This was 27 years after we lost Freddie, most of this crowed would not have been alive when Freddie was. So much part of being Brittish is singing like this, it can happen in the car, shops, pub etc. There are many songs we can belt out Fairy Tail of New York is a classic. The Oasis back catalog, 500 miles by the Proclamers, so many.
I believe Green Day (the band) plays this music before may, if not all of their concerts - perhaps to get the crowd going a bit, and to keep them busy!! I’ve seen different recordings of it - very cool IMO!! Such a beautiful homage to Queen - and of course to Freddie! Thanks.
@@paulschmehl2124 Thanks for this,my friend, and a bit of advice from someone entering their 8th decade on May,18th. :) You allocate exactly the right amount of space for the video and yet instead of enlarging it by touching the bottom symbol on the extreme right, you take up nearly half the space allocated with other words and pictures, which are not relevant to this and diminish the size of the video,in the decent space that you have already allocated so that we can, also, enjoy the pictures. All it does is give us much less video to look at,dor no reason or gain. Good luck from London,My Friend..
Remember these were Green Day fans attending a Green Day Concert, and this crowd knew every word to Bohemian Rhapsody... and even tried to sing Brian's guitar solo. Nearest I've seen to this, is Hua Chenyu and audience at his Concerts doing the two-way *conversation* of his song... "Conversations with Martians" .
U are the nicest man Ive ever seen not only on UA-cam but any social media & thank u for putting a blessing for us may God bless u & ur family always it was an absolute honour to watch ur reaction thank u
The British weather is crap, we might not be the top dog any more on the world stage, but The Brits are still the greatest people in the world and I'm proud to be one of them.
What a lovely man you are ……..there is a lot more queen to do& don’t forget to listen to Freddie singing with Montserrat Caballe…..sensational!!❤️🎼❤️🇬🇧
May I suggest sir for what goes in your description is ‘the miracle at Hyde Park’ ? Soon to be a major motion picture ;-) this wasn’t my father’s Woodstock, no sir.

Hahaha. That’s the first time for me when I actually enjoyed listening to a whole song done by an audience. Very cool.
I was leery when I started it, but it turned out to be really cool.

Most of these who attended the 'Green Day' concert would not have been alive or just babies when this song came out.
And yet they know it by heart. Amazing.

Millions of people know it word for word, it's the UK national anthem.

Thank you.
Every time I watch this I’m always amazed by the skyline. Who else thinks Freddie is watching?
