These dudes music on mushrooms makes you feel fantastic, sad, and smart i don't do that stuff a lot but with this band playing wow man :) even sober they're amazing
i love how they took the sound they developed on peripheral vision and twisted it to be much happier tonally and more summery. it creates a really nice duality between the two albums.
It's July 1st. Good Nature is playing. I spent today at the beach, there's a cool breeze coming through my windows, and the sky is turning to watercolor. Sometimes life is alright.
TRACKLIST 1. Super Natural (00:00) 2. Sunshine Type (4:15) 3. What Got in the Way (7:22) 4. Butterfly Dream (11:01) 5. Curiosity (14:29) 6. Pure Devotion (18:07) 7. Nightlight Girl (21:59) 8. Breeze (25:45) 9. All That It Ever Was (29:08) 10. Living Small (33:07) 11. Bonnie (Rhythm & Melody) (36:36)
Peripheral Vision is honestly one of the best albums I've heard in the past little while. It's simply amazing. That being said, it's so freaking depressing man. Good Nature took me a couple listens to really get into, but once I did, it was all the smooth, chill Turnover that I love, while also being MUCH more easygoing. Thank you Turnover. Peripheral Vision was the album that got me through my breakup, and Good Nature was the album that reinforced the idea that everything was going to be fine. Mad love for this band, really.
I was dating this guy once and while chilling at his apartment he played this in the background and even though we don't speak anymore this video will always remind me of him and how peaceful his soul is.
My fiance attempted suicide july 25th, spent 5 weeks in a coma and died september 6th. We always listened to sad angsty shit like Citizen, tigres Jaw and AJJ. This has the same vibe as what i always listened to but so positive. Thank you Turnover, you saved my life.
Woke up with my girlfriend on a nice september morning in the desert of beautiful Arizona to this yesterday morning, with her cooking breakfast and making coffee, it was amazing. core memory unlocked.
I know that the rain falls hard when it falls And I know you're more of the Relaxing in the sunshine type of person It hurts when you gotta be at home and stay inside Scream and shout Throw your hands up until you go blue in the face You can try all you want You still won't make things change You could like the afternoon or night time And I'll like the morning I was thinking you could love a song that I hate I'd still play it for you If you know that it's a game You make the rules And you can play And you can laugh when you're behind You want to run away to somewhere warm I know it's cold, but if you wait, you'll enjoy it more It's not as serious as you might think You're probably looking away while you Scream and shout Throw your hands up until you go blue in the face You can try all you want You still won't make things change (After you know it's all a game Then when it storms, play in the rain) Scream and shout Throw your hands up until you go blue in the face You can try all you want You still won't make things change (After you know it's all a game Then when it storms, play in the rain)
I think it's incredibly beautiful the change that occurred between Peripheral Vision and Good Nature. Going from all of these dark thoughts and feelings to something that is soo pure, intoxicating, and positive. I always gush about it whenever I listen to Turnover.
shout out to run for cover for uploading the entire album just so other youtube users don't also turnover fucking RULES i am SO excited to listen to the full thing!!
It doesn't disappoint. This is one of my most antipacted records this year, and Run for Cover knocks it out of the park yet again. A solid 10/10 album.
i was looking for concerts near me last night because im thirsty for music right now . i noticed one of my favorite solo acts was playing about an hour from me soon , so i checked out the date and venue and everything and realized that they weren't even headlining . this band turnover was , and i had no idea who they were . naturally i looked em up. very happy
I love how everyone loved Peripheral Vision so much that the furthest criticism this album gets is "it's not Peripheral Vision" haha. Great album, complements PV very well. It's like the sequel in which all the characters are happier. They should release these two albums in a compilation.
I found that PV hit me like a ton of bricks all at once, my first time listening. And it continued to touch my soul every listen after. Good Nature didn't have that same initial effect, but like a lot of you guys have said, every time I listen to it, I love it a little bit more. It's become my summer/fall record for sure. Much love!
I admit I didnt like PV and was a huge fan of magnolia and their older stuff because it has a lot more energy. But im really liking this album. The guitars are just so cool.
First album was more pop punk/rock, 2nd one was more sad and negative with more dreamy sounds included. Now this one is more positive but still keeping the sound going.
One of the most beautiful albums, it’s good vibes all around. I’ve gotten the opportunity to see Turnover preform during their PN and GN albums, all around really amazing. Plus they teased new music at their most recent shows, I’m even more excited!
maybe i imagined it being so good. man, it seems like everything i remember doing we were in a cloud and i cant tell if it was in my head or in san francisco. thank you.
I think a fun thought is that these guys might be to us what Chicago or The Eagles must have been to our parent’s generation. We might be in our 40’s and end up going to a Turnover concert as the younger generation finds more intense, hardcore artists to go see live until they find their own Turnover to support. History is cyclical.
There are no bad songs, but I'm a little disappointed there isn't at least one sadder song like "Cutting My Fingers Off" or "New Scream". It's all just so damn positive!
Eric the Dead no see the whole point of the album is to remind you of happier times and let you realize that those times are gone, IN TURN making you sad and depressed :') Turnover knows what they're doing
Rip in pizza, Turnover. Those days are gone but memories won't fade I still remember every second in my head like yesterday I'll hold on tight to all that I have left And keep it clutched in close to me
I'm kind of confused here. A lot of people are complaining that PV was sadder and this was happier. I mean, that's up to interpretation but if that comparison was cast into your real life, would you prefer someone you care about as a friend be sad all the time because you like them that way or would you really demean them for finding something that made them happy?
Prior to listening: there was an ad I saw for this album and I missed it. They went full posty - shoegaze. You can tell from the This Will Destroy You album stream-type image in this video.
FUCKIN' PERFECT! I love this band since I first listened Peripheral Vision and they just keep making beautiful great music. Turnover thanks for making my life better with every one of your songs.
This album makes me feel like I'm floating down a stream in the summer and everything is right with the world
These dudes music on mushrooms makes you feel fantastic, sad, and smart i don't do that stuff a lot but with this band playing wow man :) even sober they're amazing
C M same
Absolutely great way of putting it! Agreed!
Oddly enough, I agree with this comment as much as I do C M’s.
That was to Andrew J.
*peripheral vision*
"i wANT TO DIE, MY CHEST HURTS SO BAD"
*good nature*
"i LOVE BEING ALIVE, I WANT A RELATIONSHIP, I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW"
good night moon
You're late
I expected to see you here earlier lol
littlebighead15 im sorry, i was sleeping :(
What's up hubby
Noah Dainty hola
good night moon I fucking dislike this fact! if I was in a relationship I might like it more BUT IM NOT
it's almost like peripheral vision is yin and good nature is yang and they kind of contrast but also complete each other
lerm germ yes ! I love this explanation.
thats what Austin told us at the listening party (:
*Yin
Two Doctors whaaaat that's far out!

