this playing in a coffee shop and dang, I'm hooked
The whole album is a experience
Turnover killing it as always man. These guys get better and better
Incredible band, there's such a power in their songs. Hope to see Turnover some day in Poland.
Mark Hoppus' Snapchat brought me here, and I'm glad it did! This rocks.
Turnover's new album 'Good Nature' is out 8/25, listen to the first single "Super Natural" right here! ua-cam.com/video/M6PpLn_6Sa4/v-deo.html
The band that they most reminded me of listening to this album is The Graduate, they are not particularly like them but the feel I get listening to Turnover is the same feeling I got listening to The Graduate, which is cool and one of my favourite albums of a fantastic year of music :)
Never heard a song more relatable than this one. I love it.
This is so smooth. Pop punk bands can only play pop punk for so long before having to blow up, grow up or beak up. These guys have made great forward progression with each release they've put out and this record in particular really shows a really solidified sound and its phenomenal.
This song is so beautiful.
this brings back so many memories
I’ve seen them 3 times with my kids . They get better and better. ❤
FANTASTIC
Peripheral vision has such a great coherent sound.
I listened to this song first off the album, then immediately purchased all of it. This has to be on my top 10 albums of all time.
Hearing this on vinyl is something different
Holy shit balls, that was good
Peripheral Vision is a CLASSIC! i love it.
Saw this played live, was absolutely captivating. The vibe made me high.
I love turnover so much. No band will ever mean as much as this band means to me ever. I will always support turnover in any way that I possibly can even if it means buying albums im not too crazy about. I will always listen to turniver for the simple fact of what they did for me at a show in San Diego at the che Cafe a few years back when magnolia was their latest album release. But truth be told NOTHING and I mean NOTHING will ever compare to this album let alone this fucking song. This is a song that will stay with me until my dying breath. This song means the world to me and I genuinely can never get enough of it. I will always support turnover in anything they do but i will always come back to this album and this song. Thank you turnover for talking to a fan when he was standing alone at a show completely uncomfortable and out of his element and making him feel comfortable and welcomed. Thank you for making me a hard-core loyal fan and for making music that has gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life.
I love this comment 😌
this will nvr get old
Im so addicted to this band
I can't even believe this is the same Turnover I fell in love with 3 years ago. It's like the're a completely different band now. They've progressed into something so much more than your favorite pop punk band and it's incredible to be able to watch them grow like this. I am too stoked on this new album.
One of my favorite songs!
I can't even explain how I love this song.
It was the "just another dream I've had thats better than my life" for me
Went to a The Story So Far concert in Baltimore a couple years ago and Turnover was opening for them and that's when I feel in love with this band. Such a great vibe to all of their songs and the lyrics just hit home. Can't wait for everything to go back to normal so I can see them live again 💖
"What if I dont want a pattern on my lawn?" Hits me every damn time.
It kills me that this album is 8 years old now.
This bassline is so fucking GOOD
This album has the same atmosphere as the song of The stone roses "I wanna be adored" and the same " bed with the lights off" mood. I LOVE IT!
This song is so great. I like their older stuff too but this new style fits them so well.
This song is everything.
This is 1982 Turnover
I hope this version were in spotify, the reverb sounds so pretty nostalgic in here! The spotify one sounds cool, but sounds so "high quality"
One of my Favorite ablums of the year. Great production, song writting.
So excited for Peripheral Vision!! Definitely gonna be an Album of the Year contender...