Shawn Turner they should have released it in the spring. PV is my go to sadboi fall album for sure
I’ve seen that comment on another Turnover video. What’s the big idea?
So well said Shawn Turner!!!
One of the best albums of all time...
It's July 1st. Good Nature is playing. I spent today at the beach, there's a cool breeze coming through my windows, and the sky is turning to watercolor. Sometimes life is alright.
Turnover, specifically this album, changed my life.

michael basden Im so sorry to hear that. I'm glad such a great band as this can help you through dark days. Stay strong.
Heart goes out to you friend❤️
Love to you my friend, from Brazil!
Curiosity song is calling back a fun memory when I college, refreshing my mind and makes me feel so positive. Cool song!
Words can't describe the love and gratefulness I have for this band. I still can't believe that something that good can exist.
I totally agree.
seriously, they are so creative and talented. 🥺
Woke up with my girlfriend on a nice september morning in the desert of beautiful Arizona to this yesterday morning, with her cooking breakfast and making coffee, it was amazing. core memory unlocked.
Good music exists out here. You just have to find it, and when you do... Its like finding Gold that shines on your soul.
Yøu sure know what to say, friend.
I know that the rain falls hard when it falls
And I know you're more of the
Relaxing in the sunshine type of person
It hurts when you gotta be at home and stay inside
Scream and shout
Throw your hands up until you go blue in the face
You can try all you want
You still won't make things change
You could like the afternoon or night time
And I'll like the morning
I was thinking you could love a song that I hate
I'd still play it for you
If you know that it's a game
You make the rules
And you can play
And you can laugh when you're behind
You want to run away to somewhere warm
I know it's cold, but if you wait, you'll enjoy it more
It's not as serious as you might think
You're probably looking away while you
Scream and shout
Throw your hands up until you go blue in the face
You can try all you want
You still won't make things change
(After you know it's all a game
Then when it storms, play in the rain)
Scream and shout
Throw your hands up until you go blue in the face
You can try all you want
You still won't make things change
(After you know it's all a game
Then when it storms, play in the rain)
Loving your Band since 2014❤❤❤ greetings from the Philippines

Mweventos Manaus ugh I scrolled forever to find this comment again
Found this album a few months ago and it changed my life. Pure majesty.
curiosity is the best turnover song to date
I think it's incredibly beautiful the change that occurred between Peripheral Vision and Good Nature. Going from all of these dark thoughts and feelings to something that is soo pure, intoxicating, and positive. I always gush about it whenever I listen to Turnover.

I love these guys. So far Butterfly Dream is a favourite! Can't stop myself humming it in work
this album is literally what summer sounds like
Can we take a minute to appreciate Breeze??? What a banger! 🤘🏻
Beaux Bennett ikr???
This album is beautiful. Its so light and postive i feel like turnovers sound has grown with me
Great album, great band, great vibes. Big fan from Colombia (bonnie is my fav track btw)
It doesn't disappoint. This is one of my most antipacted records this year, and Run for Cover knocks it out of the park yet again. A solid 10/10 album.

These are the songs you'll listen to while driving the car
Lean Crame did that already✔️
Jordin Ebright good for you man!!
Idk why everyone is saying this has the opposite feel of peripheral vision
In my opinion there are positive and negative vibe songs on both
It's almost like you need to listen to and experience Peripheral Vision to fully appreciate Good Nature.
I love how everyone loved Peripheral Vision so much that the furthest criticism this album gets is "it's not Peripheral Vision" haha.

Oh shit that's not a picture on the video! Kudos for the live scenery. It blends well this peaceful record. It also is in sync with the title.
Clicked on a random interval to sample the 'sound' of the album.
3 seconds later: yep, love it.
1 year later...same here. Instant love. Gives me that Real Estate fix I'm always looking for.
Summer banger after banger
man its been awhile since i legit blast turnover. good nature is just gold
this is so beautiful, I love this band so much. absolutely amazing album.
I admit I didnt like PV and was a huge fan of magnolia and their older stuff because it has a lot more energy. But im really liking this album. The guitars are just so cool.

man its crazy how much this band has grown since sasha. Listening to Turnover can be like listening to two different bands sometimes and I love that.
One of the most beautiful albums, it’s good vibes all around. I’ve gotten the opportunity to see Turnover preform during their PN and GN albums, all around really amazing. Plus they teased new music at their most recent shows, I’m even more excited!

woow! where i have been all this years? what a nice ambiance to here this song, makes my heart wanna jumps out...
Arguably one of the best albums of all time. Modern day Pet Sounds
im okay with the words you just used
Yoooooo i agree with this so much holy shit
This is definitely my nr 1 go to album when july arrives. Something about the sound reminds me of warm summer evenings at the lake
I think a fun thought is that these guys might be to us what Chicago or The Eagles must have been to our parent’s generation. Love this sound so much coke back with this sound again guys it’s happy yet and hopefull
Reminds me of home. Back in Santa Barbara. I miss my all my friends.
This band deserves much more recognition than they get. Theyre fucking amazing
been waiting on this, cant wait to see Turnover live.
This is still one of the greatest records ever written
y'all never disappoint. come to brazi- i mean, come faster! can't wait.

CAUSE YOU'RE AN IDIOT
I am in love with this bands music 🎶 gosh I just feel so amazing when I listen to there songs
Makes me wish I was flying down a mountain on my Burton with my headphones on.
This album is everything I was hoping for & maybe even a little more. Really excited to catch these guys in chicago this November.
Erik Cohen see you there
Erik Cohen me too, except ATL
Thanks for the early morning somethings.
I AM SO HAPPY THEY MADE THIS ALBUM
Favourite song: Bonnie. Hope they'll play it on the upcoming tours.
This song makes me feel so sad about all the times i spent with my family);
Turnover making me feel all sorts of good.
Saw you guys open for Beach Fossils in Portland and you guys stole the show. Amazing sounds.
this album makes me feel alive
This album put me on a good trip i love it thanks 🌊
Saame. 😩😩😩
There are no bad songs, but I'm a little disappointed there isn't at least one sadder song like "Cutting My Fingers Off" or "New Scream". It's all just so damn positive!
Eric the Dead All That Ever Was is pretty bad, and I agree nothing too sad but their dreamy sound is so melancholy it makes even the happy songs sad
Eric the Dead no see the whole point of the album is to remind you of happier times and let you realize that those times are gone, IN TURN making you sad and depressed :') Turnover knows what they're doing
all that ever was is a great song
Eric the Dead which is weird because he grew a beard and his hair, the kind of thing I do when I'm going through a Peripheral Vision phase lol
Breeze is the closet thing to PV
Such a good album, really happy with it. Favorite songs are: What got in the way, Curiosity, Bonnie, and Super Natural
Loving this in Cleveland! Can't wait to see Turnover again soon!
regardless of where their music goes, i'll be listening
Every track is great keep it up guys!!! Cannot wait to see you live...
Rip in pizza, Turnover.
Those days are gone but memories won't fade
I still remember every second in my head like yesterday
I'll hold on tight to all that I have left
And keep it clutched in close to me
they died, were awoken and have now revived as hippies. but rip in pizza dude
Rest in Pepperoni
Annual vibes to this album, Turnover on some next-level vision 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think the lyrics are my favorite part of this whole lovely thing
This record is a treasure
This album makes you feel good but not too good which is right were i wanna be
I'm kind of confused here. A lot of people are complaining that PV was sadder and this was happier. Bill Cosby I'm give you another like :) 👍🏻
whoaaa look at bill cosby
wat
I would like this but you kinda drugged a lot of people, Mr. Cosby
Just bought tickets, so stoked to see them!
IM SO HAPPY YOU GUYS EXIST
I love this band. Helped me through
Breeze and What got in the way really are amazing tracks. The whole album is. But I wish they'd play those two live more.
since i come to this spot about twice a day i figured i should probably toss it a like
Prior to listening: there was an ad I saw for this album and I missed it. They went full posty - shoegaze. You can tell from the This Will Destroy You album stream-type image in this video.
Yo holy shit the image is moving.
FUCKIN' PERFECT! I love this band since I first listened Peripheral Vision and they just keep making beautiful great music. Turnover thanks for making my life better with every one of your songs.

Reminds me of Anberlin's slow songs, is that pretty spot on?
Favorite song Butterfly Dream...Anyone else?
Reddchester YES
I feel like the album REALLY starts once you hit Butterfly Dreams
Breeze is such a good song!
